This article deeply dives into a shift in document security by introducing innovative authentication measures. Conventional digital signature methods are less secure and can easily be forged. Our research explores the integration of multiple signatures authentication and time-constrained signature features, which will boost the security of digital signatures across documents;by introducing a time-constrained signing approach, we are addressing potential issues and establishing robust defense against various threats. Also, multiple files can be uploaded using a single CID in interplanetary file system (IPFS). Oil spills represent a major environmental threat, particularly in marine ecosystems. Timely detection and segmentation of oil spills from satellite imagery is crucial for directing rapid response and remediation *** research concludes with an insights by developing a deep learning approach for automated detection and segmentation of oil spills from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) *** research implements and compares three algorithms PSPNET,DeepLapV3 and fully convolutional networks (FCN) with U-Net for semantic segmentation of SAR *** the networks are trained on a dataset of SAR images with pixel-wise labels indicating oil spill regions. This research also evaluates the segmentation performance using common metrics like intersection-over-union (IoU) and pixel-wise accuracy. Our results indicate that both FCN and U-Net can effectively detect and delineate oil spill regions, with U-Net demonstrating slightly higher IoU scores and with and accuracy of 95%. The deep learning models generalize well to unseen SAR images. Overall, this work demonstrates the feasibility of deep convolutional neural networks for automated analysis of SAR imagery to enable rapid oil spill response at marine environment. © 2024 IEEE.

This work proposes an analytical approach to design fractional filter IMC-PI controller to enhance the performance for First Order Plus Time Delay (FOPTD) processes using an enhanced Smith predictor structure. The novelty of the work is its simple analytical tuning rules proposed to determine the fractional filter parameters based on the minimization of IAE. Simulation studies on the process show the effectiveness of the proposed analytical method in obtaining improved performance and robustness. © 2023 IEEE.

This research underscores the nuanced challenges associated with optimizing retrieval pipelines to ensure reliable and contextually relevant data extraction. People aged 65 and over are generally referred to as older adult, and these people often require physical and mental support. Therefore, we developed a physical and mental support system for the older adults by using the communication robot, Unibo. In daily physical support, it is important to be able to obtain vital values quickly and easy to check them, and in mental support, communication is important. Hence the system measures body temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate and provides physical support for contacting medical institutions about the measurements and mental support for reducing loneliness and anxiety through conversations and games. The experimental results demonstrated that the system has the potential to relieve loneliness and anxiety in the older adults while aiding medical institutions in obtaining measurement data directly. Moreover, the system was demonstrated to be a friendly verbal communication interface for older adults.

As edge computing becomes an increasingly important computing model, trust management and security issues are becoming more severe. Problems such as malicious node attacks and trust isolation pose threats to the security and stability of edge computing environments. Therefore, designing an efficient and secure trust management mechanism is imperative. This paper proposes a trust collaboration technology for edge computing, addressing trust isolation and security issues through a unified trust value calculation method and blockchain technology. The designed trust management model evaluates the identity, capability, and behavior of terminal nodes using static and dynamic trust measurements. A consortium blockchain stores trust information to ensure immutability and efficient sharing. Simulation experiments validate the scheme's effectiveness in countering malicious node attacks, improving task completion rates, and reducing system risks. The fifth era (5G) of cell communication systems is a progressive jump forward in the evolution of wireless networks.
