Sensor web which is called new trend of nowadays, the development of wireless network environment and minimization of sensor make practical monitoring on physical environment possible. Sensor is being a clear technical trend which autonomously senses increase of usefulness on access of wireless and mobile network, and distributed network. Therefore, Web-service which is about sensor network including data management of sensor network is being a noticeable part of study. As a result, this paper designs USN-based mobile sensor Web service framework for environment monitoring in a standard protocol of mobile Web service based mobile environment. The proposed technology on this paper not only search Web of variable types, sensor, sensor data storage but also is possible to access and control through world wide Web.

The rapid development of sensor technology led to large deployments of collections of sensing nodes working together to collect information for light, temperature, atmospheric pressure, air pollutions parameters, images, and other relevant data according to specific environmental applications. The ability of the sensor networks to collect information accurately and reliably enables building both real-time detection and early warning systems. Environment parameter measurement and supervision received a lot of attention from both academic and industrial research communities around the world. Applications supporting decisions for rapid coordinated responses to threats such as bushfires, tsunamis, earthquakes, and other crisis situation have been devised. In this paper a combined ontology and rule-bases intelligent system build over a platform for sensor data warehousing for decision support is introduced. A combined ontology of sensor networks and sensor data for environment parameter measurement is designed and discussed. A set of rule-based systems each tailored to a domain of networked sensors are linked together through a middle-layer of rule-base systems which reason with facts classified and structured as instances of the common sensor ontology. A set of meta-rules direct the intelligent activity of the whole system and requires individual rule-based systems to reason upon specific facts. The paper will also discuss the architecture and algorithms for data mining, fusion and reasoning for specific situation in Environment monitoring and supervision. Results obtained from experiments performed on the system prototype are given at the end of this paper.

Faults and failures are the biggest obstacles that limit high-performance computing systems (HPCs) to exert their functions and performance. To minimize or dispel their influences, the HPCs must be supervised to obtain correlative information in time, according to which effective actions could be taken as soon as possible. To probe into this solution, an integrated fault-supervising system (IFS) designed for a large HPC system is presented in this paper, with large numbers of distributed sensors and intelligent control units to acquire fault information rapidly. Furthermore, it has the ability of automatic emergency processing in certain circumstances according to the acquired information, and it supports both local and remote management with convenient and visual interfaces. Up to now, the supervising system has been acting well for a few years and helps the target system reach over 90% availability, which indicates in a degree that the design is successful and the supervising system deserves further research and could have a bright future in wider range of application.

We present a distributed agent based system used to monitor, configure and control complex, large scale data transfers in the Wide Area Network The Localhost Information Service Agent (LISA) is a lightweight dynamic service that provides complete system and applications monitoring, is capable to dynamically configure system parameters and can help in optimizing distributed applications. As part of the MonALISA (monitoring Agents in A Large Integrated Services Architecture) system, LISA is an end host agent capable to collect any type of monitoring information, to distribute them, and to take actions based on local or global decision units. The system has been used for the Bandwidth Challenge at Supercomputing 2006 to coordinate global large scale data transfers using Fast Data Transfer (FDT) application between hundreds of servers distributed on major Grid sites involved in processing High Energy Physics data for the future Large Hadron Collider experiments.

Developers of distributed multimedia applications face a diversity of multimedia formats, streaming platforms and streaming protocols; furthermore, support for end-to-end quality-of-service (QoS) is a crucial factor for the development of future distributed multimedia and real time systems. However, quality aspects of interactions between objects cannot be specified nor enforced by current component based middleware, resulting only in a best- effort QoS support in middleware. Next generation middleware should offer abstractions for management and control of the system level QoS mechanisms, while maintaining the advantages of the distribution transparencies. The paper presents shortly the QComp framework, which represent our approach for a CCM based implementation, and discusses the design and implementation of a QoS monitoring and control mechanism integrated in the framework. The integration of the QoS support results in a QoS- enabled middleware which is representation, location and QoS transparent.

Autonomic computing is gradually becoming accepted as a viable approach to achieving self- management in systems and networks, with the goal of lessening the impact of the complexity crisis on the computing industry. The authors propose the integration of high level self-organisation features into the Application Directed Adaptive Framework (ADAF) which, when embedded into software applications, enables those applications to exhibit autonomic behaviour. This paper briefly discusses the infrastructure of ADAF and demonstrates two self-managing capabilities, namely self- monitoring and self-diagnosis.

Ad hoc wireless sensor networks are emerging as an important technology for applications such as environmental monitoring, battlefield surveillance and infrastructure security. While most research so far has focused on the network aspects of these systems (e.g., routing, scheduling, etc.), the capacity for scalable, in-field information processing is potentially their most important attribute. Networks that can infer the phenomenological structure of their environment can use this knowledge to improve both their sensing performance and their resource usage. These intelligent networks would require much less a priori design, and be truly autonomous. This paper presents a distributed algorithm for inferring the global topological connectivity of an environment through a simple self-organization algorithm based on Hebbian learning. The application considers sensors distributed over an environment with a network of tracks on which vehicles of various types move according to rules unknown to the sensor network. Each sensor infers the local topology of the track network by comparing its observations with those from neighboring sensors. The complete topology of the network emerges from the distributed fusion of these local views.

Due to the nonlinear, time-varying and time lagging property of the transfusion system, conventional control methods cannot achieve good performance in the real time monitoring. This paper proposes a method based on fuzzy neural network, which integrates the advantages of fuzzy logical control and neural network. It utilizes neural network to train fuzzy rules for fuzzy control. Error back propagation is adopted to realize the online self-learning when the control parameters are changed, which can quickly analyze the data and achieve intelligent control.
