This research seeks to tackle the essential issue of fraud detection in view of the increasing challenges presented by the changing landscape of online transactions, particularly inside the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The research deviates from the usual methods used in this field and adopts a fresh approach by using Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) as an advanced instrument for detecting fraudulent financial transactions. This break with tradition shows that people have now come to terms with the fact that traditional methods have their limits and that CNN and RNN have something special to convey. By applying the algorithm in UPI transaction dataset, we segregate the fraud and legitimate transaction. To evaluate the proposed approach, we applied the test data on confusion matrix and got the True Positive Rate (TPR) is 87.5%, and the False Positive Rate (FPR) is 13.4%. © 2024 IEEE.

Quadrupeded robot control is in an indoor or outdoor environment is an important research area for human-robot collaboration (HRC). This paper introduces a novel method for real-time human pose recognition tailored for controlling quadruped mobile robots in indoor environments (). We propose an integrated system based on Yolov5, OpenPose, and DeepSORT tracking algorithm. This system is able to accrurately recognize human postures, which is crucial for human pose recognition in. By leveraging vision-based posture detection, our system establishes a robust, non-verbal communication channel that enhances the collaboration between humans and robots. This innovative method highlights the potential of posture-based controls in enhancing the adaptability and intuitiveness of human-robot interactions. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents the developments of the Erasmus+ project Ethical Engineer: Integrating teaching ethics in artificial intelligence and robotics into engineering Education. The Ethical Engineer project goal is to enhance AI education by promoting truthful AI in Europe, with authentic ethical, social, and legal aspects in engineering education and training. We focus on engineering and robotics students on university level. In general, ethics in engineering education today is multifaceted, reflecting the complexity and global impact of the engineering profession. By integrating ethics into every aspect of engineering education, from classroom learning to professional development, engineering programs will graduate not just skilled engineers, but responsible, ethical professionals committed to the greater society. The project brings together a diverse mix of participating organizations that complement each other in terms of expertise, experience, and perspectives. The consortium consists of universities with a strong academic foundation with advanced knowledge in AI, robotics, and data science, as well as access to cutting-edge research and innovation. The organization of engineering education facilitate the exchange of best practices, ideas, and resources among their member institutions, broadening the project's results and impact. This collaboration is further enhanced by the practical industry experience and insights on AI ethics by professional company partners. We describe the goals of this project and give a case example of how to include ethics in engineering education. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper aims to report the improved method for surface area increase (S-ratio) measurement that is used for controlling surface roughness of single-in-line package (SIP) leadframe. The background of this paper is from resin bleed out and delamination issues that were found in a production line, even the roughness was controlled by S-ratio. S-ratio surface roughness was rechecked and confirmed with the cross-section electron micrographs. The S-ratio results did not coincident to the cross-section leadframe surface topography. Therefore, S-ratio measurement method was revised and adjusted for improving measurement accuracy and precision. The S-ratio experiments were performed with 2 laser confocal microscope models from Olympus and Keyence. The measurement methods were varied with cross-hair center pad reference, magnification, and laser scan speed. In addition, stitching technique was tried to enlarge the measured area. The surface profile and S-ratio results showed that the precise and accurate S-ratio can be evaluated even by Olympus or Keyence with fine scan mode at 100X with cross-hair center pad reference. Moreover, S-ratio from stitching mode can be used to enlarge the analysis area. © 2024 IEEE.

This study presents the development of a control system for a bipedal 4-link robot, aimed at achieving stable standing posture and recovery from external disturbances. Initially focused on constructing a speed controller, the study shifted towards ensuring the robot's ability to stand stably, recognizing that without this foundation, speed control would be ineffective. The control system was developed using reinforcement learning (RL) methods, and a comprehensive reward system was integrated to penalize excessive joint velocities and proximity to joint limits while rewarding proper foot contact. Despite initial challenges in achieving the desired upright posture, modifications to the neural network's complexity and reward mechanisms successfully led to the attainment of the target stance. The findings highlight the existence of energy barrier in random exploration, and the significance of model complexity and reward design in robotic control. © 2024 IEEE.

Rapid technological advances have produced major disruption in the leather industry in recent decades. The research considers developments in the market, issues related to the environment, enhanced quality, historical viewpoints, and recent breakthroughs. The fundamental foundation is the historical context of leather manufacture. Traditional techniques, which are defined by human labor and artisanal skills, have increasingly been displaced by sophisticated technology. Early initiatives were the first to bring mechanization, which marked a shift in production paradigms. Automation and robotics innovations have further altered the industry all throughout time, having a significant influence on the labor force, improving productivity, and ensuring process accuracy. Furthermore, advancements in lab-grown leather provide promise for a time when animal-derived leather may not be necessary. The environmental consequences of technology breakthroughs are considerable. The implementation of sustainable methods has reduced the industry's total environmental effect. Initiatives to decrease trash and recycle have grown in popularity, strengthening the business's dedication to environmentally friendly practices. Furthermore, the leather industry is currently driven by technological innovation with the goal to meet stringent environmental regulations. Finally, technological advances have irreversibly altered the landscape that includes the leather industry. © 2024 IEEE.

Object tracking is a critical component of au-tonomous driving systems, enabling vehicles to understand and predict the movements of surrounding objects. In this paper, we propose an enhanced multi-object tracking framework that integrates transformer-based object detection and sensor fusion. Our approach includes transformer-based 2D detection, fusion and association using transformers, and transformer-based track management. We evaluate our method on the KITTI and nuScenes datasets, demonstrating the performance over baseline methods. © 2024 IEEE.

The Internet of Things, or IoT, is a relatively new Internet revolution that is being successfully adopted by the corporate, industrial, healthcare, and economic sectors as well as other areas of the modern information society. Specifically, IoT with artificial intelligence (AI) support improves a great deal the performance in a wide range of daily applications with a focus on automation systems, robotics, transportation, and business. Smart automation in the manufacturing sector is now possible thanks to the development of Industry 4.0. The BRDT algorithm is used in this work to track how much energy appliances and machinery use, forecast behaviour, and identifies unusual conduct. When the suggested system's efficiency is compared to current approaches, it provides an efficiency of 85%. The application of this technology raises a number of standardisation, security, resource planning, legal, and paradigm-shifting business challenge problems. The whole supply chain and all of its actors, from producers to end users, are crucial to the success or failure of Industry 4.0 deployment. © 2024 IEEE.
