MicroRNA or (miRNA) is a small noncoding RNA that regulates the expression levels of gene in post transcriptional order. Small noncoding miRNA expression are altered between cancer tissue and normal tissue. miRNAs have been emerged as candidate key for breast cancer (BC) which accounts for one-fourth of all diagnosed cancers and affects one in eight females. There is practical need for identifying the most influencing miRNAs in BC for clear understanding of cancer prognosis and treatment. In this work, miRNA expression data (GSE58606) has been utilized for identifying key miRNAs breast cancer. A filter-based feature selection approach has been used for candidate miRNA identification. Further, the predictive performance of the identified miRNAs was validated using classifiers;Naïve Bayes, support vector machine, K-nearest neighbor, neural networks under various evaluation matrices. For all the classifiers, the nine selected miRNA candidates were observed with equivalent predictive accuracy in comparison to the all the miRNAs in the data set. The selected miRNAs were also verified to be significantly differentially expressed and take part in crucial biological activities in breast cancer. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this paper, clay composites were tested for electromagnetic field transmission in the frequency range 1.4 to 4 GHz. Samples were made as composites with antimony tin oxide (ATO). This addition to the clay has significantly reduced the electric field level of the EM wave propagated through the composite. The percentage of additive (ATO) in the clay is 10% by weight. The results presented in this paper include measuring the transmission coefficient S21 for samples of these composites in three stages of sample preparation: wet sample, dry sample and baked sample. These stages are related to the brick production process, and the last stage is brick firing. Therefore, the most important information is about the value of the transmission parameter (S21) and the frequency sub band of the entire measured range of the baked brick. As expected, a decrease in the amount of moisture in the brick composite sample resulted in an increase in the transmission coefficient. The most important data derived from this study are that the minimum value of the transmission parameter S21 was achieved for wet samples and is -78.57 dB at a frequency of 2.83 GHz, with the largest difference being -31.83 dB. For the fired clay sample - the last phase of brick production, the minimum value of the transmission parameter S21 achieved at a frequency of 2.82 GHz is -57.57 dB, with the largest difference in the value of the composite compared to the reference sample -32.08 dB at a frequency of 3.20 GHz. © 2022 IEEE.

Internet of things (IoT) is very fast-growing technology in recent days. In this, many electrical devices help to share user’s information from one place to another place without any human presence. These devices are embedded with smart components like sensors and actuators for transmitting huge data in open networking environments. Due to this open networking access, there is a chance for getting unauthorized access. To eliminate this issue, it requires a trusted third party (TTP) for providing confidentiality and authentication through a piece of extra information called key. But, in few cases TTP is leaks user’s key and eliminated key escrow functionality. In this article, a hybrid escrow-free mechanism has been proposed. It combines verified partial key escrow (VPKE) and guaranteed partial key escrow (GPKE). By the use of VPKE, TTP receives part of key from escrow and verify the secret key of the message. In other side, GPKE, multiple computation required for getting original key. The hybrid model is helps to reduce the time complexity and number of computations for key management functionalities. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Resource Allocation (RA) in cloud computing is the process of allocating available resources to required cloud applications across a network connection. If resources aren't distributed efficiently, essential services will suffer. Utilizing the Credal C-Means (CCM) technique, we group virtual machines across all data centres. We keep two entities, including a load monitor and a migrator, to keep the weight of each CSP steady. Here, a load monitor calculates an approximate data centre workload, and a migrator transfers live virtual machines. In this case, the Hybrid Copy method is used to relocate running virtual machines. We are able to do both internal and external live VM migration across CSPs. We use the Cloudsim tool to demonstrate the efficacy of our strategy in a federation setting. Cloudsim's simulation findings are positive across the board, but especially in regards to communication cost.

