Industrial environmental security, as one of the most fundamental and challenging problems in Soft PLC control, has received great attention in recent years. Most Soft PLC software has its own operating system, which is not easy to control for managers. This paper proposes a new industrial environmental security monitoring system based on android and discusses the whole architecture and data transition between software and hardware. At the same time, this system adopts the SVM algorithm for warning prediction to get high-accuracy. In android application, users can monitor system status anywhere. In addition, the architecture in this system is transparent for the users and devices, which means the model can be widely used in various industrial control situation. © 2020 IEEE.

This paper studies the possibilities of fusing the concepts of smart environments and continuous and discrete systems simulation into a single system where identification of parameters, dynamics modelling and the choice of adequate control actions can be performed in real-time. The goal is to develop a model of a distributed IoT system capable of intelligent and dynamic adjusting of structure and system parameters with respect to the set goals. This goal is achieved in two phases. In the first phase, the modelling of the nodes in the smart environment is performed through defining interconnected IoT devices that can gather data via sensors, perform control actions via actuators, and perform basic computing operations. In the second phase, hierarchical modelling of smart environments is performed by developing complex mathematical models that use collected data to calculate performance indicators, perform simulations, initiate control actions and support decision making. Both phases are supported by specific software components, some running in the cloud and some distributed on the edge devices. The developed approach is applied for modelling the system for traffic noise monitoring in a smart city. © 2020 IEEE.

With the development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) composed of multiple sensor nodes (SNs) have been able to provide a large number of high-quality services, such as continuous environmental monitoring, automatic control, and transmission of data for intelligent decision-making. SNs in WSNs are typically energy limited and often exist in large numbers, which are widely distributed in hard-to-reach areas. Hence, it is difficult to collect data from SNs without infrastructure support such as base stations (BSs). The low cost and high maneuverability of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) provide an efficient solution for data acquisition in WSNs but with the challenge of control system of the UAV. In this paper, we proposed a deep reinforcement learning based UAV control system to intelligently solve the data harvesting problem in WSNs. Our optimization target is to jointly optimize the trajectory of the UAV and the bandwidth resources of the airborne base station to maximize the data acquisition success rate when the UAV is limited in energy. The objective function and constraints of this problem are highly non-convex. To solve this problem, we first modeled the movement of the UAV and the bandwidth allocation of the airborne base station in each time slot as a Markov decision process (MDP). Then we designed a deep reinforcement learning architecture to solve the above MDP. Compared with the existing data harvesting algorithms, the proposed method has a great improvement in data acquisition success rate.

In view of the problems in the development of livestock and poultry breeding industry in China, such as tight constraints on production resources, rising costs, livestock and poultry epidemic, product quality and safety, environmental pollution, this study proposed a smart meat rabbit breeding system based on Internet of things technology for medium and large-scale meat rabbit farms and small-scale breeding investors. Through the monitoring of breeding environmental factors and the control of equipment, we can achieve fine feeding, disease early warning and scientific breeding, improve production efficiency and reduce breeding risk.

In metropolitan cities, outdoor air pollution and ambient outdoor noise transmission are significant environmental hazards, degrading indoor environmental quality. Natural ventilation is often a viable option for diluting indoor air pollutants, but transportation noise transmission is a crucial ecological conflict. Therefore, personal control over the concentration of outdoor/indoor air pollutants and noise levels is a significant threshold for natural ventilation availability. This study proposes real-time data detection and notification solutions using sensors and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve indoor air quality and outdoor air quality and outdoor noise transmission. An intelligent real-time detection and notification system was implemented in a distributed computing framework with cloud and edge computing. The objective of this study is placed on three facets: (1) development of sensors and NVIDIA Jetson Nano prototype for air quality and noise level detection, (2) application of machine learning for air quality and noise level prediction and classification, and (3) web interface for real-time monitoring and prediction for air quality and noise level detection. The results showed that the proposed user interface provides building occupants with real-time data of outdoor/indoor Air Quality Index (AQI) and noise levels for the optimized occupant control over Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). The personal control over indoor environmental quality (IEQ) enables occupants to promote natural ventilation behaviors and integrate with the existing building system on optimized IEQ by interacting with AI-based real-time data.

