Capturing market sentiments and supporting well-informed financial decision-making depend on the developing field of Financial Sentiment Analysis (FSA). Natural language processing (NLP) has made significant strides in comprehending and categorizing sentiment in intricate financial texts, especially with the use of Large Language Models (LLMs). The application of various LLMs, such as Bidirectional Encoder Representations form Transformers(BERT) and Financial BERT (FinBERT), as well as distilled models, such as DistilBERT and DistilRoBERTa, on a variety of financial datasets, including Financial Phrase Bank and LexisNexis news articles, was the main focus of this review article. highlighting different approaches such as model fine-tuning, zero-shot and few-shot learning, and prompt engineering. The study focuses on practical model predictions through a case study of sentimental analysis of cryptocurrencies. While FinBERT, a financial variant of BERT, exhibits high accuracy and robustness, other LLMs exhibit varying degrees of success based on the dataset and domain requirements. The analysis concentrates on the difficulties, compromises, and potential paths for improving LLMs for financial sentiment analysis. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper introduces Robotic Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (rCBT) as a novel approach to overcoming the limitations of traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in treating emotional and psychological issues. After a brief overview of CBT and its inherent challenges, this paper explores the innovative application of physical robots in therapy, building on the success of technology-based CBT methods that have effectively treated various mental health conditions. The proposed rCBT solution is a compact, portable, and cost-effective 3D-printed robot designed to aid individuals with anxiety or depression. This robot includes interactive features such as a diary, health questionnaires, daily mood monitoring, to-do lists, mindfulness exercises, and a crisis helpline, enabling users to track their emotional states and activities. These functions support healthcare professionals and users in identifying emotional patterns and triggers. The robot can monitor physiological signals like heart rate. This research aims to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of CBT, suggesting that rCBT could significantly broaden the therapy’s reach and improve mental health outcomes for a larger population. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

For monitoring and recognizing objects, thermal detection is crucial, particularly in sectors like the military. Typical imaging techniques employ light;thermal imaging uses heat signatures instead. This makes it possible to see clearly in completely dark, smoke-filled, and low-light conditions. The potential of deep learning, or artificial intelligence, in conjunction with thermal imaging technology, is increased by improving object recognition, tracking, and detection precision. When combined, this makes for a potent weapon that may be used for both offensive and defensive military operations, particularly when there is a possibility of hostage-taking, enemy troops being hidden, and risks being recognized. By utilizing YOLOv8 to enhance person identification in thermal photos, this research seeks to further human detection technology. We aim to create a more robust model for human detection in thermal images by a thorough comparison with conventional traditional human detection algorithms and previous iterations of YOLO. Our research advances security procedures, emergency response systems, and surveillance operations by showcasing the greater mAP achieving 96% mAP, efficiency, and dependability of YOLOv8. It is expected that the results of this research will increase the efficacy of security protocols, facilitate prompt emergency responses, and improve surveillance capabilities in a range of practical applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Cube connected networks are designed from the hypercube architecture which has attractive properties. Edges in the cube-connected networks depict the node-to-node communication amidst processors. M-Polynomials have got new dimensions from different architectures that proved themselves result oriented in the indices related to topology. This article focuses on the derivation of M-Polynomials and vertex and edge covering for the cube connected cycles of dimension n. This research paper delves into the complex world of deepfakes, investigating recent advances in the creation and identification of synthetic content. It is becoming more important to comprehend the complex threats that deepfake technology presents to the credibility of digital media. This study deep dives into deepfake creation methods. We examine the toolbox of content manipulators, starting with early image-based alterations and moving on to more modern audio and video synthesis. The research sheds light on the technologies that allow for the misleading creation of synthetic material that seems very *** survey investigates the developments in deepfake detection tactics which complements the investigation of production methods. It delves at the history of forensic methods and how they have been augmented by machine learning algorithms that can differentiate between real and fake content. Given the never-ending back-and-forth between creators and detectors, the study takes a close look at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of existing detection methods. The possible consequences for privacy, disinformation and society trust are illuminated as well as the ethical problems underlying deepfake technology. This paper presents a multi-loop PID controller design based on a disturbance observer approach. Feed-forward PID decoupling is used to reduce noise and disturbances. Here, simulation study has been carried in the presence of parametric perturbation/stochastic noise in order to exhibits the effectiveness of designed controller. From the simulation response, it is clearly observed that both loops are yielding good set-point tracking and adequate disturbance rejection performances. Further, a comprehensive performance analysis has been made to ensure the effectiveness of the designed controller. © 2023 IEEE.

Healthcare is essential for every individual in order to maintain a healthy and peaceful life. However, it is very difficult to have a doctor's consultation for every small health issue. So rather than consulting the doctor every time, it is better to use a medical chatbot for healthcare purposes for predicting the disease and for having the awareness of very basic details of the disease before the doctor's consultation. It not only reduces the cost of the consultation but also improves the medical knowledge of the user by means of a chatbot. The chatbot is a computer program which uses natural language to interact with the users and uses NLP techniques to identify the symptoms provided by the users. The proposed system uses the KNN model to predict the most probable diseases. It diagnoses the disease using the symptoms provided by the user which is taken as input. It also gives the list of most probable diseases and their probabilities based on the user-selected number of probable diseases he wants to know. Later on, it also provides a diet plan to the users based on their answers in order to control the disease up to some extent. © 2023 IEEE.

Expulsion is a familiar occurrence in the resistance spot welding process, which deteriorates the weld quality. Among various parameters, applied pressure significantly impacts in the expulsion of molten metal, which is undesirable. To understand the influence of electrode pressure on joint strength and mode of failure, thin sheets of Ti-6Al-4 V and SS316L are welded together in overlapped conditions using the RSW process at varying electrode pressure of 3, 4, 5, and 6 kg/cm2, keeping other parameters constant. Further, joint strength and mode of failure are investigated. The results showed that with an increase in electrode pressure to an optimum value, i.e., 3–5 kg/cm2, the strength of the weld joint is enhanced. In contrast, increasing electrode pressure beyond the optimum value leads to the expulsion of material, which restricts the nugget growth, leading to a reduction in joint strength. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Robot teleoperation gains great success in various situations, including chemical pollution rescue, disaster relief, and long-distance manipulation. In this article, we propose a virtual reality (VR) based robot teleoperation system to achieve more efficient and natural interaction with humans in different scenes. A user-friendly VR interface is designed to help users interact with a desktop scene using their hands efficiently and intuitively. To improve user experience and reduce workload, we simulate the process in the physics engine to help build a preview of the scene after manipulation in the virtual scene before execution. We conduct experiments with different users and compare our system with a direct control method across several teleoperation tasks. The user study demonstrates that the proposed system enables users to perform operations more instinctively with a lighter mental workload. Users can perform pick-and-place and object-stacking tasks in a considerably short time, even for beginners. The power-amplifier is a crucial electronic unit in almost all millimeter wave and microwave systems, especially in transmitting devices and in almost all millimeter wave and microwave applications. It is a part of the radio frequency transmitter that uses the most power. The efficiency and linearity of the power amplifier changes as one moves between its various classes, increasing and decreasing correspondingly. An attempt is made to enhance the Doherty main power-amplifier (dual band) in this project. Using a GaAs HEMT transistor, the Doherty main power-amplifier is developed to work concurrently at 25 GHz and 27 GHz for Ka band applications. © 2023 IEEE.
