This article examines the security and privacy concerns associated with the integration of blockchain technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) in communication systems. As the IoT continues to grow and evolve, there is an increasing need to ensure the security and privacy of the vast amounts of data generated and exchanged between connected devices. Blockchain technology offers promising solutions for enhancing security and privacy in communication systems;however, it also presents its own set of challenges and vulnerabilities. This article explores the existing literature on the topic and analyzes the materials and methods used in previous studies. The results and discussions delve into the key security and privacy concerns in communication systems with blockchain and IoT, including data integrity, authentication, and confidentiality, scalability, and consensus mechanisms. Finally, the article concludes with recommendations and future directions for addressing these concerns and advancing the security and privacy of communication systems in the context of blockchain technology and the IoT. © 2023 IEEE.

Patent recommendation service has become a major demand of all walks of life in the society. Patent data collection and analysis can not only help enterprises grasp the development status of the industry, but also provide decision support for them in the research and development process of science and technology services. In view of the problem of inaccurate patent recommendation caused by the inconsistency between the search text and the patent text length and the low accuracy of traditional patent recommendation, a word and sentence dual processing model based on Transformer encoder and regularization strategy is proposed to complete the patent recommendation task from the level of sentence granularity and word granularity. The sentence granularity feature extraction module uses the transformer encoder superimposed multi-head attention method to obtain the feature information between the sentence vector groups, so that the sentence vector fuses the feature information of each sentence, and solves the problem of low recommendation accuracy caused by the inconsistent length of the patent text and the search text;The word granularity feature extraction module uses the twin network model to extract the feature information of the sentence granularity vector using the Transformer encoder using the double splicing operation, improve the model performance and model accuracy;Introduce a strategy based on Dropout and symmetric JS divergence regularization, improve the model generalization ability and accuracy. Experiments have proved that it outperforms SBERT, BERT, MGMSN and SVM models in terms of performance. © 2024 IEEE.

The automobile transmission box has a complex structure and many features. To improve the design efficiency of automobile transmission, shorten the production cycle and meet the personalized requirements of products, the rapid variation of automobile transmission was studied, and a method of rapid variation of automobile transmission based on feature modularization was proposed. This method introduces the idea of feature modularization, modularizes the model features, then builds the transmission variation template based on the construction of the module sketch, combines it with the relevant software modeling methods, and finally builds the transmission rapid variation platform with the NX secondary development technology. The effectiveness and reliability of this method are verified by a concrete example. © 2023 SPIE.

This study aims to examine the relation between Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) and Modern Dating Applications. With an increasing number of young adults taking refuge in using such Dating Applications due to social anxiety they might be nudged into depression and a feeling of loneliness due to the design of these applications. This in turn is the reason to give rise to an increase in social anxiety among these individuals, creating a vicious cycle. The study is based on surveys consisting of several young adults. © 2023 IEEE.

The Cantor alloy has emerged as one of the most promising alloy systems in recent years, distinguishing itself as a high-entropy alloy (HEA) with exceptional ductility and fracture toughness. This study focuses on equiatomic CoCrFeMnNi, CoCrFeMnNiAl, and CoCrFeMnNiTi HEA, aiming to explore the impact of aluminium (Al) and titanium (Ti) as an alloying element on their structure. These HEAs were fabricated using casting techniques, and their phase transformation was analyzed through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). Hardness values were determined via Vickers hardness tests. The findings reveal that Al and Ti significantly influence the solidification process and grain growth kinetics of the alloy. These alterations in microstructure contribute to a notable enhancement in hardness, increasing from 1.8 GPa to 4.9 GPa and 9.3 GPa respectively. This improvement primarily stems from phase transformation of FCC to BCC structure. © 2024 The Authors.

