Wireless power transfer (WPT) system is one of important electric vehicles (EVs) charging methods. While, the receiving coil and converter of WPT increase the volume, cost and weight. This paper proposes an integrated WPT system using the components of on-board charger (OBC). The ac-side filtering inductor of OBC is shared as one inductor of LCC compensation topology for receiver. And LCC compensation topology can reduce the volume of receiving coil. To make the power density of integrated system higher, all the components of OBC are reused as the receiver converter of WPT. This paper introduces the topology of proposed system, on-board charging and wireless charging modes. Furthermore, bidirectional function can be achieved for two charging modes. Finally, the simulations are done, and the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed integrated charging system. © 2024 IEEE.

A full-scale prototype of a 3-DOF 4R-5R parallel mechanism for an wearable end-effector type upper limb assistive robot called as "WELiBot" is fabricated. Owing to its kinematic structure, it can assist user's upper limb in motions where generation of vertical force and constraint along/on certain geometries are required. EMG measurements were collected from a healthy person as a preliminary evaluation prior to clinical trials with hemiplegic patients. Muscle activities of the person's upper limb were measured for the cases with and without assistance, and the results were compared. The results show that when the robot assisted the arm raising motion, activity in specific muscles of the upper arm and forearm decreased significantly. This confirmed the effectiveness of the motion assistance by the robot. On the other hand, no decrease in activity was observed in the shoulder muscles.

Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), an aquatic free-floating plant, is highly invasive and can now be found in most freshwater bodies in the world's subtropical and tropical climates. Because of the potential harm these plants do to the environment and civilization, it is critical to track their seasonality and spatial distribution in order to develop effective prevention techniques at an early stage. With an emphasis on the application of machine learning algorithms and image analysis techniques for weed detection, this study investigates and examines the usage of artificial intelligence (AI) to overcome these difficulties. Sophisticated algorithms such as the Single Shot Detector (SSD) approach are used for real-time object detection, as well as the integration of machine learning techniques such as CART, RF, and SVM, CNN, and KNN helps for object detection. Modern advances in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) have shown promise in addressing issues related to the environmental challenges. This review examines prior studies, innovative methodologies, and case studies to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for future study and application for controlling the growth of water hyacinth. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's society, numerous individuals are experiencing physical disabilities caused by paralysis or accidents, resulting in a dependence on caregivers. Paralysis is characterized by the impairment of one or more muscles in the body, and microcontroller-based circuitry plays a crucial role in assisting these patients. In some cases, appliances are controlled by the patient's hand motion, while the system also monitors the patient's needs, heartbeat and temperature. When a paralysis attack occurs, the patient's body may be partially or fully immobilized, making communication challenging. This makes it difficult for medical staff to comprehend the patient's needs, such as eating, drinking, bathing, and other daily activities. This paper enables health officers to assist paralyzed patients by responding to messages sent via the GSM network. The paper includes several gesture sensor instructions to help health officers meet the needs of paralyzed patients. © 2024 IEEE.

Today it has become extremely critical for the business to utilize and safeguard the data(Enterprise data) in a proper way in order to achieve the organizational success which is in accordance with the digital environment. The objective of this paper is to analyze the paradigm change in the patterns from relying mainly on secure and scalable cloud storage solutions to handle evolving challenges encountered in data management. The shift from old stands on site in console to a cloud based storage system gives enterprises unlimited capacity not only is that but they also can scale accordingly and get the best security features. No sentiment was spared by the introductory abstract, which discussed the advantages to the end users of cloud storage, from its flexibility and accessibility to being cheaper than preserving data in conventional storage modes. On the other hand, abstract attracts the security in cloud storage, including encryption, access controls, and compliance certificates that help protect the information from a theft and other risks. The other topic that has been touched upon is scalability, which demonstrates how the cloud makes enterprises to be very adaptable to current storage requirements and enabling growth of storage that is astronomical in magnitude. Consequently, the poem abstract illustrates the essential functions of cloud storage as the technology that particularly empowers innovation through data science and use of analytics and artificial intelligence. This article demonstrates the need for organizations to implement a cloud standard purpose made for the storage of data and the harm of business in the digital age as a strategic priority amidst data management activities. © 2024 IEEE.

Using color fundus imaging to identify diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a tough process that requires skilled doctors to comprehend the existence and significance of certain small characteristics. This effort is further complicated by a complex categorization system. This research aims to use convolution neural network (CNN) to consistently diagnose diabetic retinopathy and grade patients into five groups or stages. An automatically generated diagnostic may be provided by a data-enhanced CNN architecture network that can identify the complex components involved in the class task, as well as exudates, hemorrhages, and micro-aneurysms in the retina, without requiring human input. This work trained CNN using data that was made accessible to the public. When compared to other algorithms on the same dataset, it demonstrated an astounding performance. It was used to the global dataset and obtained a great accuracy of 97% on the validation image. © 2024 IEEE.

Plant species classification holds immense importance across diverse sectors such as agriculture, environmental conservation, and botanical research. Accurate identification of plant species is fundamental for effective ecological management, agricultural practices, and biodiversity preservation. In this context, the research addresses the critical task of fine-grained plant classification, specifically emphasizing vegetable and fruit plants. Recognizing the significance of visual similarity analysis in plant sciences, a robust methodology leveraging Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) is introduced. The hybrid CNN model combines the interpretability of VGG16 with the gradient-stabilizing benefits of ResNet50's residual connections, enabling nuanced classification of 23 plant classes. Achieving an outstanding 99% accuracy in plant class prediction, the model is not only highly accurate but also interpretable. Additionally, the incorporation of cosine similarity enhances the robustness of the approach, facilitating a leaf similarity search application. This innovative feature strengthens the identification of visually similar plant images based on extracted features, significantly contributing to the advancement of plant species classification methodologies. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's era of ever connecting devices and exponential growth in the number of small networks in every digital workspace, security concerns are also growing rapidly. Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) is a well-known security environment to monitor, detect and prevent malicious activities, however the emerging threats and manually engineered threats and intrusion attempts may not be detected by traditional signature-based security systems. So, this project utilizes Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) to better understand the activity and the purpose of the packets and their data in the network to provide authentic security solutions which provides better detection rates in the face of novel and emerging threats. Further, this project also utilizes various Classification models in an ensemble voting scheme approach to perform the intrusion detection in the network. Deep Packet Inspection also provides more insights on the critical parameters to be included in the dataset to create more realistic data to perform better analysis in an optimal time. This approach to utilize DPI covers the downsides of traditional IDS while providing better detection of novel threats. © 2024 IEEE.
