Educational robotics is to improve children's and teenagers' skill and competency development via the use of electronic components and robots in an interdisciplinary learning environment. It focuses mostly on the STEAM fields, while it can also touch on subjects like geography, history, and languages. STEAM education relates these 5 subjects those are science, technology, engineering, Arts and Mathematics. The capacity to which children could interact with a social robot in a novel learning environment is being studied. A method for measuring how actively children with learning difficulties participate in adequately prepared activities is described, utilizing multimodal machine learning. The goal is to find the child's sustained attention throughout the conversation. To achieve this goal, visual and aural data are recorded between the kid and the robot. Education robots for kids are emerging as tools for learning which can enhance young children's early reading and language skills considering recent technical developments. Social robots are those that can interact with humans on a mental and social level. The most recent studies on social robots and how typically developing kids, aged 0 to 8, pick up early language and literacy abilities have been examined. For the entirety of the study, five main themes were identified. Our designed robot TINY, a theoretical foundation for social robotic education, which stands for Teach, Inspire, Nurture, and Yield. Research has shown that social robots can facilitate early language acquisition, a thorough study has been done on the formation of early reading abilities. Additionally, our robot explores the potential of low-cost support for early language acquisition and literacy development, aiming to provide access to high-quality educational tools for all students. © 2024 IEEE.

Currently, one of the most crucial jobs in information security is malware detection. Since hackers are always coming up with new ways to break into computer networks and systems, it's critical to have a reliable system in place to detect and prevent any unwanted activity. Traditional antivirus software frequently misses new viruses or malware, leaving your computer open to intrusion and important data theft. It is necessary to create a new method to detect the malware. In this paper used the Enhanced Gradient Boosting method to detect the malware. It is employed to verify the outcomes of analysis and enhance the precision of detection. The implementation of the suggested method enables the identification of malicious software with a precision ranging from 98.1%, indicating a significantly high level of accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents the design, simulation and implementation of a Fractal antenna of the Koch fractal star, developed with respect to the 4th iteration at 2.4 GHz. The paper employs coaxial feed for the design. The entire antenna dimensions will be approximately (5cm x 5cm). The substrate used is FR4 (flame retardant) epoxy. The simulation and fabrication of the antenna's measurements demonstrate good agreement for the operating frequencies and desirable performance in gain, bandwidth and VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) parameters. The VSWR achieved values was lower than 1.4 for the frequencies used. Additionally, the simulations portray a broad radiation pattern and shows good gain and directivity. The fabrication and testing were done using an Anechoic Chamber and network analyser. We have chosen the Koch fractal because of its ability to operate at the specified frequency range mentioned above. Moreover, we can also compare the antenna performance for all the iterations. The application we're intrigued by is for wearables in the medical telemetry sector due its small size. We will be utilizing Arduino UNO microcontroller and NRF24L01 Trans receiver module to transmitting and receiving temperature and pulse readings from the sensors © 2023 IEEE.

A pothole is a significant disadvantage in the roadways, resulting from depressions formed due to the improper quality of road materials and external conditions, such as extreme weather forces and the heavy vehicles passing over them. This leads to soil erosion beneath the road surface. Potholes are responsible for various damages including punctures, wheel damages, dents on vehicles, damage to the vehicle floor, collisions, and even severe accidents. The number of deaths and injuries stands at 1481 and 3103 respectively. Therefore, accurate and fast pothole detection is crucial for improving ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems). Hence, this proposed study aims to overcome this major issue by implementing the YOLOv8 algorithm to detect the potholes present on the roads, which has the highest accuracy level of 98.18 percent, compared to existing algorithms. The study under consideration includes a comparison with the YOLOv5 algorithm, and the results demonstrate that the proposed approach outperforms the current method. © 2024 IEEE.

