In the existing literature, a variety of distribution network optimization methods have been proposed, including genetic algorithm, ant colony algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm. However, these methods have many optimization variables and complex constraints, and the traditional optimization methods are easy to fall into local optimal in the solving process. The main objective of this paper is to design a multi-objective optimization algorithm based on PSO for the optimal scheduling of autonomous vehicle systems in distribution networks. Particle swarm optimization (PSO), as a new swarm intelligence optimization algorithm, has become an effective tool to solve multi-objective optimization problems because of its simplicity, global search ability and fast convergence speed. The application of PSO strategy to the multi-objective optimization of distribution network autonomous vehicle system is expected to overcome the shortcomings of traditional optimization methods and achieve more efficient and reliable optimization results. The main contribution of this paper is to effectively balance multiple optimization objectives and improve the overall performance of the system. Under single objective optimization, the average driving distance from vehicle 1-5 to area 1-5 was above 3 kilometers;under multi-objective optimization, the average driving distance of vehicles 6-10 to areas 1-5 was mostly within 3 kilometers. By optimizing the operation and management of the distribution system, sustainable development of the power system can be achieved, reducing its impact on the environment and improving social and economic benefits. © 2024 IEEE.

A significant disadvantage of classical operational amplifiers with a complementary 'folded' cascode is that in the dynamic overload mode of the input differential stage, the maximum output current of the 'folded' cascode is tightly coupled to the currents of the current-stabilizing bipoles that establish its static mode. This prevents (under the static current consumption limitations of the operational amplifier) a fast recharge of the integrating correction capacitor, which limits the maximum slew rate of the output voltage. The paper discusses new circuit solutions of CBJT operational amplifier based on complementary 'folded' cascodes and input differential stage of dual-input stage subclass to increase slew rate from 215 V/μs to 8000 V/μs level. The problem solved here is to provide higher levels of 'folded' cascode output current during the transient edge. This effect is achieved by introducing three additional small capacitance correction capacitors into the circuit. It is possible to introduce a special current limiting resistor in series with the third additional capacitor to reduce overshoot during the transient edge. The proposed modifications of operational amplifier have significant advantages in comparison with the classical ones based on complementary 'folded' cascodes in terms of slew rate level. Results of computer modeling of the operational amplifier in LTSpice environment for silicon CBJT technological process with micron topological norms are presented. © 2024 IEEE.

Freeform bending is a technique used to bend different tube profiles into complex structures. In the realm of Aritificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, data-driven approaches in modeling and in optimization based control contribute to the job being executed, by increasing product quality and reducing energy consumption and material waste. In previous works, soft-sensors as well as different factors affecting the geometry and the residual stresses have been investigated and been utilized in a preliminary closed-loop control structure. Later on, this control structure has been replaced with a control strategy called Residual Strategy Algorithm, that could, based on previous deviations in the geometry, proactively react in order to reduce their effects. In this paper, the previously developed Residual Strategy Algorithm is extended to include both, the geometry as well as the residual stresses of the tube being bent. Serverless computing that runs functions with auto-scaling is a popular task execution pattern in the cloud-native era. By connecting serverless functions into workflows, tenants can achieve complex functionality. Prior research adopts the control-flow paradigm to orchestrate a serverless workflow. However, the control-flow paradigm inherently results in long response latency, due to the heavy data persistence overhead, sequential resource usage, and late function triggering. Our investigation shows that the data-flow paradigm has the potential to resolve the above problems, with careful design and optimization. We propose DataFlower, a scheme that achieves the data-flow paradigm for serverless workflows. In DataFlower, a container is abstracted to be a function logic unit and a data logic unit. The function logic unit runs the functions, and the data logic unit handles the data transmission asynchronously. Moreover, a host-container collaborative communication mechanism is used to support efficient data transfer. Our experimental results show that compared to state-of-the-art serverless designs, DataFlower reduces the 99%-ile latency of the benchmarks by up to 35.4%, and improves the peak throughput by up to 3.8X.

