Thanks to the current virtualization technology supporting live migration and data collection abilities, it also requires an end-to-end and automatic decision-making solution to simultaneously optimize multi-objects with multi-resources utilization. Therefore, it is necessary to study the global optimization issue by considering various factors such as resources, energy consumption, and balance to achieve the goal of energy and maintenance efficiency in a green cloud computing system. Edge computing has emerged as a powerful paradigm for Internet of Things (IoT) applications as it can provide computing and network services in close proximity to end devices. In an edge environment, leveraging container technology to package IoT applications offers significant benefits of flexibility and agility, while the incorporation of Kubernetes can effectively orchestrate large-scale containerized applications. However, the existing Kubernetes scheduling solutions mostly cannot satisfy IoT applications with stringent and diverse network, computing, and storage requirements, and they also lack the scalability to customize scheduling strategies. To address these, we develop an edge information-aware scheduler (EIS) based on the novel Kubernetes scheduling framework. EIS schedules containerized IoT applications by sensing the network topology and performance information of edge clusters. Moreover, EIS can make scheduling decisions according to application characteristics and resource requirements. By adopting a plug-in architecture, EIS not only provides an extensible programming interface, but is also compatible with Kubernetes' default scheduler. We evaluate EIS in a real-world experimental environment, and the results show that EIS can reduce network latency by 18%, improve computing performance up to 140% and improve I/O performance up to 130%. These improvements are critical for IoT applications to provide high quality of service.

The rapid advancement of Mobile Edge computing(MEC) technology has made it an indispensable part of fifth-generation(5G) network architecture. The flexibility and mobility of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) can effectively respond to rapidly changing user requirements in unexpected situations. To deal with the UAV-assisted offloading problem, there are currently two challenges to he solved, which are the command architecture relationship of UAV-assisted offloading and how to balance the number of clustering centers and the energy consumption of UAVs after user clustering. In this study, We propose innovatively improved path planning and user clustering algorithms to address the issue of large-scale user-assisted UAV offloading. This paper aims to propose a fuzzy PID controller based on quantum computing to enable the bipedal robot system to achieve autonomous balanced walking and obstacle avoidance. The hardware configuration of this system uses Arduino Mega 2560 as the main control board, and is equipped with an MPU-6050 gyroscope and a Pixy2.1 vision module to provide all the sensing data required for the bipedal robot to walk and avoid obstacles, and to obtain the robot location and environmental obstacle information in real time. The control strategy uses quantum computing to perform operations on the fuzzy PID controller to generate control commands so that the bipedal robot can achieve stable walking and obstacle avoidance. In addition, the study also compared the performance between quantum computing and traditional computing, thereby demonstrating the excellent performance of quantum computing in the control required for bipedal robots. Finally, this study verified the effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy PID controller for quantum computing through experiments in which the biped robot walked autonomously and balancedly on flat ground and narrow paths to avoid obstacles.