The purpose of wound segmentation is to accurately identify and delineate wound areas in images, enabling precise analysis of metrics like size, shape, and spread. This aids healthcare professionals in assessing wound severity and monitoring treatment progress. This research focuses on developing an automated wound image segmentation tool using the Deep learning Algorithms. The objective is to enhance wound assessment accuracy by precisely identifying and segmenting wound areas in digital images. Three models are employed to find the effectiveness in segmenting the wound which includes U- Net, DeepLabV3+ and Mask-CNN. The deep learning models are trained on a massive dataset of wound pictures and masks;they then provide segmented outputs, which are examined for wound characteristics and severity. The U-Net model has obtained better performance in segmenting the wound with an accuracy of 92.3%. This work seeks to incorporate advanced capabilities into a user-friendly interface for practical use in clinical settings. Initial results demonstrate promising segmentation accuracy, with plans for further enhancements in future. © 2024 IEEE.

Quantum software is essential for fully harnessing the capabilities of quantum computing systems. Consequently, it has been garnering growing interest in recent times. This document provides a precise definition of the concept of 'quantum software engineering' and presents a comprehensive framework for the life cycle of quantum software. Given the interdisciplinary nature of quantum computing, it is essential to establish a shared understanding of the process for developing and implementing a quantum software application. At present, there isn't a complete methodology or lifecycle that covers every significant stage that could come up along the process of development and execution. That's why we provide the quantum software lifecycle in this document. With this paradigm, practitioners, developers, and scholars have a clear path forward for quantum computing. The provision of a methodical development roadmap for quantum- principles-based software encourages creativity in this quickly expanding subject. © 2024 IEEE.

During the speed increase rolling process of tandem cold rolling, applying precise additional tension can effectively suppress rolling force fluctuations, thereby improving the shape of the strip head and reducing thickness fluctuations, ultimately improving the quality of the strip. In order to solve the problem of low accuracy in applying additional tension through manual experience in industrial sites, which leads to excessive fluctuations in rolling force, this paper first proposes an additional tension compensation model, and then conducts theoretical calculations using the improved Multi Group Differential Evolution Particle Swarm Optimization (Imp-PSODE) algorithm. The results show that the optimized additional tension value of the algorithm can accurately reduce rolling force deviation. Industrial practice has shown that compared with the original method, this research can effectively improve the phenomenon of large head shape quality and thickness deviation. © 2024 IEEE.

The three-phase load imbalance and asymmetric parameters in the low-voltage distribution network result in a certain degree of three-phase imbalance. The integration of single-phase distributed photovoltaics further exacerbates the imbalance and voltage violation risks. To address the issues of three-phase imbalance and voltage violation caused by distributed photovoltaic integration in low-voltage distribution networks, this paper investigates a method that combines intelligent reactive power compensators and DSTATCOM for control. The article first introduces the principle of voltage violation under photovoltaic integration. Then, it analyzes the balancing compensation principles of intelligent reactive power compensators and DSTATCOM, and proposes a suitable topology and control strategy for DSTATCOM integration in low-voltage distribution networks based on the characteristics of the distribution network structure. Finally, a simulation model is built in Matlab/Simulink, and the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control technology effectively resolves the three-phase imbalance issues caused by distributed photovoltaic integration in low-voltage distribution networks. © 2023 IEEE.

Learning from Demonstration (LfD) is a highly promising strategy in robotics technology, paving the way for robots to master and generalize human-like skills. Despite significant progress in the convergence and robustness of LfD trajectory planning in response to target point changes, these explorations are mostly limited to idealized simulation environments. They test algorithm performance by artificially adjusting target points, lacking the autonomy and intelligence demonstrated in real-world scenarios. Therefore, this paper proposes a visual-assisted autonomous adjustment method for demonstration trajectories. The method aims to enable robots to autonomously adjust according to the trajectory patterns demonstrated by humans and accurately reach new target points. For tasks with similar operational trajectories, humans only need to demonstrate once without the need for further intervention or secondary programming. We have conducted physical experiments on the Doosan robot platform, which demonstrates the high practical value of the robot in executing scenarios with similar task goals but variable specific conditions. © 2024 IEEE.