With the accelerated integration of the new generation information technology and manufacturing industry, the performance of production equipment continues to be optimized, evolved and upgraded iteratively. The production equipment model presents a multi-dimensional, multi-level, full life cycle integration development trend, which has become the key to improve the innovative capability and digital management level of production equipment. Aiming at the problems of multiple types of production equipment models, such as complex structure, difficult integration and low application efficiency, this study analyzed the relationship and interaction mechanism among production equipment models from the perspectives of life cycle, hierarchical structure and multi-dimension, and built a production equipment model architecture. Based on the model architecture of production equipment, a general multi-dimensional fusion framework of production equipment models was proposed, which takes the mechanism model as the core. This study can provide reference for the construction, integration and application of production equipment models. © 2023 ACM.

Learning performant robot manipulation policies can be challenging due to high-dimensional continuous actions and complex physics-based dynamics. This can be alleviated through intelligent choice of action space. Operational Space control (OSC) has been used as an effective taskspace controller for manipulation. Nonetheless, its strength depends on the underlying modeling fidelity, and is prone to failure when there are modeling errors. In this work, we propose OSC for Adaptation and Robustness (OSCAR), a data-driven variant of OSC that compensates for modeling errors by inferring relevant dynamics parameters from online trajectories. OSCAR decomposes dynamics learning into task-agnostic and task-specific phases, decoupling the dynamics dependencies of the robot and the extrinsics due to its environment. This structure enables robust zero-shot performance under out-of-distribution and rapid adaptation to significant domain shifts through additional finetuning. We evaluate our method on a variety of simulated manipulation problems, and find substantial improvements over an array of controller baselines. With the growing adoption of Industry 4.0 concepts in production systems, new challenges arise in engineering control software. Highly distributed control with tight real-time constraints and safety regulations results in increasingly complex software. Current research focuses on increasing the abstraction with new architectures and modularization of software. The presented PhD research addresses modeling of the interactions between control software components, and of the emergent behavior of these compositions. Such behavior models can support the initial implementation, and facilitate (semi-)automated testing and monitoring of control software. Finally, visualizing behavior in a model can enhance understandability of existing control software, when software developers need not access abstracted hierarchy levels to deduct their functionality. This work aims at optimizing the benefit of behavior models in developing control software: modeling the expected behavior directly for new software will allow using them throughout the software life-cycle. For legacy software, the initial development effort of behavior models will be minimized by automatically capturing behavior models from the implementation. The approach is evaluated in case studies and user studies to integrate experiences from the industrial domain into this software engineering research.

The paper is devoted to the problem of energy flows studying in a universal multilevel inverter, when an output voltage with a complex and controlled harmonic composition of the curve is forming. It is intended for multifrequency induction heating of metal blocks containing of various sizes fragments. Energy processes in such inverter differ from those well studied in traditional two-level voltage inverters, which follows directly from the difference in the principles of the output voltage curve forming in these converters. The patterns studying of these processes in a universal multilevel inverter is the purpose of this article. The methodology for the goal achieving consists in identifying of the main energy flows between elements of its power circuit, development of their mathematical and computer models that allow studding of their flow patterns. The practical and scientific significance of results presented in the paper consists in their use to optimize the control system and justify the choice of elements parameters of the converter circuit for multifrequency metal heating equipment.

Due to the complex electromagnetic characteristics of different devices and the limited space of the carrier, the electromagnetic compatibility problem of multi-antenna systems is becoming increasingly prominent. How to optimize the antenna layout and reduce the interference coupling of antenna system has become an urgent problem to be solved. To this end, this paper proposed a hybrid CST-PSO method to solve the electromagnetic compatibility layout optimization problem of antenna system. In this hybrid method, the simulation calculation of antenna coupling degree is based on the electromagnetic simulation software CST, and the layout optimization simulation of antenna system is based on the particle swarm optimization (PSO). Based on the hybrid method, the electromagnetic compatibility layout optimization simulation analysis is conducted on a typical multi-antenna system model. The simulation results show that the hybrid method can effectively optimize the layout and reduce the coupling degree of multi-antenna systems. © 2024 The Authors.

When synthesizing strategies for managing technological complexes, an important problem is the assessment of the state of the object and the prediction of its behavior under conditions of uncertainty. This problem is especially exacerbated in the tasks of forecasting development prospects with significant forecast depth based on intelligent information technologies. The problems of forecasting the behavior of the technological complex of a distillery as a complex control object operating under conditions of uncertainty are considered. The proposed method is based on the intellectual analysis of time series of technological variables, which allows for operational forecasting of the development trends of a complex management object, ensuring the adoption of effective management actions of a preventive nature. © 2022 IEEE.