Software-defined networks initiate the era of a programmable network by segregating the control plane and data plane. It eliminates the bottleneck of programming each device manually and brace the concept of logical centralization. The primary element of the control plane is the controller where the intelligence of the entire network is implemented. There are a variety of controllers available in the market such as RYU, ODL, FloodLight, Beacon, IRIS, ONOS, OpenMUL, Mastero, POX, NOX, Libfliud, and many more. All the controllers behave differently depending on the number of nodes, topology structure, configuration environment, type of traffic flow, etc. To explore the capabilities of the controller and to measure the performance capabilities, proper comparative performance evaluation is highly demanded. So, this paper evaluates the seven widely used controllers in the market against several performance parameters such as TCP-Throughput, UDP-throughput, jitter, latency, and the number of hosts. To carry out this evaluation, research tools such as Mininet, iperf, Gnuplot have been used. At last, in-depth discussion is carried out and results are represented in the form of graphs for better analysis and understanding. Obtained results give in-depth information about the controllers performance that which controllers perform best based on the number of switches and hosts. © 2021 IEEE

Product reviews are essential as they help customers to make purchase decisions. Often these product reviews are used to be too abundant, lengthy and descriptive. However, the abstractive text summarization (ATS) system can help to build an internal semantic representation of the text with the use of natural language processing to create sentiment-based summaries of the entire reviews. An ATS system is proposed in this work, which is called a many-to-many sequence problem where attention-based long short-term memory (LSTM) is incorporated to generate the summary of the product reviews. The proposed ATS system works in two stages. In the first stage, a data processing module is designed to create the structured representation of the text, where noise and other irrelevant data are also removed. In the second stage, the attention-based long short-term memory (LSTM) model is designed to train, validate and test the system. It is found that the proposed approach can better deal with the rare words, also can generate readable, short and informative summaries. An experimental analysis has been carried out over the Amazon product review dataset, and to validate the result, the ROUGE measure is used. The obtained result reflects the efficacy of the proposed method over other state-of-the-art methods. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Deep learning has benefited us in resolving many complex problems. Computer vision is a subcategory of it. With the ability to find patterns from unstructured data, Deep learning has immense potential. Big techs are very keen on producing a computer with human brain-like decision-making capabilities. With all these sweeter sides comes the bitter side of it. Deepfake is one such occurrence. It creates a mask which contain properties of a particular person and can be applied to some other person. In this way the target is depicted doing deeds which he never did. With the increased capacity of a specific field i.e. Generative Adversarial Network (GAN);now we can create high-quality deepfakes. Deepfakes nowadays can easily deceive human eyes. The consequences of this can be devastating and unforeseeable. Creating chaos, privacy threats are some of the major reasons why people are questioning deepfakes. Victims' size has started including common public. What could be done is to keep a check over its spreading. This work has taken into consideration the problems that emerged by deepfakes and proposed a method to detect forgery among videos. © 2021 IEEE.

Social media is attaining popularity day by day across domains. Approximately about 40% of the world's population uses social media. Automatically these people look the influencers in social media to guide them with their decision-making in a day-to-day life. An influencer in social media is someone who can influence others. Finding the best influencer as a seed node among social media users is relevant to research. This paper proposes a methodology that can get the most suitable influencer list based on context analysis. A contextual analysis analyzes a text in different media that helps us assess that text within the context. The hybrid way of using the graph networks and the machine learning algorithms like LSTM and Naive Bayes together as suggested in this article helps us assess that text and find the influencer significantly better than the existing approaches. We prove that the hybrid model can produce more accurate results in such a way that we only get the users who can positively influencer other users. Based on our result, we are sure that this hybrid model can produce more accurate results for funding the best set of influencers. Along with that, the combined use of LSTM and Naive Bayes can produce better results. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

data storage is transitioning from physical servers to “cloud” storage because cloud service providers deliver the resources through the Internet when required. Cloud computing is a successful and rapidly evolving technology. With new features and capabilities released regularly, companies can move to the cloud on a “pay as you go” model. The most prominent feature of pay as you go model on the cloud is that it is cost-effective, however, this makes the cloud platform vulnerable to cyber attacks. This is the reason, the safety of such information has become a concern. This paper provides a security framework that secures cloud storage from unauthorized individuals by using user identification and authorization. We have used dual encryption by using Advance encryption standard (AES) & Ecliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). The double encryption makes the cloud environment resilient against different security attacks. The experimental results show that the proposed model has low computing costs.