Through the analysis of the microgrid architecture under the access of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things and the current construction of the peak shaving auxiliary service market, the feasibility, necessity and economy of the microgrid participating in the peak shaving auxiliary service market are demonstrated. To processing plant-wide data, it is not uncommon for there to be issues with sensors. Some examples of these issues include sensor failures, sensor calibration difficulties, sensor fouling and blockage, and connection problems between sensors, actuators, and the data management system. These problems may have an effect on the quality of the data, which will make it more difficult to implement sophisticated data-driven monitoring and control of (crucial) water operations. A method for the intelligent validation of data is provided in this article. The sensor data coming from a wastewater treatment plant are validated and verified by this process. The application for data validation has been integrated, tested, and put into production at the water utility known as Water Net. The method of validation is predicated on an anomaly detector that, in the event that an anomaly is found, combines (statistical) threshold-based procedures, (AI-based) autoencoder model predictions, and a component for data reconciliation. This occurrence repeats itself whenever an anomaly of some kind is found. In spite of the signal's volatility, the autoencoder models displayed outstanding levels of accuracy and great reconciliation performance. In addition, signals for both verified and raw data are provided in a way that is extremely near to real time to a dashboard. This keeps the dashboard up to date with the most recent information. Validated data may also be utilized as a screening tool for data that is being ingested by another AI-based model in order to monitor and intelligently manage the wastewater treatment plant, as well as to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption while maintaining effluent water quality requirements. These goals may be accomplished while still meeting all applicable criteria. If this were done, it would be in compliance with the regulations for maintaining the effluent water's quality.

The current indoor Internet of Things (IoT) system is mainly realized by presetting rules, voice interaction, or remote control, which fails to meet the need for systematic, global, and autonomous intelligence. The cost of high-quality large-scale data annotation is also too high, which hinders the effective application of supervised learning paradigm in such scenarios. Therefore, unsupervised or reinforcement learning is worthy of consideration for the future IoT system. In view of the large-scale organization and deployment, high dynamic coordination, and precise service requirement of the future IoT system, this study constructs a perceptual data acquisition platform to obtain the indoor intelligent IoT datasets suitable for unsupervised or reinforcement learning. First, various environment-aware and controllable electrical devices are deployed in a multi-person office area that is divided into multiple zones. The devices are connected to the edge gateway through long range radio (LoRa) wireless network, and an message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) cloud server is constructed to realize the design of cloud edge collaborative architecture. Then, two kinds of information, namely, environment and controlled action, are collected in real time without human perception, which forms and publicizes complete datasets, including time, space, environmental parameters, and control actions. On the basis of the datasets, relevant data analysis is conducted and preliminary experimental results using unsupervised learning method are presented.

In this paper, by studying the intelligent screening model of data center which integrates blockchain technology and data mapping theory, we adopt the design method of distributed multi-agent intelligent system build the data space management system model.

The paper considers the problem of assessing the ecological state of the environment in the region. An approach to the intelligent analysis and estimation of anthropo-technogenic pollution of a territory with the application of integral indicators which take into account environmental pollution is proposed. To estimate the integral indicator parameters, distributed group expertise technology is used, supporting a mechanism for control of expert estimates consistency, taking into account experts' competency in the relevant subject areas. Using the proposed approach, the problem of risk assessment of environmental impact of chemical air pollutants has been solved. Methods for control of expert estimates consistency based on the procedure of feedback with experts made it possible to increase the reliability of evaluation results and also to decrease the influence of a random expert error on the final assessment. The obtained aggregated risk estimates were used to construct, calculate and visualize the integral indicator of radioactive and chemical contamination of the districts of Bryansk region. © 2020 for this paper by its authors.
