Fruit and Vegetable Recognition with Calorie Estimation based on Mobilenetv2 is a pioneering research endeavor aimed at leveraging deep learning techniques to enhance dietary monitoring and health management. Building upon the success of neural network models in various domains, this study explores the application of Mobilenetv2 and EfficientNet architecture for accurately identifying fruits and vegetables from images and estimating their respective caloric content. The research dataset comprises meticulously curated images of diverse fruits and vegetables, ensuring comprehensive coverage across different categories. Through rigorous experimentation and evaluation, the proposed model demonstrates remarkable accuracy in fruit and vegetable recognition, achieving an impressive accuracy rate of 97.6%. Moreover, the incorporation of calorie estimation adds a novel dimension to dietary analysis, enabling users to make informed decisions regarding their nutritional intake. The findings of this research not only contribute to the advancement of computer vision techniques but also hold significant implications for personalized nutrition tracking and health- conscious applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Ocean energy is inexhaustible clean energy. Ocean energy is diverse, mainly including wave energy, tidal energy, tidal energy and temperature difference energy. The use of marine energy for power generation can improve the energy structure and environment, and is conducive to the development of marine resources, which has attracted the attention of many countries. The study of Oceanography mainly relies on numerical simulation and direct ocean observation. The data assimilation method is an important means to effectively combine multi-source atmospheric and oceanic observations and numerical prediction models. Combining these two methods can better predict changes in the marine environment, which is beneficial to the development and utilization of ocean energy. In this paper, the equal weight particle filter data assimilation method is studied, and the dependence of traditional particle filter methods on future observations is analyzed. An equal weight particle filter assimilation method based on Kalman proposal density is given. © 2023 IEEE.

The cruise phase of deep space exploration is one of the important stages of the small body exploration mission, and the autonomous navigation accuracy of the cruise phase will also be of great significance to the successful implementation of the subsequent small body exploration mission. Because the probe needs to determine its own state independently in the detection process, the calculation burden is large, so it is difficult to effectively achieve high navigation accuracy and meet the detection requirements. In response to the above problems, this paper constructs the autonomous navigation system model of the cruise phase of the deep space probe, analyzes the observability conditions of the system combined with the observability theory, and gives the quantitative index of autonomous navigation accuracy, so as to select the optimal combination of observation targets to make the navigation accuracy maximum. Finally, the small body detection is used as the background for simulation verification, and the simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a teleoperated welding robot system developed utilizing virtual reality technology, designed to provide a safe and convenient platform for remote operations to assist welding personnel. The system allows operators to remotely plan and control welding tasks within a high-risk environment through 3D reconstructed welding scenes. It features seamless switching between two operational modes: Path Planning Mode and Teleoperated Welding Mode. In both modes, operators are able to fully observe and control the welding robot and its end effector from a third-person perspective across the virtual reconstructed environment, thereby achieving precise and efficient welding operations. This teleoperation system not only enhances the flexibility of welding operations but also significantly improves job safety. Copyright held by the owner/author(s). In this paper, an adaptive reduced fuzzy decoupling controller is developed for a lower limb rehabilitation exoskeleton robot (2-DOF) in the case of uncertainties. With decoupled control, the initial overall MIMO system is separated into a set of individual MISO subsystems for independent control. A simplified adaptive fuzzy is proposed to reduce computation time, addressing the issues of traditional fuzzy systems. The controller has good control quality, tracking the human gait motion trajectory with uncertainty. Simulation results show that the proposed controller performs better than the traditional fuzzy controller. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Micro areal vehicles are widely used in civilian and military applications, but it is still challenging for them to take off in place with both high speed and energy utilization efficiency. Inspired by locusts, one solution is to integrate the flying with the jumping motion, utilizing the speed generated by jumping to provide sufficient aerodynamic forces for the flight. In this paper, we develop a miniature locust-inspired robot capable of jumping and flying. By coupling the jumpingleg mechanism and flapping-wing mechanism, the robot has a compacted size (with a body length of 15 cm and a weight of 23 g). Furthermore, we design a cascaded jump-flying controller to achieve stable transition and maneuverable flight. A series of experimental results reveal that the robot achieves a maximum jumping height of 50 cm and a minimum flying turning radius of 0.8 m. Remarkably, the robot is capable of taking off in place through controlling the hindleg and wings coordinately. © 2024 IEEE.

