Moreover, an Operator Agent is proposed that takes over several jobs of the human operator, thus increasing the DSSs degree of autonomy. The study explores human learning strategy, as well as the human memory system. The neural network has been developed from human learning techniques. Developed neural network was tested on some real life scenarios. The whole proposed system has two unique parts: the network part and the driver part. The driver part drives the whole network while the neural pail is the main network based on human learning. The sample scenario shows that the same network acts differently on a change in the driver program.

The paper deals with the partial automation, of cars for safety purposes. We have tried to automate the car to prevent the danger (obstacles around the car) in the best possible way by incorporating intelligence to it with the help of microcontrollers and interfacing them with the basic structures of the braking, steering and the acceleration systems of the car. The actions required are taken only if the driver is not able to steer the car out of danger even after he is alerted We have given preference to a particular direction with respect to other directions in the most practical way and in a particular sequence so that only one system (i.e. braking, steering and the acceleration) works at a given instant of time. The proposed system can be implanted in a manually driven car at a very low cost.

In this work we focused on the development of an adaptive Soft Sensor which may be deployed in a real-life environment, for example as inferential control support. To be able to do this, the Soft Sensor must fulfil certain constraints like being able to deal with data impurities or to adapt itself with changing data. The task is approached by training a set of models with limited validity in the data space and by proposing a statistically-based technique for the combination of the local models. The combination weights are related to the estimated performance of the local models in the neighbourhood of the processed data sample. The performance and other benefits of the proposed Soft Sensor are demonstrated in terms of a case study where the model deals with ran v industrial data.

This paper presents the structure and configuration of a control system and a videos transmission system of a tribratiation mobile robot for inspection of power transmission lines. The robot can negotiate obstacles autonomously on the simulated line in the lab. The efficiency and consistency of video transmission is very important remote monitoring and control systems. To enhance the efficiency and consistency, this paper discusses the design process of the remote video transmission and the remote control scheme for inspection robots. It also analyzes the factors that affect consistency of the videos and finds out a method to achieve this function. The efficiency of the video transmission design and the feasibility of the remote control scheme are illustrated by the experiments and simulation results.
