This paper proposes a new color image encryption method based on cross-traversal and inter-plane disruption. First, the SHA-512 hash function is used to generate the key from the plaintext image, and chaotic sequences A1, A2 and A3 are produced using the one-dimensional Logistic system, one-dimensional Sine mapping system and two-dimensional Henon mapping system. Then, cross-traversal is performed on the plaintext image, and intra-row disruption and inter-column disruption are carried out in turn using chaotic sequence A1 to complete the first round of disruption. Subsequently, the three bit planes are rearranged in descending order, i.e. inter-plane disruption, to complete the second round of disruption. Finally, diffusion is carried out in the diffusion stage using chaotic sequences A2 and A3 in combination with XOR operation to complete encryption. Experimental outcomes demonstrate the exceptional performance and robust security of the proposed algorithm. It effectively withstands prevalent assaults, including statistical and differential attacks, while maintaining impressive time efficiency.

To reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, the United States will need to simultaneously expand and decarbonize its electricity supply. Aggressive clean energy policies supported by socially-aware modeling frameworks are necessary for the pace of the transition to meet this goal. Policymakers rely on computermodeling to inform decarbonization policies, even though most power sector models were not developed for this purpose. This paper investigates elements of modeling that are, and are not, constructive for climate policy design through a case study of Massachusetts. The analysis discusses typical uses for modeling results in the context of recent energy projects, in order to highlight strengths and weaknesses of power sector modeling as a tool to inform policy making. The discussion acknowledges what all modelers know - that modeling is useful for identifying technically feasible options and for comparing them based on quantifiable indicators. Frameworks such as general equilibrium modeling notwithstanding, this paper asserts that power sector models are incapable of identifying socially optimal solutions and estimating achievable pace of decarbonization, because they necessarily omit underlying social dynamics that affect policy implementation and decarbonization goals.

The metaverse integrates digital and physical realities into a parallel virtual environment, which has become a key direction for the future of the digital world. With the development of this paradigm, the need for human-computer interaction (HCI) systems within the metaverse has become increasingly important, but the complexity and uniqueness of the interactions also pose a series of challenges. To better understand and solve problems in metaverse HCI systems, this paper proposes an approach based on a combination of problem framing (PF) and model-drive (MDE). The approach describes the entities of the metaverse HCI system and the special interactions between the two worlds by extending the meta-model of the PF. This paper also discusses the application scenarios of this extended model, demonstrating the feasibility of our approach through a case study.

This article emphasizes the application of fuzzy logic in the field of agriculture. The use of fuzzy logic is not restricted to specific agricultural domains, but rather extends from soil analysis to the entire process of plant production, encompassing various areas within agriculture. To gain a better understanding of fuzzy logic in agriculture, a concise and comprehensive literature review has been conducted. Crop yield estimation fuzzy logic involves the incorporation of input parameters such as productivity, area, and labor expenses. Through the application of fuzzy arithmetic to these parameters, a precise crop yield value is obtained. The fuzzy modeling employs optimal membership functions. The accuracy of the results is verified by comparing them with existing open-source literature.