The Janus Problem is a common issue in SDS-based text-to-3D methods. Due to view encoding approach and 2D diffusion prior guidance, the 3D representation model tends to learn content with higher certainty from each perspective, leading to view inconsistency. In this work, we first model and analyze the problem, visualizing the specific causes of the Janus Problem, which are associated with discrete view encoding and shared priors in 2D lifting. Based on this, we further propose the LCGen method, which guides text-to-3D to obtain different priors with different certainty from various viewpoints, aiding in view-consistent generation. Experiments have proven that our LCGen method can be directly applied to different SDS-based text-to-3D methods, alleviating the Janus Problem without introducing additional information, increasing excessive training burden, or compromising the generation effect. Cost, Energy, and Speed are some key important factors for all electronic circuits. We are trying to optimise these parameters in all electronic circuits. In the new era, the lower technology helps to reduce many problems in the area. Now the technology is at its peak. So coming up with a different algorithm for a design that reduces the power and delay will be effective in the market. Speed and power vary in importance according to the application. Multiplier is an important design for creating DSP, Filter, and MAC units. Creating a multiplier design that improves APD (Area, Power, Delay) will enhance the top-level logic performance. This paper compares and analyses the conventional multiplier, Vedic multiplier, and Wallace multiplier for 8,16, and 32-bit operations. The Vedic multiplier and Wallace multiplier provide a comparably equal performance. Even though the conventional multiplier provides a tight layout and easy implementation Wallace multiplier improves the power by more than 50% and delays considerably. Leveraging Verilog code, we simulate and synthesize the designs using Xilinx's Artix-7 AC701 Evaluation Platform. © 2024 IEEE.

The meal type, calorie count, and weight are all estimated using a smartphone app. The created software classifies the user as underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese based on many medical criteria like BMI, etc. The software also sorts foods according to their GI. The software estimates the user's weight and caloric intake using cloud-based ML. Eating recommendations for optimal nutritional management is another area the app will expand its utility for. The recommendations will take into account a number of underreported dietary characteristics, such as body mass index (BMI), age, sex, food type, eating habits, etc. This study will not only help medical experts make correct diagnoses, but the technology will also be able to supply individuals with self-eating instructions. In areas where healthcare equipment is lacking and expertise is few, this breakthrough will provide a significant answer for the pharmaceutical and wellness sectors. Dietary management programs will also find this product useful for demonstrations and lessons. Reliable scientific tracking of intake categorisation systems by food chews event identification in the portable context is a medically important aspect of this work. The suggested AdaBoost with Random Forest approach achieves much higher accuracy than the other methods when compared to their respective performances. J48-DT delivers good results, KNN improves accuracy, and Naive Bayes performs adequately. The suggested strategy, on the other hand, has an astounding 94.1% accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapid development of Internet technology, the design and application of smart classrooms has become one of the hot research topics in the field of educational technology. It is also a focus of many national governments, enterprises, scientific research institutes and educational researchers. In order to explore the research hot spots and development trends of smart classrooms, this article collects documents from the Web of science database in this field from 2000 to 2024, and conducts visual analysis through knowledge and methods related to knowledge map combined with CiteSpace software. From the aspects of year distribution of paper, author and institutional cooperation, keyword co-occurrence analysis and cluster analysis, we sort out the research overview and research hotspots of smart classrooms. This paper summarizes existing research results, explores issues and directions worthy of attention by future researchers to provide reference for subsequent research and development in this field. © 2024 IEEE.
