The development of the intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is penetrating many economies around the globe. Various researchers in both industry and academia are looking into more efficient management of both vehicles and related data processing aspects. A vast trend related to the latter part is the distributed data processing of the transmitted data. This article discusses approaches to the use of blockchain technology in ITS. It explores the use of blockchain in modern transport industries. Particularly, the paper proposes a novel approach to the maintenance of public transportation vehicles or buses. The specificity of the proposed approach is the autonomous control of the technical condition using information systems. When using blockchain technology, building a transparent vehicle fleet management system is possible. The specificity of the proposed approach lies in the approach to data processing: in the organization, confidence in data increases, the possibility of manipulating transportation is eliminated, and the decision-making chain is reduced. As a result, the system can manage itself. It also helps to increase the service life of vehicles, makes it possible to predict their malfunctions and improves the quality of data on their technical condition. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). This paper presents a meta-reinforcement learning approach for quadrotor UAV attitude control, addressing the limitations of traditional control methods in complex, dynamic, and uncertain environments. Our method integrates the advantages of context learning, Gaussian sampling, and multi-task training to rapidly adapt to diverse aircraft parameters and environmental conditions. Specifically, we utilize historical information quadruples as contextual data to accurately estimate current task characteristics through real-time observation and learning. In the latent space, we employ Gaussian sampling to effectively handle unknown UAV parameters. To validate the method’s efficacy, we conducted a series of experiments in the Bullet simulator, including single attitude tracking, resultant acceleration control, and continuous trajectory tracking. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach significantly outperforms traditional PID controllers and domain randomization-based SAC methods in terms of stability, rapid response, and trajectory tracking precision. Through multi-task training, our controller has developed the ability to swiftly adapt to novel situations. This research provides a robust and flexible solution for adaptive control of quadrotor UAVs, showing promise for more efficient and stable flight control in complex and dynamically changing environments. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

WinCC is a commonly used industrial control configuration software, which can be easily used to construct monitoring screens for distributed systems, dynamically displaying the operating status, real-time, duration curves and reports, upper and lower limit alarms, etc. of control equipment. This article introduces the composition of the entire production line and the design scheme of computer monitoring. Then, taking one station in the production line as an example, it introduces how to use WinCC software to simulate the control of the production line from the selection of software and hardware, hardware configuration, software and hardware communication methods, software configuration methods, sensor signal settings, software and hardware action synchronization program design, etc. The production line monitoring system can achieve good synchronization with the actions of various stations on site, and can also intuitively observe the transmission process of various input and output signals from the screen, which has important reference significance for real-time monitoring of similar production lines.

Modern intelligent transportation systems and autonomous driving technologies are quite helpful in light of the population's increasing growth, and they work particularly well when used in conjunction with traffic sign monitoring. By giving drivers accurate and exact traffic signals, such as speed limits, warnings, and directional assistance, this makes transportation much safer. Autonomous vehicles must correctly understand these indicators in order to make wise driving judgments. Accurately identifying and classifying a wide variety of traffic signs in a range of environmental circumstances is a difficulty. A cutting-edge deep learning model created specifically for object recognition tasks is called YOLOv9 (You Only Look Once version 9).In addition to offering respectable speed and accuracy, YOLOv9 expands on the advantages of its predecessors by implementing cutting-edge strategies such as PGI and *** of these improvements, YOLOv9 is especially ideal for real-time applications like recognition of traffic signs, where more accuracy and quick and accurate object identification are essential. With an increased accuracy the results demonstrate the model's stability and dependability and show that it is appropriate for real-world uses in autonomous driving and traffic control. Subsequent investigations will concentrate on improving resilience in various situations, utilizing semi-supervised learning, creating more resource-efficient models, broadening the range of datasets, and combining traffic sign recognition with additional autonomous driving tasks. The development of dependable and effective traffic sign detection systems is furthered by this work. © 2025 IEEE.

