Traffic congestion is deteriorating the sustainability and livability of the metropolis. However, most existing solutions are expected utility-based, i.e., making routing decisions based on statistical expectation, which would lead to restricted efficiency in alleviating the congestion problem. Building upon cyber-physical-social systems (CPSS), this paper proposes ParallelRoute that exploits computational experiments in ACP theory to coordinate the large-scale routes considering the human use in ITS, efficiently alleviating the congestion problem. ParallelRoute adopts a congestion game theory for coordinating the route decisions to bridge user fairness and system efficiency and further supports the simulation over the future to capture the traffic dynamics, leading to coordinated, effective, and informed route decisions. Meanwhile, an ACPbased tree search algorithm is proposed to intertwine evaluations and prune, effectively handling the exponential number of states during the simulation. Comprehensive experiments on a real-world road network are conducted to evaluate the performance, and results show that ParallelRoute achieves the lowest travel time, and is effective for coordinating large-scale routes and alleviating the traffic congestion problem.

Improvement and optimization of a number of parameters of information and control systems of avionics of UAVs (an unmanned aerial vehicle) is today an actual scientific and practical task. One of the main requirements for the operating parameters of such systems is the stability of their power supply. For this purpose, methods of choosing optimal power supply structures based on the use of series-parallel connection of impulse voltage stabilizers are proposed using simulation modeling. The task of researching the dependence of economic efficiency on the applied voltage stabilization schemes and their parameters is considered. The selection of the optimal structure of the power supply voltage stabilization scheme of microprocessor and computer systems, which are part of the information and control systems, is substantiated, from the point of view of economic efficiency and the coefficient of useful effect of consumers’ electricity consumption, to ensure the efficiency of control processes. Graphs of the dependence of the efficiency of stabilizers on the stabilization coefficients and the number of cascades are constructed, and recommendations for their selection are formulated. The results of experimental studies of voltage stabilizers, performed by applying simulation models implemented in the MATLAB-Simulink software package, are presented.

Model Free control (MFC) with ultra-local model is novel design method to provide high performance control for systems with nonlinear dynamics. The basic concept of this approach is to compute an ultra-local model, which is valid for a short period of time. Although the concept has already been successfully applied for various vehicle control problems, there are some open issues regarding the robustness and the stability of the closed-loop controlled system. This paper presents a method for designing a robust control based on H-infinity synthesis, with which a solution on these issues can be found. In the proposed MFC strategy the ultra-local model-based control is in the inner loop of the control structure. Moreover, a robust H-infinity control for the outer loop is designed, in whose control-oriented model the control of the inner loop is incorporated. The control strategy is implemented in high-fidelity vehicle dynamic environment and its efficiency and operation are demonstrated through a complex simulation example.

With the increasing application of small spacecraft, the momentum actuator, the core component of its attitude control system, has received more and more attention. Most of the traditional momentum actuators are redundantly designed with multiple single-direction momentum structures. The structure is complex and the efficiency is low, which is not conducive to the long-term on-orbit operation of the small spacecraft. Aiming at the above problems, a permanent magnet momentum sphere (PMMS) is proposed. Firstly, the basic structure of PMMS is given, and the mechanism of cogging torque is expounded according to the structure. Then, the model of PMMS is established in ANSYS by using virtual displacement method. According to the design requirements of PMMS, the relevant structural parameters are simulated and analyzed to reduce the influence of the cogging torque, and the optimal parameters that meet the design requirements are obtained. The simulation results confirm the rationality and effectiveness of PMMS design. © 2023 IEEE.

