According the low-temperature (Td) data of 60 years from 1950/1951 to 2009-2010 in Fujian Province, geographic information, olive planting area, cut rates of yield and the farmer's net income, the low-temperature frost risk division of olive plant is done based on GIS technology, expert grading method, mathematical statistics and so on. The mainly indexes include the four factors of hazard, exposure, vulnerability and disaster prevention and reduction capability those combined results of the natural disaster risk, and the olive comprehensive risk assessment index is made of them to forming a division map of olive low-temperature and frost. The mainly results as follows: The risk factors of distribution are an uneven distribution. It is high low-temperature and frost risk region in County of Minqing, Shanghang, and YouXi, and the risk index reached 0.7418, 0.5818, 0.51; the olive can develop in those areas that are FuZhou south coast, PuTian, QuanZhou and the most parts of ZhangZhou in Fujian Province.

In this work, a modeling study was carried out using the KIVA-3V code with the Zeldovich thermal NOx model, the improved soot formation model and the combustion model for a diesel/methanol dual fuel engine. The effects of ratios (10%,20% and 30%) of methanol substitution for diesel fuel on soot and NOx emission characteristics were investigated. Good agreements between predictions and measurements of engine out NOx and soot emissions were achieved. The present computations confirm that methanol allows soot reduction with a little NOx penalty except heavy and full load. With increasing methanol ratio, soot emission decrease markedly while NOx emissions have some increase. At 75% load, the engine-out soot emissions decrease by 66.4% while the engine out NOx emissions increase by 21.5% for 30% methanol, when compared to diesel fuel.

This paper discusses the advantages of score-level fusion between pattern and minutiae based fingerprint verification algorithms in various operational scenarios. The different scenarios considered are sensor interoperability, environmental conditions and low quality enrollments. These are commonly encountered in real-life deployments of fingerprint-based biometric systems, specifically for large-scale distributed systems and physical access control. Moreover, the approach for jointly utilizing the conceptually different pattern and minutiae algorithms is based on various well-known score-level fusion techniques with single finger presentations. In contrast to previous studies on multi-matcher score-level fusion for fingerprint verification, where only moderate performance improvement were reported, the results presented here show significant performance gains. The two main contributing factors to these findings are that the two algorithms are conceptually different and the effects of the different operational scenarios. For the latter, improvement in accuracy due to fusion is even more significant in non-ideal and challenging operating conditions.

At the first stage of this work, waste printed circuit board was pyrolyzed under vacuum in a self-made batch pilot scale fixed bed reactor, and the glass fiber (GF) was separated from the pyrolysis residues by gravity method and purified by calcination in the air. Then, the GF/polypropylene (PP) composites was prepared by means of injection molding. The influence of GF particle size, mass fraction and surface pretreatment on the properties of composites was researched respectively. The results have shown that the GF of 0.45mm pretreated by silane coupling agents can effectively improve the characteristics of GF/PP composites. The mechanical and thermal properties were increased in the range of up to 30%GF and decreased with further increase in GF dosage. The optimum properties of GF/PP composites can be obtained at the GF content of 30%. Compared to pure PP, the increment of flexural modulus, flexural strength, tensile strength and impact strength is 68.42%, 31.16%, 25.93% and 41.38%, respectively. And the Vicat softening temperature (VST) is increased by 3.2°C.

Poly diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (PDMDAAC) is a cationic organic polymer flocculant, The aim of this work is to use PFS or PAC for treating surface raw water and PDMDAAC as coagulant aid. Electron microscope was used to observe flocs morphology and study PDMDAAC coagulation aid morphological change, floc image with microscope camera system analysis, calculation of floc fractal dimension. The results show that the, PDMDAAC in dealing with the surface raw water to play a good coagulation aid effect. Microscope and image analysis system of flocs morphology show that fractal dimension of morphology of PFS and PFS/PDMDAAC were 1.521, 1.544, and fractal dimension of morphology of PAC and PAC/PDMDAAC were 1.303, 1.395, respectively. Floc fractal dimension changes to better reflect the flocculation level and treatment effect for the establishment of floc fractal dimension number of changes in the coagulation control is provided for reference.

The kinetics of biosorption and desorption to lead ions on dried and wet wasted beer yeast were investigated with the instruments of AAS and SEM. In order to enhance the experimental results reliability and practice application value, the sorption solution system was gone on “L”-degree dosage level in the whole experimental process. The results showed that the biosorption and desorption process were fast to Pb 2+ on dried and wet beer yeast. There were very good biosorption or desorption effect in the first 30 min, and in this time, the desorption efficiency was 91.70% and 82.93% to dried and wet beer yeast, respectively. In the first biosorption process, wet beer yeast had better biosorption effect than dried beer yeast. In addition, desorbent of 0.1 mol/L HNO 3 was considered that it couldn't use as the best desorption condition. The other desorption conditions were need research or the beer wasted beer yeast is only used for single-time biosorbent.

Aiming at the issue of de-fouling in sewage source heat pump systems for sewage-side heat exchanger, a dry-type shell-tube sewage heat exchanger with auto-de-fouling function outside tubes was firstly developed. Based on reasonable assumptions, a steady-state and two-dimensional model for the dry-type shell-tube sewage evaporator is presented, according to the theory of two-phase flow and thermodynamics of refrigeration systems and the flow pattern of concurrent flow, counter flow, vertically crossed flow and oblique crossed flow in the side of sewage. Section division of the dry-type shell-tube sewage evaporator is setup, then, an new algorithm for the steady-state simulation of this evaporator is presented, which combines the idea of solving in temporal sequence and in spatial sequence, in the method of iterating flows' parameters on both sides until convergence to a certain precision. In order to validate the developed algorithm, simulation results were compared with experimental data. Due to the good agreement verified in the presented results, the developed algorithm was considered validated.

This paper uses co-integration theory and time series cross-section data model to empirically study cointegration relationship between China's coal consumption and economic growth in eastern, middle and western regions of China firstly. The research results show that there is a stable long-term equilibrium relationship between coal consumption and economic growth in the eastern region, this is a unidirectional relationship from economic growth to coal consumption. In middle region of China the obvious bidirectional long-term causal relationship and the bidirectional short-term causal relationship co-exist. However, there is a long-term co-integration relation in western region and the short-term causality is not tenable. And then combined the data of economic growth, energy and coal consumption in China, we conclude that relationship between coal consumption and economic growth is significantly different among various regions because of the level of economic development and its operation mechanism. Finally, some policy suggestions are put forward to promote the coordination development of energy and economy in various regions of China.

Adsorption of 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol onto octyl-modified ordered mesoporous silica material from aqueous solution has been investigated systematically using batch experiments in this study. Results indicate that 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol adsorption is initially rapid and the adsorption process reaches a steady state after 1 min. The adsorption isotherms are well described by the Langmuir and the Freundlich models, the former being found to provide the better fit with the experimental data. The effects of temperature and pH on the adsorption are also examined. According to the experimental results, the amount of 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol adsorbed decreases with increases of temperature from 288 to 308 K, and pH from 2.0 to 11.0. Based on the results, It was found that octyl-modified ordered mesoporous silica shows significant adsorption for 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol. This might be due to hydrophobic interaction among the octyl functional groups and 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol.