As digital transformation advances, Data Centers are crucial in supporting global digital infrastructure but contribute substantially to energy consumption and carbon emissions. Green Data Center technologies emerged to address such sustainability challenges, integrating energy-efficient designs, renewable energy, and waste heat recovery solutions. The review explores advancements in sustainable Data Centers, focusing on Building Information Modelling (BIM), Digital Twins (DTs), and intelligent management systems, that help mitigating environmental impacts. BIM and DTs support realtime monitoring, predictive analysis, and optimized energy management, helping operators minimize cooling needs, reduce inefficiencies, and maximize renewable energy *** interest in renewable energy sources such as solar power is increasing, highlighting hydrogen fuel cells potential in providing a scalable, low-emission alternative to conventional backup power. Waste heat recovery also plays a crucial role in Green Data Centers, with initiatives repurposing heat for district heating, industrial processes, and building heating. Current applications include Data Centers where heat recovery systems supply residential heating, support algae farms, and enhance university campus *** energy efficiency, Green Data Centers contribute to smart grid stability. Load-shifting capabilities enable power usage to be adjusted during peak and off-peak times, enhancing grid resilience and promoting sustainability. High-altitude platforms (HAPs), are becoming a viable option for long-term and cost-effective tasks like environmental monitoring, surveillance, and telecommunications. Tethered HAPs provide better stability, power supply, and data transmission capabilities because they are physically tethered to the ground. Addressing the reliability of a tethered HAP system as a phased mission system (PMS) is crucial due to the integration of many phases, such as launch station-keeping, and descent. Each phase presents unique performance requirements and environmental challenges. Ensuring reliability at every stage is essential for the success of the mission and the safety of operations over the entire lifespan of the system. This article addresses the feasibility and necessity of conducting a reliability analysis of tethered HAP systems, specifically considering them as PMSs with distinct operational stages. The authors of this article discuss the holistic method of automation of gardening operations based on IoT technology that allows real time environmental factors to be monitored, decisions to be made based on data, and those decisions to be executed at a distance. The objective of the system is to minimize the amount of water used, to improve the state of the plants, and ultimately to allow the users of the system to control their gardens from anywhere in the world with as little effort as possible. The concept makes use of the continuously monitored network of sensors to observe important parameters like soil moisture, temperature, humidity, light intensity and rainfall among others. After being received, this information is up to date and the system will use this data to manage irrigation and lighting systems for the plants efficiently. Also, the support of this cloudbased platform is essential today as it allows the users to look up the parameters in their garden remotely and go for manual intervention when required. All the advantages of cloud technology provide remote control of the system but also all the historical data sets which are important trends in future decision making. © 2025 IEEE.

This project meets the current important demand for the constant monitoring of environmental conditions because climate change and human activities affect ecosystems. Temperature and humidity are measured using the DHT11/DHT22 sensor connected to the ESP8266 microcontroller and the GPS module is used to obtaining the location information. In contrast to current approaches targeting the communication data or energy consumption only, the contaminants of this system are unified, location-based, and central. It provides immediate data transfer to the cloud through a comfortable low power interface for usage in farming, transportation, and more for environmental monitoring. The findings show that all the environmental conditions and location change can be monitored by the IoT-based system which use ESP32/Arduino microcontroller for sensing data by a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi through cloud platform or server and it gives alert message to web interface or mobile application when temperature increases or decreases more than threshold values. This practical system is especially valuable for those areas of interest that require a constant check, such as environmental control or the logistics and health safety of the transported goods or passengers.

distributed photovoltaic power generation assumes a pivotal role in the current national economic development, environmental protection, energy security, and social progress. In line with the requirements of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality” of the state, the State Grid has formulated an action plan to support the grid connection of distributed photovoltaic power and accelerate the upgrading of the power grid to an energy internet. This paper has developed a smart service terminal for distributed photovoltaic users. Through drawing inspiration from relevant literature, technologies such as remote control of grid-connection switches, the power internet of things, intelligent voice interaction technology, and AI image recognition technology have been organically integrated into the distributed photovoltaic user service equipment. The user smart service terminal device has achieved the anticipated research objectives, realized intelligent online monitoring and management of the safe operation of distributed photovoltaic grid connection, enhanced the management level of new user services, and provided technical support for the State Grid Corporation to construct a new power system with new energy as the main body.

Fire fighter machine is generally used for controlling the fire. The basic design for the machine is made up of only Arduino UNO and its sensors. The paper is presenting an extensive design, development, and evaluation phases for an automated fire fighting vehicle (AFFV) powered by Arduino technology. The AFFV is equipped with intelligent control systems and sensor networks to autonomously navigate through challenging terrains and detect fires in hazardous environments. Leveraging Arduino microcontrollers, the vehicle integrates various sensors including infrared and ultrasonic sensors for real-time environmental monitoring and obstacle detection. A robust chassis design enables the AFFV to maneuver through confined spaces commonly encountered in firefighting scenarios. The vehicle’s fire suppression mechanism utilizes water discharge systems and thermal imaging sensors to detect and extinguish fires promptly, reducing risks to human lives. Simulated firefighting scenarios were conducted to evaluate the AFFV’s performance in responsiveness, accuracy, and reliability. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of the Arduino-powered AFFV in enhancing firefighting capabilities and mitigating the impact of fire incidents. This study contributes to the advancement of autonomous firefighting technologies, offering a promising solution to combat fires efficiently while ensuring the safety of firefighting personnel. Future work will focus on refining the AFFV design and exploring additional functionalities to address evolving firefighting challenges. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
