To understand information dissemination researchers must combine different methods. The lack of social network research tools combining different analysis methods is a problem for users. An approach to studying social networks based on using simulation system TriadNS is proposed in paper. The important characteristics of social networks and the metrics that allow you to evaluate them are discussed. Information dissemination models are described. The paper provides a description of simulation tools to explore both structural characteristics and dynamic behavior of social networks, to study not only virtual networks, but also real ones. The results of calculating and visualizing different metrics and executing simulation experiments are demonstrated.

A quasi-static approximation of a thermodynamically compatible system of PDEs is presented to model the loading test for a two-phase (solid-fluid) sample. To numerically solve the resulting PDEs written in terms of displacements, we use a second-order finite-difference scheme on a staggered grid. Numerical results demonstrate the application of the presented approach to estimate seismic attenuation in two-phase media on different scales, involving an effective porosity model of fractured media on the mesoscale or the geometry of a single pore directly at the microscale.

The dependability of a system is affected by different factors in different stages of its life cycle, and it must be properly managed. The key to achieve dependability is to adopt a life-cycle approach to obtain dependability. This paper analyzes the meaning of dependability life cycle, and on the basis of introducing the existing system, data and product life cycle models, constructs the system dependability life cycle model, including concept, development, realization, utilization and retirement/re-use of five life cycle stages. Considering the wide application of software system, the dependability life cycle model of software system is further studied and established. The implementation of dependability activities in each phase of the system life cycle can promote the realization of system dependability and create dependability value.

Therefore, we have proposed a system for computer architecture education called the Kyutech Easily Reconstructive Naked Educational (KERNEL) computer. KERNEL is a model computer designed specifically for educational purposes, allowing users to write assembly code and providing a visually intuitive representation of the CPU's internal processing during code execution. The purpose of this study is to implement the KERNEL system as an application where the CPU behavior is simulated and graphically displayed to aid learners' understanding. This paper describes the system's design and implementation, using the developed application as a use case example.

The advent of the cloud-native era, driven by technologies like cloud computing, big data, and virtualization, has promoted the widespread adoption of microservices architecture in application development. The complex network environment and componentized distributed deployments have introduced new challenges in application performance monitoring. This paper introduces TopoRCA, a system that leverages application topology to identify the root causes of issues in microservices applications. TopoRCA utilizes lightweight machine learning models for anomaly detection, locating faults within the system. It also efficiently and intelligently infers the root cause behind system failures by correlating instance node metrics and service call metrics. We use a microservices dataset consisting of 10 service instances in our experiment. Our experimental results demonstrate that 42% of the root causes are ranked first, 61% in the top three, and 80% in the top five by TopoRCA.
