The microservices architecture has become ubiquitous in the cloud environment. It simplifies application development by breaking monolithic applications into manageable micro services that can be developed and deployed independently of the whole. However, the move from a monolithic or simple multi-tier architecture to a distributed microservice "service mesh" leads to new challenges due to the more complex application topology. A particular problem when automatically managing the performance of microservices is that since each service component scales up and down independently, it can easily create load imbalance problems on shared backend services accessed by multiple components. Traditional load balancing algorithms were designed for centralized load balancers sitting between a group of clients and a server farm. These algorithms, however, do not port over well to a distributed microservice architecture where load balancers are deployed client-side. In this paper we propose a self managing load balancing system, BLOC, which provides consistent response times to users without using a centralized metadata store or explicit messaging between nodes. We show that different service layers scaling independently can create unacceptably wide response time distributions and long tails, hurting client experience. This is because popular microservice load balancing algorithms, like Least Connection, only use a single component's view of the backend load to guide decisions. This limited perspective leads to an unevenly balanced system and the potential for incast problems where a large number of frontend components can easily overload a shared backend. BLOC uses overload control approaches like rate limiting, active queue management and backpressure to provide feedback to the load balancers. The load balancers react to this feedback with techniques like backoff and retries. We show that this performs significantly better in solving the incast problem in microservice architectu

At present, in the speed control algorithm of permanent magnet synchronous motor, PID control algorithm is widely used, but there are problems such as overshoot and insufficient anti-interference ability. Active disturbance rejection control continues the advantages of PID control that does not depend on the model, and has good adaptability and anti-interference ability. Therefore, this paper designs and improves a new LADRC control method. Through modeling and simulation on Matlab / Simulink simulation software, the effectiveness of the scheme under complex operating conditions of motor operation is verified. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional extended state observer, the improved extended state observer has higher tracking ability and observation accuracy, stronger anti-noise ability of the system, and the speed disturbance suppression effect and response speed are improved.

Voltage regulation of DC-DC converters is a prime requirement in any DC power application. The use of various frequency-dependent elements, variation in inputs, particularly converters integrated with renewable energy sources (RES), and load variations affect the desired output. Therefore, close loop control of converters becomes essential. However, to design robust controller knowledge of converter dynamics, including transient and steady-state, is necessary. This paper presents detailed dynamic modelling of the Re-lift Luo buck converter (RLBC) using the average state-space modelling method. The RLBC converter can provide step-up and step-down output simultaneously. The integrated converter (RLBC) has many energy storage elements, making it a higher-order system. controller and simulation of a higher-order system are complex and time-consuming. Therefore, reduced order models are obtained using pad' e approximation. Further, a suitability analysis of controllers is carried out using stability boundary theory. Therefore, a robust, suitable intelligent fuzzy controller is designed for RLBC converter with a detailed analysis of converters. The study is verified through simulation in MatLab Simulink. Finally, it is believed that the analysis carried out in this study could be helpful for higher-order boost converters controllers design.

The introduction of digitalization contributes to solving the priority task of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations - the transition from a system of responding to emergencies to their prevention. The purpose of the research presented in the article concerns the design of intelligent information systems to solve problems of organizational management of emergency monitoring processes in situation centers at the municipal level. In the course of the work, data mining methods were studied from the point of view of the possibility of using each to analyze data from the emergency monitoring process. Based on the results, the precedent method was chosen. The authors proposed a model of an ontological resource that includes concepts related to all properties of the presentation of information about emergencies.

Testability modeling and analysis play an increasingly important role in improving the level of testability design of products. Based on the correlation matrix, the testability analysis is carried out with a gas purification subsystem as an example. Aiming at the complex feedback loop caused by the external condition test and the cycle, a method of disconnecting the complex feedback loop is proposed, which improves the testability and fault diagnosis ability of the subsystem, and provides a method guidance for the testability design of other systems. © 2022 IEEE.

The development of lunar rovers is critical for human exploration of the lunar surface. These rovers will need to travel longer distances at higher speeds, and the efficient control of their paths is essential for mission success. Model Predictive control (MPC) is a path tracking method with foresight and robustness, capable of predicting vehicle movement and solving optimization problems to minimize cost functions. However, the complexity of lunar environments necessitates simplified models, such as kinematic models, to reduce computational cost. The study proposes a special MPC method that uses zeroth-order gradient optimization to directly solve the nonlinear model and generate precise control commands, significantly reducing computational burden and meeting the computational cost requirements of lunar rover control.

A high-performance system for stabilizing the consumption mode of reactive power of an arc furnace (AF) has been developed. The system operates using the principles of thyristor control of the equivalent inductance of the throttles included in the primary circuit of the furnace transformer. The dependencies of the artificial external characteristics of the arc furnace for multicriteria optimal control of the process to stabilize the reactive power consumption mode are backgrounded. A computer model of the proposed system for reactive power optimal stabilization of the arc furnace was created. Model studies the integral indicators of dynamics and energy efficiency under regulation of random disturbances by the proposed system and a typical arc power regulator of the arc furnace. The obtained research results showed a comprehensive improvement in the quality indicators of the dynamics of reactive power stabilization and AF energy efficiency indicators.

This paper discusses the design and implementation of an advanced on-board control system for precise missile trajectory correction. It examines the architecture of the system, detailing the integration of sensors and control mechanisms for real-time adjustments. The 4th order Runge-Kutta method was chosen for its efficiency in solving the missile trajectory equations, ensuring accuracy under complex conditions. A comprehensive mathematical model was developed to account for drag, gravity and wind loads. Flight simulation in MATLAB provided a robust testing environment, with results demonstrating the system's effectiveness in minimizing trajectory deviations and improving targeting accuracy in combat scenarios. These results highlight the potential of the control system to meet defense accuracy requirements.