This article proposes the issue of the helicopter altitude attitude systems with output constraints under stochastic fault factors. The fault factors are described by the switching systems with Markov jump parameters, which enable actuators to operate in different fault modes. Neural networks techniques are used to deal with uncertain inputs triggered by actuator faults. The random fault-tolerant controller is developed for helicopter systems based on the backstepping approach, allowing the control of continuous systems with discrete switching signals. Then, output state constraints are enforced using the barrier Lyapunov function and the tracking errors are proved remain within reasonable bounds via the Lyapunov stability method. Simulation results indicate that the control scheme can maintain the helicopter flight tracking performance under stochastic fault conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

In text augmentation in the field of natural language processing, it has been observed that most of the traditional methods often result in only minimal changes to the original text, which consequently limits the diversity of the augmented samples. In this paper, a novel text augmentation method based on Dual Diversity Generation is proposed, which effectively addresses the aforementioned limitation through two key components: keyword diversity and sample diversity. Initially, a sketch is constructed through keyphrase extraction, which is subsequently input into the text augmentation model for the generation of new samples. To mitigate the semantic overlap among the extracted keyphrases, keyphrase diversity is incorporated into the extraction process. Furthermore, sample diversity is emphasized during the generation phase to enhance the overall quality of the text augmentation. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by text classification effect, and the experimental results indicate that the proposed method achieves significant improvements compared to other methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Emotions, intrinsic to the human experience, serve as the catalyst for a groundbreaking technological innovation in multiclass emotion recognition through facial expressions. This study introduces a revolutionary system that harnesses advanced deep learning techniques, specifically Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), to unravel the intricate interplay between emotions and cutting-edge technology. Commencing with a nuanced exploration of the evolutionary origins of emotions, the research lays a robust foundation for understanding the neural mechanisms behind emotional responses. The proposed algorithm unfolds in two pivotal stages: a meticulously designed CNN extracts intricate features from raw facial images, capturing nuanced expressions, while an adaptive RNN establishes temporal dependencies between sequential frames, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic nature of emotional states. To address real world challenges, an innovative illuminating module is seamlessly integrated, accounting for contextual factors such as lighting conditions. Empirical evaluations on benchmark datasets underscore the system's exceptional accuracy, achieving an impressive 87.2% accuracy post hyperparameter tuning, surpassing state-of-the-art methods. This transformative method not only precisely captures static facial features but dynamically interprets evolving emotional expressions in real-time, marking a paradigm shift in the field of emotion recognition. Beyond its technical achievements, the proposed system holds profound implications across psychology, human-computer interaction, and market research, positioning itself as a pioneering force in the evolving landscape of emotion-centric technologies. © 2024 IEEE.

Amidst the escalating challenges posed by climate change and global warming, the imperative for sustainable energy solution is paramount. The widespread deployment of solar panels for renewable energy generation has ushered in a new era of sustainable power. However, the pursuit of maximizing solar energy efficiency encounters a formidable obstacle - the need to maintain impeccably clean solar panels. Dust, dirt, and environmental pollutants accumulate, hampering solar panel effectiveness and resulting in a decline in energy output. In response, this project addresses the problem through the development of Solar-Shine, a semi-automated solar panel cleaning robot. Equipped with dual mode switch, it seamlessly transitions between manual and automatic modes. The incorporation of microfiber technology replaces conventional brushes, enhancing cleaning precision and sustainability. Additionally, a water sprayer mechanism, coupled with an onboard water tank, ensures thorough cleansing of solar panels. The robot operates remotely, minimizing risks to workers and offering wireless control for optimal safety. While designed primarily for large scale solar power plants, its versatility extends to various settings, including residential and commercial rooftop solar panels. The integration of robotics into solar maintenance represents an innovative solution for the renewable energy sector, enhancing the sustainability and reliability of solar power systems. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

Traffic prediction plays a vital role in urban transportation systems for effective traffic management, congestion mitigation, and resource allocation. Traditional approaches often overlook the heterogeneity and complexities of real-world traffic systems. In this paper, we propose a novel approach, Sparse Heterogeneous Grid Traffic Prediction with Cross-Adaptive Multi-Graph Attention, which leverages graph neural networks (GNNs) to capture the intricate dependencies among road segments within a sparse and heterogeneous grid framework. The proposed model incorporates cross-adaptive multi-graph attention mechanisms to adaptively capture the varying influences and correlations among different road segments. Real-world traffic datasets are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed model against baseline methods. The results demonstrate the superiority of our approach in terms of prediction accuracy, robustness, and adaptability. The findings from this study contribute to the advancement of intelligent transportation systems and pave the way for more efficient and sustainable urban transportation networks. © 2023 SPIE.