The results of this study have been implemented on DNNSS simulation subsystem of multi-model complex nonlinear network. In this paper, the multi-model method is introduced to make the concept of the discontinuous right end of the simulation complex nonlinear system clear intuitive analysis applicability and description ability. This paper studies a series of theories and knowledge about the modeling and switching simulation of oil and gas dual-power system based on the association algorithm, reveals the concept and definition of the algorithm based on the association, and carries out the disposal of application cases of the modeling and switching simulation of oil and gas dual-power system. By oil and gas field power supply system for analysis of effect of oil and gas dual power supply system based on correlation algorithm to study the modeling and simulation of switching, test result shows that oil and gas dual power supply system based on correlation algorithm modeling and simulation in oil and gas field double switching power supply system in the agility, practicability, intelligent and robust reached 82.41%, 90.01%, 94.65%, 98.28%. © 2022 ACM.

Stabilization of the systems described by stochastic delay-differential equations (SDDEs) under preset conditions is a challenging task in the control community. Here, to achieve this task, we leverage neural networks to learn control policies using the information of the controlled systems in some prescribed regions. Specifically, two learned control policies, i.e., the neural deterministic controller (NDC) and the neural stochastic controller (NSC), work effectively in the learning procedures that rely on, respectively, the well-known LaSalle-type theorem and the newly-established theorem for guaranteeing the stochastic stability in SDDEs. We theoretically investigate the performance of the proposed controllers in terms of convergence time and energy cost. More practically and significantly, we improve our learned control policies through considering the situation where the controlled trajectories only evolve in some specific safety set. The practical validity of such control policies restricted in safety set is attributed to the theory that we further develop for safety and stability guarantees in SDDEs using the stochastic control barrier function and the spatial discretization. We call this control as SYNC (SafetY-aware Neural control). The efficacy of all the articulated control policies, including the SYNC, is demonstrated systematically by using representative control problems. © 2023 11th international conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2023. Many physical-world systems are complex and consist of inter-connected elements. The idea of series-parallel reliability is important in the field of reliability engineering, especially when analyzing the reliability of complex systems. In this study, the authors have utilized the techniques of Universal Generating Function and Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers to evaluate reliability. As an example, an Electronic Stability control system with two sub-systems, mainly a sensor system and an actuation system with multi-components is considered. The authors model the reliability of the complete system considering a general system of the same and further calculate the reliability of the series-parallel positioning of the components as an application to the above-mentioned analytical techniques.

Model-based systems Engineering (MBSE) is an advanced approach to complex product design and development. The fundamental concept of MBSE is to develop and use consistent models of the system under development, referred to as named system models, as a cross-sectional and cross-discipline platform for information transfer. With the implementation and popularization of MBSE, the industry has put forward higher requirements for the quality of system models. Due to the lack of system model evaluation theory, the quality of the model is opaque, and different stakeholders have different evaluation results for the same model product. This defeats the purpose of using models instead of documents, which is to ensure a consistent exchange of information, and then seriously hinders the use and delivery of the model. Therefore, this study analyzes the characteristics of the system and model and the application of the system model, forming an evaluation index system for SysML system models. It provides practitioners using SysML with systematic theory and practical general methods to solve these problems, and provides a reference for practitioners using different languages to evaluate the quality of MBSE models. © 2023 ACM.

The problem of applying signal adaptation methods in complex systems with high dynamic order is established. It is noted that the main obstacle to constructing such systems is a small margin of their stability, which does not allow implementing the required level of system adaptation to changes in object parameters. To overcome this obstacle, it is proposed to form the general structure of the system based on the evolutionary principle of dividing its functions between different subsystems. It is demonstrated that in practical problems with a high level of generality, it is sufficient to limit ourselves to subsystems of adaptation to non-stationary parameters of the object; ensuring the stability of the signal adaptation loop; ensuring the monotonic nature of the transient process and the specified control time, and the subsystem of ensuring the required control error in the steady state. The content of the synthesis procedures for the listed subsystems is disclosed. Attention is paid to the issues of choosing the type of the reference model, calculating the feedback coefficient and the correcting link in the adaptation loop, as well as implementing astatism in the system. The problem of ambiguity of constructing the correcting link is considered, and a method for resolving this ambiguity using mathematical programming methods is proposed. An example of constructing a system with signal adaptation is presented, illustrating the performance of the proposed approach to the synthesis of such systems.
