Dynamic resource management is a difficult problem in modern microservice applications. Many proposed methods rely on the availability of an analytical performance model, often based on queueing theory. Such models can always be hand-crafted, but this takes time and requires expert knowledge. Various methods have been proposed that can automatically extract models from logs or tracing data. However, they are often intricate, requiring off-line stages and advanced algorithms for retrieving the service-time distributions. Furthermore, the resulting models can be complex and unsuitable for online evaluation. Aiming for simplicity, we in this paper introduce a general queuing network model for microservice applications that can be (i) quickly and accurately solved using a refined mean-field fluid model and (ii) completely extracted at runtime in a distributed fashion from common local tracing data at each service. The fit of the model and the prediction accuracies under system perturbations are evaluated in a cloud-based microservice application and are found to be accurate.

In order to solve the problems of insufficient population diversity and local optimization in path planning of underwater unmanned vehicle (AUV) in complex three-dimensional underwater environment, an improved Sparrow search algorithm (ICSSA) based on Sparrow search algorithm was proposed. Firstly, Fuch chaotic mapping was used to initialize sparrow population, generate new initial population, and improve its population quality. Secondly, sine-wave strategy was introduced to update sparrow follower position, expand the population search range, and integrate chaos optimization algorithm for perturbation to improve the global search capability of the algorithm. Finally, through the simulation test, the experimental results show that the improved Sparrow search algorithm with chaotic optimization algorithm has good results in both local search ability and global search ability.

The model-based safety analysis (MBSA) method is used to analyze the safety of a digital control system given the difficulty in using the traditional safety analysis method for aero-engine digital control system. Based on the traditional safety analysis method and combined with the characteristics of MBSA, this paper studies the application flow of MBSA in the safety analysis of digital control system and the modeling method of the safety model. This paper focuses on the application phase of MBSA and the model building method suitable for digital control system. A safety model is introduced into the preliminary system safety assessment to help conduct the analysis. The modeling is completed using the failure logic modeling approach and modeling process based on the characteristics of aero-engine digital control system by comparing the two modeling approaches of extended system model and failure logic modeling.

The software product is proposed for performing the dispatching task of distributing water resources of the hydromeliorative irrigation system. This software product allows you to monitor and calculate the costs and volumes of water necessary for the needs of water users, as well as the water balance on the irrigation system. Using the accounting program ACDU_2019, the manager of main networks enters indicators: water levels and the height of lifting gates at each structure. During data processing, instantaneous, average daily consumption, and volumes of water per day and per year are determined. For convenience and time-saving, when the required flow is introduced through the hydraulic structure, the dispatcher receives the opening height of the shutters at the corresponding horizons. The results of the development of an intelligent irrigation complex control system taking into account actual moisture reserves are presented, which allows both optimizing irrigation rates depending on the level of actual moisture reserves in field areas, and ensuring optimal operation of sprinkler equipment in each irrigation area through the introduction of neurocontrollers into the control system. The proposed architecture of an intelligent irrigation complex control system allows both its integration into the structure of digital decision support platforms and its use in the development of new models of sprinkler machines. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

DC microgrids are experiencing rapid evolution due to increasing renewable energy integration and diverse load requirements, necessitating advanced control strategies for stable operation. This paper presents a novel voltage regulation approach utilizing policy gradient reinforcement learning with SARSA algorithm for a PV-fed buck converter system. The proposed methodology addresses the complex dynamics of multiple load types through a hierarchical control framework that combines actor-critic networks for continuous control actions. The control strategy employs a comprehensive seven-parameter state space encompassing voltage error, current measurement, solar irradiance, duty cycle history, voltage dynamics, error integration, and average voltage deviation. The experimental validation employs a buck converter maintaining 48V DC output from a 100V PV source, tested under challenging scenarios including 100W constant power load, 50W pulsed power load, and variable linear load conditions. The results demonstrate significant advantages over traditional PI control: 83% reduction in steady-state error, 75% improvement in voltage stability, and 73% faster load transition response. The controller successfully maintains voltage variations within +-1V across diverse load combinations, effectively addressing the destabilizing effects of constant power loads and sudden pulsed load changes. The integration of policy-based learning with on-policy SARSA implementation enables real-time adaptation without prior system modeling requirements. This approach showcases exceptional performance in both steady-state maintenance and transient response, particularly in scenarios involving mixed load characteristics. The framework provides a robust solution for modern DC microgrid applications requiring stable voltage regulation under complex load dynamics.

The paper presents a description of an approach for automatic program code review. The developed approach is based on the assumption of efficiency of using natural language processing (NLP) methods for analyzing program code and neural network transformer model. A software system that implements the proposed approach is developed. The results of experiments on program code review and problem search of several large projects are also given. The results of the experiments have shown the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

. A multi-level regional project management system is considered, in which targets and policy indicators for implementing a set of works implemented at the lower management level (production) are set at the upper level (Center). The problem is formulated of determining the parameters of the production system (performance of executive mechanisms, volumes of resources and efficiency of their use). This allows us to complete a given set of works within a pre-set time frame. We use network modeling and algorithms for finding flows with specified properties in networks with winnings to solve this problem.

At present, the virtual power plant is still in the stage of theoretical research and early pilot development. It has not yet formed a systematic and comprehensive Distributed Energy Resource (DER) modeling, market participation mechanism, operational risk management, operational optimization decision-making method, and systematic operating platform. Given the massive DERs interconnection requirements of the virtual power plant system, this paper proposes a design scheme for the DER interconnection protocol, which solves the problems of the existing application layer protocol, such as high overhead, poor security, and low efficiency of massive interconnection, and supports the safe and stable operation of power grid enterprises and virtual power plant systems. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Orbital spacecraft operations fundamentally depend on support from Tracking, Telemetry, and Command (TT&C) resources, including ground stations and relay satellites. This study addresses the TT&C resource scheduling problem under complex task scenarios, aiming to maximize task completion benefits while satisfying multidimensional constraints encompassing task execution durations, finite space-based and ground-based TT&C time windows, temporal and logical interdependencies, sun/shadow operational requirements, and sequential scheduling mandates. A Constraint Satisfaction Model is developed to formalize these operational challenges, integrating systematic constraint propagation mechanisms with heuristic backtracking search strategies. The proposed algorithm enhances computational efficiency through prioritized task sequencing based on multi-level heuristic rules while employing conflict-aware backtracking to resolve scheduling inconsistencies. Experimental results demonstrate that the design of the heuristic strategy effectively enhances the algorithm's runtime efficiency and achieves superior performance compared to the Ortools solver.
