This article is dedicated to the increase in the efficiency of actions aimed at decreasing the electric loss for a variety of reasons. Contemporary electric engines require the high quality of output parameter regulation to ensure the efficient functioning of system elements. This goal is complex, it depends on numerous factors. One suggests the main systems of controlling marine auxiliary drive elements. The article examines key parameters and operational factors for such control. While designing control systems, traditional proportional integral controllers are a reliable and proven method to control the required parameters. However, due to the development of the control theory, fuzzy logic algorithms also can be applied in a range of problems. To optimize the system, one offered to adopt the system with the fuzzy logic controller instead of the traditional proportional integral (PI) controller, as well as provided the schematic diagram of the hybrid electric drive control system. © 2022 IEEE.

Spherical robots (SRs), due to their enclosed shells and versatile motion capabilities, are attracting significant attention in fields such as pipeline inspection, planetary exploration, and military reconnaissance. However, SRs are underactuated, non-holonomic, and strongly coupled complex underactuated, non-holonomic, and strongly coupled complex systems, making modeling and control challenging. This paper introduces a dual-drive differential momentum wheel structure for SRs and proposes an adaptive control algorithm based on for SRs and proposes an adaptive control algorithm based on feature modeling. Considering the significant variations in the dynamic characteristics of SRs, adaptive amplitude limiting is achieved by regulating factors applied to the time-varying dynamic characteristics of SRs, adaptive amplitude limiting is achieved by regulating factors applied to the time-varying parameters of feature modeling. A golden-section adaptive control rate is employed to reduce computational complexity. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed adaptive control method significantly outperforms the classical PID controller in terms of control performance and dynamic response, proving its effectiveness in enhancing the robustness of SRs against disturbances and dynamic environments.

The problem of configuring a complex system is considered. As elements of the system, executors with a link graph that can change over time are considered. Configuration is understood as the process of determining the Executors of a given set of works and organizing their interaction, i.e. formation of the status (set of elements) and/or various structures (relationships) of the system that determine its functioning for the specified purposes. A number of conditions are imposed on communications between Executors. They are caused, firstly, by the physical possibility or impossibility of establishing a connection between each pair of Executors, and secondly, by restrictions on the number of established connections at certain points in time. The established relationships determine the ability to switch the execution of work between the Executors. It is assumed that two types of resources can be used to complete a set of tasks: current production and reserves. The current production resource is the performance of the Executor. At the same time, the desired amount of the general reserve is assigned to each task and allocated to the Executors as a non-renewable resource that increases their productivity. Each task is characterized by a directive interval (fixed parameter) and execution duration, which depends on the amount of reserve allocated to this task (unfixed desired parameter). The problem of determining the system configuration, as well as the distribution of a non-renewable resource between tasks, is solved. This problem is reduced to a multiproduct flow problem, for which necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution in the form of a system of linear integer relations are obtained. © 2022 IEEE.

The advancements in 3D printing technology have revolutionized the design and fabrication of complex antennas, enabling the development of smaller and lighter designs. However, these changes in physical dimensions necessitate a thorough investigation of the antenna characteristics before large-scale production. Simulation plays a crucial role in the evaluating these characteristics. This research paper focuses on verifying the wire-grid approach for modeling perforated antennas. A perforated horn antenna was modeled using two different wire-grid structures, and the results were compared with those obtained using another software. Additionally, the simulation results were compared with measurements taken from various types of 3D printed antennas. The comparative analysis demonstrates a high level of consistency and highlights the effectiveness of the wire-grid approach in simulating antenna behavior. These findings emphasize the possibility of using wire-grid approach together with the 3D printing technology to evaluate and optimize complex antenna structures. By harnessing the potential of 3D printing technology and simulation tools, researchers and engineers can continue to push the boundaries of antenna design and fabrication, leading to the development of smaller, lighter, and more efficient antennas for a wide range of applications. © 2023 IEEE.

The Model Free Adaptive control (MFAC) control laws are attractive for applications involving complex plants. This is mainly due to the fact that no process modeling is required, which becomes more and more cumbersome, but only a dynamic linearization through the concept of pseudo partial derivatives (PPD), which it introduces. Using PPD, the control law uses only the input and output data of the process to understand and control it. systems in the aerospace category are increasingly complex, using a multitude of sensors, information that can be used very easily for applications involving MFAC. The paper proposes a test of an MFAC law conjugated with Sliding Mode control (SMC), to test this type of law in comparison with the classic MFAC-CFDL variant.

With the rapid developments of renewable energy sources, the uncertainty of the power supply will bring new challenges to scheduling problems, and conventional scheduling strategies may lose their effectiveness. The current general scheduling strategies need to model the uncertainty of the environment, while it is difficult to achieve a high degree of accuracy in the power system with high penetration rate of new energy, which will directly affect the scheduling result. In response to this problem, this paper studies the economic dispatch of power systems based on deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG),which avoids the uncertainty modeling of the environment in principle. Combined with the basic economic dispatch model, this paper has defined a learning mode of the algorithm and built an algorithm framework of economic dispatch of power system based on DDPG. The results of the experiment show that proposed algorithm is highly adaptable to random fluctuation of renewable energy. (c) 2022 Published by Elsevier Ltd. This article describes a new suite of simulation plugins for the Gazebo 3D simulator to facilitate realistic simulation of time-varying 3D wind fields and gusts. The plugins integrate with ROS and Pixhawk PX4 Software-In-The-Loop (SITL) firmware to aid in the development of robust UAS control systems. Our approach features two main components: (1) real-time plugins for simulating environmental and sensed versions of complex, spatially varying wind velocity fields, using a Fourier-based compression of large CFD datasets, and (2) real-time plugins for modeling environmental and sensed versions of short-duration windblasts. By building on opensource Gazebo and ROS software, the developed framework provides high-accuracy physics simulation with support for multiple vehicles, fostering improved flight controller design and testing in cluttered or challenging atmospheric conditions.

The control of an autonomous host vehicle at a crossroads intersection, in the presence of uncoordinated target vehicles, and without any crossing priority regulation is considered. The problem was spilt into two sub-problems, namely the priority and the path-planning problems. These problems are solved using a hierarchical controller. The lower control level is a linear controller to control the vehicle's speed and heading, to follow the reference signals provided by a middle-level algorithm. This middle-level controller is a Model Predictive control (MPC) computed by modelling a unicycle model that is in a Linear Parameter-Varying (LPV) state-space model form. Different features are introduced for improving the prediction capability of the LPV-MPC. Prediction data computed by the MPC are used by the higher-level state-machine supervisor algorithm to determine when the host vehicle can safely cross the junction. The hierarchical controller was tested in simulation using a set of stressing scenarios. Reported results show the effectiveness of the proposed LPV-MPC in managing complex traffic scenarios with efficient compute.

Digital transformation and information integration provide operational management of information and communication processes in many industries. The use of digital and telemedicine technologies in healthcare is particularly important. The article presents the directions of development of telecommunication projects in medicine and considers the main tools and applications for creating an automated medical history in a digital environment. The methods of intellectual support of complex test solutions for the electronic medical history in the field of teleneurology are described. The methods of knowledge representation in telemedicine systems using rule-templates are considered. It is noted that the rule base can accelerate the comparison of patient data and the development of diagnostic hypotheses, providing data search and their distribution into separate groups in accordance with the context of a particular medical problem.
