This study proposes methods that can be used to examine and interpret comments that users have made after watching videos on YouTube on a particular topic. YouTube tutorials are very popular among young people. They have become an important pillar in informal education, thus contributing to the rapid acquisition of skills and knowledge. Under these circumstances, we were interested in analysing the YouTube videos comments, knowing that the platform has a continuous increase in popularity, which is also due to the opportunities of sharing them. Since ChatGPT-themed YouTube videos have seen a significant surge in popularity since 2022, we were interested to analyse some videos that approach the topics of 'ChatGPT, AI clone, AI robot and Deep Learning.' © 2024 IEEE.

Parkinson's disease, a neurodegenerative disorder, affects millions of people worldwide. Early detection is critical for effective treatment and management. Early detection of Parkinson's disease is challenging due to the lack of accessible and non-invasive screening methods. Current diagnostic techniques often require specialized equipment and invasive procedures, limiting their feasibility for widespread screening. There is a need for cost-effective and accessible approaches that can accurately detect early stages of Parkinson's disease. The model requires a high degree of precision in distinguishing between these patterns, which is a significant challenge to overcome. In this research work, we proposed a novel approach for detecting early stages of Parkinson's disease by analyzing hand-drawn spirals and waves in photographs. © 2023 IEEE.

Numerous individual have perished as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has also had devastating effects on the globe's social, cultural, economic, and wellness domains. Managing a pandemic requires thorough understanding of its characteristics and behaviour, which may be learned by collecting and assessing pertinent data. Correct data availability is critical for gaining the knowledge needed to make choices and take preventative actions. As a result, this work highlights the importance of data in the field of COVID-19. Approaches used to collect the data of this pandemic are presented in this study. Furthermore, this paper highlights the challenges posed while collecting COVID-19 data. Also, various biomedical information databases available are presented. © 2023 IEEE.

Accidents on railroad tracks continue even with human inspections, which are often inaccurate and can lead to serious incidents. While artificial intelligence has found use in the railway sector, computer vision-based defect diagnosis has received less academic attention. In India and across the world, train travel is the most popular form of transportation because to its reasonable prices and comfortable accommodations for travelers. India possesses one of the largest rail networks globally, and it bears primary responsibility for maintaining these lines in excellent condition. One aspect of the maintenance job includes locating different types of track problems and putting corrective procedures in place for those that are found. This study uses novel data-driven approaches to identify railway track issues utilizing three object recognition models (Yolo series, RCNN, OpenCV, etc.). By detecting fractures, misalignment, loose fasteners, deterioration, and other issues, this model helps reduce incidents involving railway tracks. © 2024 IEEE.

Open-source hardware are designs that are publicly available for anyone to modify, distribute, make, or sell. Open-source software is source code that anyone can access, inspect, modify, improve, and distribute. Open-source robotics builds upon the principles of open-source software and open-source hardware. The Open-Source Hardware Association (OSHWA) has a goal to encourage research and foster technical knowledge by making it more accessible and collaborative. The 'robotics for the Streets' project has a goal to expand open-source hardware in academia by documenting how to use it for service, teaching and research by making a library of resources for others to follow. There is a secondary goal of diversifying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by using open-source robotics to increase access to and visibility of STEM technology for marginalized, minoritized, and under-resourced communities. This paper will describe the design, creation and dissemination of the open-source mobile robot platform, Flower∞Bots. Flower∞Bots consist of three robots at the novice, intermediate, and expert levels including Lily∞Bot, Daisy∞Bot and Rosie∞Bot, respectively. These robots have the flexibility and modularity for modification based upon the user's needs. The benefits of this platform include the ability to be appropriate for any level and used for a variety of use cases. This research project is a unique, novel, and innovative practice for engineering education and research because it encourages diverse perspectives and voices to contribute to the creation and improvement of technology. It was hypothesized that this educational robotics platform will serve as a model and pathway for teachers, professors, practitioners, and STEM enthusiasts, with limited resources to engage in robotics outreach, teaching, and research. The platform and guidebook will enable teachers and academics to meet their professional development goals at a low cost. © 2023 IEEE.

