The fog computing paradigm presents an extension of the cloud computing in order to more ensure the requirements of Internet of things (IoT). Hence, the growth of fog-IoT system and their openness to their socioeconomic environment has led to new needs in terms of security. There are many damages resulting from security breaches and violations. In order to address these challenges, this article proposes a novel framework to further enhance the data security and privacy and the system performance, for the IoT users trying to connect to fog network. In fact, a trust-based monitoring strategy is suggested to avoid system's damages and attacks, and also to maintain low latency, because it is easier to avoid damage resulting from security breaches than to wait for a violation and to try to restore and repair the damage caused. The findings of our evaluation indicate that the proposed monitoring process is an efficient solution for system supervision, and detection and prevention attacks, with a fast processing time.

The existing aerospace power supply and distribution system is difficult to deal with the fault of a single machine in real time, and the timeliness is difficult to ensure. If the fault with potential serious harm cannot be isolated and dealt with in time, the best period of fault treatment will often be missed. In this paper, a satellite intelligent distribution path architecture based on matrix switch is proposed. Through the effective combination of solid-state power switch, interface circuit, current sensor and host computer software, the switch in the matrix is controlled to realize the construction of distribution path and active management of power energy flow under the distributed architecture. Combined with the functional requirements of the distribution channel defined by the traditional hardware and the application characteristics of the new architecture, the design and application experience of the new matrix distribution channel architecture in the aspects of satellite distribution flexibility, intelligence, fault diagnosis and omni-directional operation information monitoring of pre judged power supply and distribution system are summarized, it provides technical reference and theoretical support for the innovation of flexible and intelligent distribution system defined by subsequent software.

Narrow Band Internet of Things has the characteristics of wide coverage, strong penetration, low power consumption and low cost. Based on the technical characteristics of NB-loT, the use of this technology in indoor ventilation system can fundamentally enhance the control coordination and intelligence of the system, besides, it can also optimize air quality and reduce energy consumption. This paper analyzes and introduces an intelligent indoor ventilation system based on the new industry standard and an environmental parameter and intelligent control scheme based on NB-loT technology for remote acquisition of distributed temperature and air flow. Corresponding solutions have also been proposed for the problem of the air supply system, such as the value of the solution, its advantages and expectations for the future. © 2020 IEEE.

In view of the complexity combustion process of three-waste boiler, designed the distributed control System based on Windows control Center configuration software and Programmable Logic controller. The system controls and manages the whole three-waste boiler production process, which is composed with three upper monitor, tow Programmable Logic controller, communication module and field control unit. The upper monitor chooses Windows control Center configuration software of Siemens Company to design various monitoring menu and set the parameters of backstage, and receive various dates which is transferred by Programmable Logic controller to finish monitoring and diagnosis and control task of the whole system. It uses the PROFIBUS-DP communication protocol between the upper monitor and Programmable Logic controller of the lower position. This system is flexible deployed and reliable. After three year of engineering application, this system, realized by this paper, have effectively solved the complex control object in the production process of three-waster boiler, and it correspond to the relevant provisions of our country about energy-saving emission reduction and environmental protection of the enterprise.

intelligent technology is playing a more important role to our daily life. Applying of new technology to clothes drying machine attracts great interest. An intelligent clothes drying machine with environmental data monitoring and human-machine interaction is innovatively designed, which will be good accessibility. The structure includes an umbrella frame used to hang clothes, and a 12-bars space linkage mechanism, which can realize stretching and shrinking of clothes hanger and clamping of clothes fixation t. Based on the remote control system an electric actuator can intelligently control 20 clothes-drying racks, and the lifting and lowering of the whole clothes-drying platform was realized by using a fixed set of pulleys. The multifunctional clothes drying machine has the advantages of reliability, high space utilization ratio, distinguishing for dry and wet clothes, high intelligence, etc. which can solve the problems such as the narrow space, long drying time. © 2020 ACM.

