This work aims to identify the latest progress, techniques and/or models implemented to improve the information quality in the information retrieval process, as well as the defined metrics to evaluate the quality of the content;therefore, a review of research work carried out in the last five years is presented, in the analysis carried out it was shown that 44% of the retrieval systems focus on improving the indexation of the documents allowing better accessibility, which leads to optimal growth at the time of extraction, the other 66% points to the quality of the response of the queries;as a result, it was found that the common factors that affect quality when searching, retrieving and representing the information available to the user, among which are user satisfaction, the quality of the classification and the quality of the text itself.

Software as a service (SaaS) is a cloud computing model that are extensively adopted and being used every day in the growing technology era. SaaS has provided variety of functionalities and flexibilities to save time, cost and efforts on how people do and run their day to day work and tasks. Although SaaS provides opportunities and convenience, there are also a lot of security in particular trust related issues that are still exists. There are voices of public users on online articles emphasizing about how dangerous it is for connecting to a public network. Hence the aim of this research is to identify factors that may influence the users' trust in using the SaaS (public network). This study occupied quantitative methodology engaging 209 survey respondents. The correlation analyses were performed to find the association between deduced factors and trust in using SaaS within public network area. This study may assist the public network providers in designing related network security policies with regard to the presence of SaaS usage in public network.

The Internet of things (IoT) is a device that can perform mechanical or electrical interaction to its environment while also transferring data through a network. The exponential rise in IoT implementation starts to affect human-to-human communication recently. Furthermore, it is hard to achieve a secure transmission as the microprocessor-based IoT nodes do not have enough computing power. Edge computing in IoT (edge-IoT) promises low bandwidth and secure transmission. Edge-IoT is the ability of a node to perform high computation before sending its data. Thus, instead of sending raw data, an edge node is sending a post-processed the data with much lower bandwidth. An edge-IoT node also can perform a complex encryption computation before the transmission to secure the data. This paper proposes an edge-IoT using field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA) as an IoT node. The edge-IoT with FPGA can perform secure, parallel data acquisition and low bandwidth data transmission with almost the same cost as the microprocessor-based IoT.