Extensive research on the penetration damage caused by warheads has revealed limitations in studies that focus solely on a single geological material or concrete medium, as well as those that only evaluate penetration depth. Such approaches fail to adequately capture the damage inflicted by explosions and shock waves on underground tunnel engineering. To address these shortcomings and fulfill the need for accurate damage prediction in scenarios where underground engineering is impacted by warheads, this paper proposes a novel prediction approach based on an adaptive fuzzy neural network system. This system integrates penetration damage and shock wave overpressure damage to predict the overall level of damage to underground structures caused by various warheads, including ground-penetrating bombs. By employing the target vulnerability and warhead power stratification method, this research evaluates the degree of damage inflicted. The adaptive fuzzy neural network is utilized to predict potential damage to crucial elements within tunnel engineering, such as protective systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Given the potential of bin picking to eliminate manual handing practices in manufacturing and logistics industries, this paper presents an environment-based grasp planning pipeline to address the challenges posed by complex object arrangements in cluttered environments. The pipeline integrates offline grasp planning system with online grasp filter, designed specifically for multi-object cluttered bin picking tasks. In the offline phase, the pipeline utilizes the improved Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to generate the grasp solutions by incorporating gripper and object models. In the online phase, the system considers grasp and robot kinematics to prioritize objects and determine the best grasp based on the grasp task scene model and the precomputed solutions from the offline phase. The proposed pipeline is validated through both simulated and experimental trials using the Franka Emika Panda robotic arm. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the pipeline in handling multi-object cluttered bin picking tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

Frictional heating, produced due to friction between contacting elements in a relative sliding motion, is the result of the transformation of mechanical energy into internal energy. Frictional heating raises contact surface temperature (CST) that may lead to the formation of oxides, thermo-elastic instabilities, thermomechanical failure, and wear. The exact mechanism of frictional energy dissipation is still under research due to the complexity of the contact geometry. The purpose of the present study is to determine the average CST by using a simplified mathematical model based on steady-state temperature distribution. The study first estimates flash temperature generation for a deformed asperity by considering asperity stiffness on strain energy approach during sliding. The mathematical model presented here is a steady-state equation of the heat flow through the pin and achieving its solution in a reverse manner by using computer programming to calculate the average CST. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Our Internet of Things (IoT)-based Railway Track Security System is a cutting-edge solution to increasing issues on train accidents and animal deaths on railway lines. The real-time animal identification and alerts accomplished with the help of Artificial Intelligence powered cameras and Python algorithms by system. It ensures prompt notifications to approaching trains and nearby train stations with the help of Long-Range (LoRa) communication, allowing for proactive responses to potential threats. Based on Python programming, the system' s architecture ensures a robust and flexible backend. This system allows for seamless integration with the current rail system and for future enhancements. As a proactive and efficient solution, our technology enhances track safety, lowers accident rates, and safeguards the lives of people and animals on railroad tracks. © 2024 IEEE.

In the viewpoint planning task for unknown objects, the accuracy of the perception system and calibration lead to the collected point cloud data containing numerous noise and stratification, which interferes with the viewpoint planning *** address the above problems, this paper proposes a method to enhance the robustness of viewpoint planning based on spatial ***, the spatial voxel environment is constructed to store the triangular meshed point cloud containing noise, which is used to record the positional distribution information of the point cloud in space;then, the voxels containing the point cloud are neighborhood-grown to form a Supervoxel unit, which expands the receptive field;And finally, the point cloud boundaries are detected and categorized using spatial Supervoxel, which are used to guide viewpoint *** verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, this paper develops a robot perception system, uses an aircraft radome as the experimental object and introduces varying levels of system errors for the viewpoint planning *** experimental results indicate that the proposed method can accurately detect and classify point cloud boundaries to guide viewpoint planning, achieving complete surface reconstruction of unknown objects, even in the presence of a certain degree of noise in the perception system. The overall modeling time is approximately 7 minutes, demonstrating strong robustness and real-time performance. © 2024 IEEE.
