Driving cycle development is essential for analyzing fuel consumption and emissions in the automotive industry. This paper emphasizes the importance of achieving short cycle times in feedback loop control to enhance the efficiency of driving cycle development. Using the Ipoh Driving Cycle as a case study, the research demonstrates how minimizing execution time improves real-time analysis and decision-making for urban driving conditions. By converting MATLAB-based models into the Siemens Totally Integrated Automation Portal environment, the study achieves significant improvements in execution efficiency. The cycle time is reduced from 45 seconds in MATLAB to 100 milliseconds in the Siemens environment, enabling rapid feedback and system responsiveness. This research highlights the challenges of integrating MATLAB with industrial automation systems and the strategies used to optimize compatibility and reduce computational overhead. The findings underscore the critical role of short cycle times in enhancing driving cycle accuracy and responsiveness while providing a practical framework for integrating simulation tools with real-time platforms to support energy-efficient automotive development.

This research explores the intersection of trust, perceived risk, and sustainability in shaping consumer behavior when purchasing health products online. The study examines how e-commerce platforms can better cater to the growing demand for eco-friendly health products while addressing consumer concerns related to trust and risk. The findings indicate that trust remains a major determinant in consumers’ decisions to purchase health products online, with perceived risk, particularly in terms of product authenticity and online payment security, also playing a significant role. Furthermore, consumers are increasingly concerned about the sustainability of the products they buy, with eco-labels and clear information about eco-friendly products influencing purchasing decisions. The study highlights the need for e-commerce platforms to prioritize security, transparency, and eco-friendliness to attract and retain consumers.

This paper investigates the integration of Active and Passive Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces (AIRS-PIRS) in moving Ambulatory Monitoring Systems (AMS) within 5G/6G networks. By strategically deploying AIRS-PIRS, electromagnetic waves can be manipulated to enhance signal coverage and quality. The study demonstrates that incorporation of AIRS-PIRS in AMS improves Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER) in Rayleigh fading environment. This research explores both AIRS and PIRS concepts, emphasizing the superiority of joint AIRS-PIRS over single PIRS system in optimizing the AMS performance, that makes AMS more effective for real time health monitoring in dynamic environments.

Power dissipation is an important design parameter in Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) systems, as it plays a major role in the performance estimation of batteryoperated devices. The review article provides a Power Distribution Network (PDN) system using a proactive noise mitigation system for supply voltage with low noise. This proactive noise mitigation system proposes a lightweight current prediction solution to predict the near future noise and a majorminor voltage regulator (MMVR) design to provide fast and wide-range voltage scaling capability. As the chip density increases and the decrease in the chip size will help to design a low-power consuming and high-performance System on a chip. For this low-noise PDN design, a chip load model is also designed to fill the gap between the PDN design with off-chip and timing information with on-chip. The review article aims to help the researchers to design a supply voltage of a low-noise power distribution network (PDN) system and implement it into an Internet of Things (IoT) application.

In the context of today's global economic integration, investor sentiment influences wheat futures price fluctuations through information exchange on online platforms, playing a crucial role in price discovery, risk management, and resource allocation. With the development of the internet and social media, investor sentiment has become a significant psychological factor in the market, reflected through information exchanged on online platforms, driving price fluctuations in the futures market. The purpose of this study is to explore how investor sentiment impacts wheat futures prices from the perspective of sentiment analysis, aiming to deepen the understanding of investor sentiment's influence on financial markets and to provide market participants with big data-based sentiment insight tools to assist them in making more informed investment decisions. The analysis shows that investor sentiment is predominantly positive (59.8% positive vs. 23.6% negative), with positive sentiment significantly driving price increases, while negative sentiment has a weaker suppressive effect. control variables like trading volume and open interest negatively impact prices, highlighting the combined influence of sentiment and trading behavior. The model demonstrates strong explanatory power (adjusted $R^{2} = 0.632$ ).

