At present, the production environment underground in coal mines is complex, with a wide variety of equipment types and complex structures, and a lack of root cause analysis of unsafe equipment states. This paper aims to introduce the causal scientific theory into the intelligent management system of the mechanical and electrical equipment of coal mine, focusing on the use of intelligent remote video and image recognition technology. The research on fault warning, identification control and predictive maintenance of key equipment in coal mine (taking belt conveyor as an example) is carried out in order to provide reference for improving the safety of mechanical and electrical equipment in coal mine and reducing the failure rate of equipment. © 2024 IEEE.

This article develops an intelligent multi-channel absolute encoder acquisition device (IMAEAD) for a domestically produced intelligent programmable logic controller (IPLC), using the GD32 microcontroller from GigaDevice Semiconductor as the MCU control unit. The SIT3088 from Xinlite receives the clock and data signals from the absolute encoder, and designs an upper computer based on the Rockchip CPU to achieve data exchange with the multi-channel encoder acquisition device through the CAN bus. The ASM58N-F1AK1R0GN-1213 encoder and SSI signal simulator were used in the experiment to verify and test the developed acquisition device. The developed device can achieve real-time acquisition of the encoded value and judge the upper or lower threshold limit. It has been applied in practical engineering. The factors affecting the measurement accuracy and real-time performance of the device is Analyzed and the software system is optimized. The developed device is designed based on domestically produced electronic components, ensuring the security of the chip supply chain. © 2024 IEEE.

Food delivery services have grown rapidly, making ensuring food quality and safety harder. This article investigates how Internet of Things (IoT) technologies might improve food delivery efficiency and dependability by improving routing methods and temperature management. It provides a unique delivery route optimization method that uses real-time GPS and traffic data from IoT devices. It reduces delivery times, fuel use, and environmental effects. Simulation and real-world testing show that the suggested routing algorithm outperforms the proposed techniques. Furthermore, it addresses the crucial problem of food delivery temperature management. IoT-enabled temperature sensors and control systems monitor and manage perishable food temperatures during delivery. It reduces food waste and improves food safety by keeping food products within temperature ranges. It performed comprehensive environmental tests to evaluate our temperature control system and examined the findings for temperature stability and food quality maintenance. IoT technology can improve food delivery efficiency, dependability and safety. For food delivery services aiming to improve operations using IoT, this paper offers insights and suggestions. © 2024 IEEE.

The goal of the Drug Inventory and Supply Chain Tracking System is to make the distribution, storage, monitoring, and acquisition of pharmaceuticals more efficient Utilizing cutting-edge technologies, this system offers automated inventory updates, real-time tracking, and demand forecasting predictive analytics. By keeping precise records of medication movements and expirations, it improves regulatory compliance, guarantees supply chain transparency, and lowers the possibility of stockouts or overstocking. The architecture of the system incorporates modules for point-of-sale tracking, transportation logistics, warehouse operations, and supplier management. To further protect sensitive data, it integrates access control and user authentication and access control systems to protect private information. This technology helps healthcare organizations save money, enhance patient outcomes, and run more efficiently by promoting data-driven decision-making and resource optimization. © 2025 IEEE.

Facemasks are an essential tool for reducing the spread of respiratory viruses, including the COVID-19 *** the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of facemasks has become an important measure to prevent the spread of respiratory *** monitor compliance with facemask-wearing regulations in public spaces, computer vision techniques can be used to detect whether individuals in images or videos are wearing *** this paper, we proposed facemask detection using R-CNN and Fast R-CNN *** evaluate the performance of each technique using publicly available datasets and compare their accuracy and *** results show that object detection using RNN and Fast RNN performs well as compared to the other techniques considering accuracy and ***, our study demonstrates the potential of computer vision techniques for facemask detection and required further research in this area to increase accuracy and robustness. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) based on the mirror array is regarded as an effective way to increase the stability of indoor visible light communication (VLC) links, which can combat the blocking problem of line of sight (LoS) link and improve the systems achievable communication rate. The achievable rate maximization problem that mirror array based IRS assisted indoor VLC systems is a highly non-convex optimization problem. We propose an improved Sine cosine Algorithm (SCA) to solve the achievable rate maximization problem in which the practical random position state information of the users and the access point (AP) is considered. We propose a two-step iterative strategy for the improved SCA. In the first stage of iteration, the control mechanism of random parameters is improved to adjust the algorithm ability in the search. In the second stage of iteration, a fast search and comparison mechanism is introduced, which can avoid the improved SCA to get a local optimal solution. The simulation shows that the improved SCA is superior to the traditional SCA in convergence and efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

An integrated energy system is a complex system that requires intelligent control to optimize its operation. This paper proposes an intelligent control method for integrated energy systems based on a low carbon model. The model integrates a variety of low carbon technologies such as carbon capture systems, demand response, carbon emissions trading, and clean energy generation. The effect of the proposed intelligent control methods on reducing system costs and carbon emissions is verified through a case study. The results show that the combination of the intelligent control method and the low carbon model leads to a significant reduction in system operating costs and carbon emissions. This provides an important reference for intelligent control of the existing integrated energy system from a low-carbon approach. © 2024 IEEE.

ATM card fraud is on the increase with the recent cashless policy and change of naira notes in Nigeria. Transactions are mostly done through cards, making it vulnerable to fraud hence;it is a major issue of concern to the banking sectors as well as to the users, which hinders economic growth, and creates distrust to in the users. Several attempts have been made to investigate the issues and solutions proffered using different approaches such as conventional measures, machine learning, improved firewall security, probability, etc. However, detecting and preventing ATM card frauds has proven to be difficult in both data collection and fraud investigation for the following reasons: there is a shortage of knowledge concerning the access point where ATM fraud is committed and given its infrequency and parallel nature most conventional investigators lack the experience to detect it. The aim of this research work is to develop a high performance intelligent agent-based model for detection of ATM card frauds. Basically, the model involves 3-factor authentication process to determine if a user should be granted access or otherwise, deny access to a bank ATM, these includes;Password module, AI-Agent spending patter detection and lastly Biometric modules authentication. Logistic regression, SVM and KNN machine learning methodology were applied to historical log files of the ATM cards usage patterns to devise an intelligent data mining classification model. This model was evaluated using confusion matrix with the dataset from the bank. Its effectiveness was ascertained as the accuracy of K Nearness Neighbor (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Logistic regression are 93%, 89% and 96% and precision 73%, 98% and 80% respectively. This will help immensely in providing a way forward in curbing the high rate of ATM card fraud in banking sector. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

The paper explores a high-precision positioning system of offshore wind turbine installation vessels (OWTIVs). A finite-time disturbance observer (FTDO) is developed to assess the multi-source disturbances that actually exist. To achieve precise positioning of the OWTIV while minimizing communication burden and reducing actuator operation frequency, an adaptive command-filtered backstepping (CFB) approach is proposed, integrated with an event-triggered mechanism. Using Lyapunov stability theory, the study demonstrates that all signals within the control system are ultimately bounded in a uniform manner. Finally, simulations are provided to authenticate the success of the suggested control strategies. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
