Greenhouse is an artificial growth environment for building crops. Through intelligent control and optimization of the growth environment of crops in greenhouse, crops can always be in the best environmental conditions at different growth stages. Greenhouse based on Internet of Things technology can change the limitation of traditional agriculture by many factors such as region, natural environment, climate and so on, which is of great significance to agricultural production. China has the world's third largest land area and the world's largest population, but China's arable land area is insufficient and has a decreasing trend year by year. Food supply is facing prominent problems. The traditional greenhouse monitoring system uses wired form, which not only increases the complexity of greenhouse lines, but also is detrimental to crop growth. The intelligent control technology of crop greenhouse environment provides a new power for agricultural intelligence. The greenhouse based on Internet of things technology breaks through the limitation of traditional agriculture by many factors such as region, natural environment, climate and so on. © 2021 ACM.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new standard that has transformed the traditional way of life into a high-tech lifestyle. Smart cities, smart homes, pollution control, energy saving, smart transportation, and smart industries are such transformations due to IoT. The IoT system tries to associate with almost all devices at any place. A broad variety of industries is deploying IoT solutions to make the next level of visibility and improved efficiencies. Attackers are forever on the lookout for brand new ways to compromise systems and gain access to information stores and systems. Mostly, gadgets are inclined to vulnerable attacks because of the straightforward and open nature of their networks. This paper gives an overview of the ongoing status and worries of Internet of things (IoT) security and we have focused on mitigating the brute-force attack and performed real-time cases to secure the readings of the sensors stored. This research presents an outline of safety security challenges, proposed countermeasures, and the future bearings for getting the IoT.

The Solar Powered Drip Irrigation Method was designed to reduce agricultural water consumption. The proposed module utilizes a microcontroller and several sensors such as soil moisture sensors put in root system belts, temperature sensors, and ultrasonic sensors positioned at the tank's roof. The water volume in the tank is maintained using the on and off operation of the pump. Then the moisture content and temperature are regulated by opening and closing of the solenoid valve. A Wi-Fi module is connected to the control unit that processes sensor data, initiates actuators, and broadcasts data over the internet, allowing the user to watch the farm in real-time from whatever distant area. The programmed code was designed depending on the soil moisture, humidity, and temperature values and is programmed into the central controller to regulate the amount of water delivered to the area for irrigation and the pump to fill the water in the tank. Renewable solar power the entire system. The sensing unit, actuating unit, and the central control unit are wired together, and the control unit communicates with the app through a wireless link. The primary goal of the research is to reduce the farmer's manual intervention, which saves money and resources. © 2022 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system where everyday objects, like wearables and home devices, are equipped with sensors and software to collect and share data through the internet. These gadgets may be whatever from smartphones, clever domestic appliances, wearable gadgets, commercial equipment, to automobiles and infrastructure components. The idea in the back of IoT is to allow those gadgets to speak and engage with every different and with humans, growing a continuing and interconnected system. By connecting bodily items and permitting them to gather and proportion statistics, IoT targets to make our environments smarter, greater efficient, and greater responsive. IoT gadgets generally encompass sensors or actuators that accumulate statistics from their environment or carry out actions, a processing unit that handles statistics processing and decision-making, and a communique module that permits them to connect with the net and different gadgets. The statistics gathered via way of means of those gadgets may be analyzed and used to offer insights, automate processes, enhance efficiency, and decorate decision-making. IoT programs encompass clever houses with linked thermostats, lights systems, and safety cameras; wearable health trackers that display and examine fitness statistics; clever towns with linked infrastructure including visitor’s lights, waste control systems, and environmental sensors; and commercial programs like predictive upkeep.

With the rapid development of 5G technology, the security system has begun to develop towards intelligence in an all-around way. At present, most kindergartens still use the most basic monitoring system, which lacks the function of the intelligent part and cannot prevent the occurrence of danger in time. Based on this, this paper designs two modules based on Arduino: fingerprint access control and sensor network. In this design, Arduino is simulated as the main core of the whole kindergarten indoor security system, which controls the working state of all indoor sensor modules, and can monitor the environmental parameters of indoor sensors (gas sensors, human infrared sensors, flame sensors, temperature, and humidity sensors, etc.) in real-time through the upper computer [1] . Once the detected data exceeds the set threshold, an alarm will be processed. At the same time, fingerprint access control has the functions of adding fingerprints, deleting fingerprints, and verifying fingerprints, and can open the door after verifying fingerprints [1] .