Leaky wave antennas (LWAs) are a class of reconfigurable antennas known for their high directivity and frequency-scanning abilities. However, their practical deployment in next-generation wireless communication is hindered by two critical challenges: beam squint and frequencydependent operation. Furthermore, achieving fixed-frequency beam steering is highly challenging in traditional LWAs. This paper presents the design of a revolutionary class of metasurface antennas, known as Dynamic Metasurface Antennas (DMA), that addresses the beam squint and frequency-dependence issues inherent in traditional LWAs. Unlike the slots used in LWAs, the DMA utilizes complementary electric inductive capacitive (CELC) resonant metamaterial elements, enabling precise control of the radiation pattern and electronic beam steering with seamless integration and a readily available tunable aperture. The proposed metasurface antenna consists of 16 CELC resonators etched onto the top layer of a planar substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) aperture. By employing various tuning schemes for the diodes, the phase differences between the radiating elements can be dynamically adjusted, enabling real-time antenna pattern generation and reconfiguration. The proposed DMA can produce a range of beam patterns, from narrow-to-wide steerable directive beams to complex multibeam configurations, achieved through programmable digital codes. Here, we demonstrate five such fixed-frequency steerable beams at 62 GHz. The proposed mmWave DMA design advances agile antenna technology, establishing DMAs as an efficient solution for next-generation 6G holographic communication, computational imaging, metasensing, and satellite applications.

Advancements in fifth generation (5G) technology have seen a rise in adapting network slicing (NS) to differentiate the services offered in different network segments due to differences in performance requirements and traffic characteristics. With the growing demand for network automation, several works have explored the concepts of intelligent network slicing. This work, however, demonstrates an approach to traffic prediction that informs network function (NF) resource demands based on the traffic pattern studied in the network slices (NSs). Using traffic volume as the basis for sharing resources among NFs in the NSs, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm is used to study and predict the traffic patterns. This prediction is then used as input to the resources allocation algorithm, that is based on game theory, where the resources are allocated dynamically and fairly amongst the NSs. The work demonstrates a foundation on which all other resources allocation–in the Radio Access Network (RAN), Transport Network (TN), and Core Network (CN)–can be based on to formulate strategic resource sharing amongst NFs.

In recent years, activities across countries have increasingly been carried out digitally, with information being shared over networks to boost speed and efficiency. However, this digital transformation poses security threats. Cybercrime has consistently evolved, necessitating improved network security measures to combat digital scams. To maintain security, users are assigned unique identification passwords, which they are instructed to keep secret. Despite this, attackers often manage to steal passwords. To counter these threats, we propose using honeywords, which are decoy passwords created from the existing user password. If an attacker inputs a honeyword, an alert is activated for the administrator. Moreover, we implement IP and location monitoring for users and introduce a approach known as the video click-based CAPTCHA system. This scheme authenticates users by distinguishing between humans and bots, addressing issues in traditional graphic password CAPTCHA schemes. This architecture significantly enhances protection and security of data and applications over online networks.

Social media is a pivotal aspect of modern communication, influencing how individuals connect, share, and engage. This study investigates its effects on mental well-being through the application of sophisticated Machine Learning techniques, including Random Forest (97% accuracy), Decision Tree (91.75% accuracy), XGBoost (95% accuracy), and Naïve Bayes (92% accuracy). By employing sentiment analysis and natural language processing on user-generated content, the research identifies emotional trends, behavior patterns, and early indicators of psychological distress. The findings highlight age-specific tendencies, particularly among teenagers and young adults, where excessive use of social media platforms is linked to heightened risks of anxiety, depression, and isolation, despite the platforms' potential to offer support networks and mental health resources. The investigation proposes AI-driven approaches to encourage balanced social media usage, facilitating early intervention and addressing mental health issues. Thorough validation and independent data analysis confirm the models' reliability, providing valuable insights for mental health experts, policymakers, and platform developers to create user-focused solutions that promote healthier online interactions.