A smart kitchen system taking STC89C52RC as the Micro control Unit (MCU) and regarding Keil uVision 4, DXP2004, as the assistant design software is studied in this paper. This system is composed of temperature and humidity sensor, flame sensor, buzzer, relay, combustible gas sensor, photosensitive sensor, NRF24L01 wireless communication module, and liquid crystal display module. This design can detect the illumination intensity, temperature and humidity, combustible gas concentration, and flame brightness of the kitchen in real-time and display its numerical value on the LCD screen. This system not only can be used for monitoring the environmental safety of the kitchen but can also be used for monitoring the environment of rental houses. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2020.

The dangers caused by fires are very great, causing property damage, casualties and environmental damage. Rapid detection of fire hazards and prompt response measures are the best means to reduce the damage caused by fire. The distributed plant fire alarm system can quickly detect the fire and issue an alarm to reduce the damage caused by the fire. The fire alarm system is a control system that integrates signal detection, transmission, processing and control. It mainly completes the basic functions of fire, smoke and temperature module monitoring fire, and studies the multi-point communication of nRF2401 wireless transceiver module to realize the function of transmitting data at multiple points simultaneously. Qt is used to create a back-end system and operation interface to write user and monitoring information to the database. © 2020 IEEE.

To improve the efficiency of analyzing the massive amount of monitoring data collected from an air quality monitoring system, a method based on Hive data warehouse to store data as ORC file format then create Row Group Index and Bloom Filter Index is proposed to optimize the query of air quality big data. The air quality monitoring data from the environmental monitoring center of Hubei province was taken as a research object. After the data was transferred to Hive, Spark was used to query and analyze data. Five queries were carried out on three datasets to conduct the comparison experiment between the method proposed in this paper and the method of storing data as TextFile by default on Hive. The results show that the optimization method based on Hive-ORC and its indexes reduces the storage space of big data by 90% and reduces its query time by 86%. What's more, better optimization effect can be achieved with the increase of data volume. © 2020 IEEE.

Sustainable development of megacities requires a transition to the new management methods and technologies, based on the wide use of a large amount of heterogeneous data. Managing the urban economy needs to consider environmental restrictions, environmental monitoring tasks, engineering facilities, and transport. Operational control over the urban environment and the surrounding area can be produced using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and the collected data can be processed using a wide range of software and hardware technologies related to the field of artificial intelligence. However, along with any fairly new technology, intelligent unmanned technologies have both advantages and disadvantages. Strengths are mobility and efficiency, relative cheapness, the possibility of a high degree of automation, whereas weaknesses are short flight time, dependence on weather conditions, the certain outstanding tasks of data management and processing. This paper considers the possibilities of using intelligent unmanned technologies based on UAVs for solving the problems of monitoring the urban environment of the Kazakhstan megalopolises. Consideration is also being given to the scope for extending possibilities of applying these technologies to the field of environmental monitoring, monitoring of hazardous geological processes, technical constructions and vehicles. Furthermore, technological and economic issues, as well as necessary data processing technologies, are discussed. The economic effect of the use of IUVAT is estimated at $ 70-200 million, but it requires solving a set of data processing, control and technical problems. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

A Smart Grid (SG) is an electrical infrastructure much like legacy power grid with scalable and pervasive two-way communications, timely control capabilities, large scale integration of distributed resources and efficient use of resources. The SG provides the features of pervasive smart monitoring technologies, automatic equipment fault sensing and self-healing. The features like `Wireless Automatic Meter Reading' (WAMR), monitoring of power system stability, distributed energy resources optimization and applications of Demand Response system makes it intelligent infrastructure. Given some of these salient features, SGs without any doubt are the future power infrastructure of energy world. A smart grid has ability to connect millions of consumers and devices in a network which demand it to be highly robust, reliable and secure. Security is considered as one of the major challenges in the present-day smart grid systems because of its long-range communication on open networks. Cybercriminals, hackers, terrorists are trying to attack this national infrastructure due to their malicious intensions or to get control on the automated energy monitoring and remote controlling for personal gains. This review paper offers a comprehensive survey of understanding of Smart Grids, architecture of SGs, methodologies used, the communication protocols but the focus is mainly on the cyber-attacks carried out and solutions recommended on the smart grids. We finally discuss the various challenges in cyber security, the issues that still exist in the literature and current solution space with future research gap.