In the domain of oceanography, monitoring of environment parameters has a huge role to play. For those kind of critical monitoring, Underwater Wireless Sensor Network is apt. In routing operation of UWSN, the environmental information is collected and transferred from the bottom of the ocean to the surface station with the help of set of sensor nodes which are distributed over the monitoring regions. But, the main challenge is the limited battery power of the sensor terminals which can drain quickly if the sensor node operates for the longer period of time. This will have bigger impact on the reliability of the routing in UWS Ns. Hence, there is a need for the energy harvesting solutions in UWSNs to remove the dependency which currently exists between the sensor nodes and the battery power. So, in this article, the overview of the routing protocols and the energy harvesting architecture were presented which will help the future researchers working in the energy harvesting for underwater wireless sensor networks. © 2021 IEEE.

Mining 4.0 signifies a paradigm shift within the mining sector and is defined as an all-encompassing strategy for industry revolution by optimizing mining processes through the utilization of digital technologies, automation, and data analytics to streamline processes. Mining 4.0 aims to develop intelligent and networked mining systems that enhance resource utilization, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate environmental harm, all while prioritizing the safety and welfare of workers. The process of mining digitization encompasses the methodical collection, management, and monitoring of data derived from diverse sources, including sensors, equipment, vehicles, and more. It permits remote, realtime monitoring of environmental and operational conditions, as well as the integration of control systems designed to optimize and automate processes. With digital transformation, the mining sector aspires to overcome conventional obstacles and adjust to changing market requirements, therefore facilitating a more sustainable and efficient future. A critical challenge in the process of digitizing the mining sector is the need to provide reliable routes for transmitting and communicating data between physical and digital components within mining environments. This paper examines the convergence of Mining 4.0 and mining digitization, with a specific emphasis on the pivotal role that remote sensing, edge computing, and decentralized communication systems play in data transmission and real-time monitoring in light of enhancing mining operations' safety and efficiency. The study performed puts forward a European solution based on open standards and tools, revolving around an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Gateway that is a core component of the proposed communication system. Gas leaks are the main cause of industrial fires and accidents. These cause countless fatalities, equipment damage, and other severe environmental effects. In this paper, we provide a framework for the monitoring and detection of methane leakage using a diffusion model based on the gas diffusion theory. Given that centralized Least Square methods are not efficient and robust as they require the gathering and processing of large-scale measurements on a central node. We propose a detection technique which makes use of the distributed (Non-linear) least squares method to overcome this problem. Then, a network of connected methane sensors is used to detect gas leaks. In order to estimate the parameters of the diffusive model for the gas leakage on each sensor node, a distributed recursive estimator of the consensus plus an innovation type technique is used. The characteristics being estimated include the gas source’s distance, which will be effectively triangulated to determine the source’s precise location. The targeted location is subsequently estimated using a location dispersed algorithm-based LS.

Aiming at the difficulties of slow heating rate, slow temperature response, easy to be affected by ambient temperature and low precision in the heating process of manual peritoneal dialysis auxiliary equipment, this paper deeply analyzes the heating control process of the equipment, designs a temperature adaptive control method of auxiliary dialysis equipment based on RBF neural network, and explores the efficient heating control system of auxiliary dialysis equipment. On the basis of collecting a large number of actual data in the heating process, the intelligent data processing algorithm is introduced. The RBF neural network algorithm is used to adaptively compensate the dialysate temperature, and the temperature detection value without compensation is compared. The temperature adaptive control method of auxiliary dialysis equipment based on RBF neural network can adjust the control parameters in real time and accurately, solve the problems of slow heating speed and low temperature accuracy caused by easy environmental impact and uneven heating in the heating process, and realize real-time accurate monitoring of dialysate temperature. The treatment accuracy reaches $\pm \mathbfenvironmental\ {{}^{\circ}\mathbf{C}}$ , with high stability and heating efficiency. The temperature control effect is significantly improved, ensuring the safety and comfort of the product. It has significant application value for clinical treatment of peritoneal dialysis.

In fast expanding cities, urban traffic congestion creates major problems for general transportation efficiency and emergency response times. Using real-time sensor data and cloud analytics, this study offers an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled Smart Traffic Signaling System that dynamically prioritizes emergency vehicles and improves traffic flow. The system uses NodeMCU ESP8266 for wireless data transfer to the ThingSpeak cloud platform, Arduino Nano microcontroller for local signal control, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) readers for emergency vehicle identification, and Infrared (IR) sensors for vehicle detection. The device also tracks pedestrian pathway infractions and records them to the cloud for enforcement. Prototype testing revealed great performance with 95% vehicle identification accuracy, 98% emergency vehicle prioritization efficiency, and 97% cloud-based integration reliability. This study offers a useful and efficient tool for smart traffic control in smart metropolitan areas by tackling important concerns such environmental robustness, sensor fusion, real-time flexibility, and scalability.
