The effort to reduce the amount of waste electrical usage can be conducted through the building automation that enables controlling and monitoring system of electricity usage. In this research, a control system using fuzzy techniques as automatic control for energy management in smart building and use sensors to recognize the presence and activity of the occupants as well as the environmental illumination conditions. The results of this study showed an efficiency of 25% as a result of controlling the electrical equipment automatically. Given this efficiency will result in savings in the payment of bills by the occupants. It also impact on government with their savings in subsidies issued for the supply of fuel in power generation and also had an impact on the environment that can reduce CO2 emissions

With the rapid development of computer technology and information control theory, information systems become more complex and intelligent. Transportation hub monitoring system, nuclear power control system, environmental monitoring system, and other large systems have evolved from the traditional control mode to digital control mode. Because digital information interaction interfaces are characterized by the large quantity of information and complicated information relationships, operators may enter the complex cognition and lead to task failures and even serious system failures or major accidents due to operators' slipping, misreading, misjudgment, late feedback, and other cognitive difficulties. It is urgent to obtain the rational design way of dynamic and digital information in the interaction interface. This paper aims to analyze interaction mechanism between error and cognition and explore the physiological reaction mechanism for error factors of information interaction interface during the visual cognition from the perspective of the cause of task failures, error factors. The project results can provide theoretical supports for the rational design of digital information interface and guarantee the full performance and accurate implementation of large systems.

According to the status quo of poultry breeding, an intelligent poultry house environmental control system was developed. The system design is based on the three-tier architecture of the Internet of Things: sensing layer, transmission layer and application layer. The network model adopts total star structure and is monitored by a server. The center dispatches and manages multiple subordinate monitoring substations. This article introduces the system overall design idea, expounds the function and principle of the system, completes the design and implementation of the server monitoring center and the lower computer monitoring substation. The experimental results show that the system can automatically collect and analyze environmental parameters such as air temperature and humidity, light intensity, wind speed, and air quality in the poultry house, so that the environment of the poultry house can be reasonably controlled and the environment parameters of the poultry house can be in a state of dynamic balance.

This paper studies the craft of the biomass briquette solid molding fuel, and determines the overall layout of the small-sized wood-pellet briquetting production line with an annual output of 6000 tons. Based on PROFIBUS-DP field bus and S7-300PLC as the main station, the overall architecture is proposed and the detailed design is carried out of control system. By means of MCGS configuration software, the remote monitoring system of the upper computer is designed. Finally, the automatic operation of the briquetting production line is realized.

This research is carried out mainly through the method of IoT and particle filter applications. We collected the information by looking through the homepages of the world famous IoT appliances brands on the internet. And we combined the collected information in the literature investigating how to combine to particle filters for monitoring base communication station remotely. The developed system collects environmental data of wireless communication base station using several sensors, analyzes the collected data using particle filters, and controls the remotely base station. As a wireless remote control method, we implemented Bluetooth, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Finally, it is designed for users to enable remote control and monitoring when the user is not in the base station.

In the existing milieu of contemporarily smart cities, the traffic situation is very saturated explicitly in the advanced industrial and populated cities that becomes worst at the rush hours. As population and correspondingly required number of vehicles are also increasing in cities, it is problematic for citizens at the major traffic points of these big cities. It is not only causing travelling delays, accidents and their corresponding emergency response services, traffic jams, parking availability but also contributing heavily to environmental air and noise pollution as well as health threats due to pollution produced by vehicle combustion. Many urban societies are now actualizing smart frameworks for traffic control that work on the standards of traffic automation with prevention of the previously mentioned issues, to keep away from such serious problems but, as per best of our knowledge, no single model deals with such issues comprehensively. The prime idea lies in collecting the current locations of vehicles immediately and suggesting the optimal route to the vehicle from departure node to destination node using optimal path finding algorithm before starting the journey, mainly focusing on reducing the Congestion, greenhouse gases emission and fuel expenditure and also providing the alternate plan to vehicles at any point of journey. In this context, a smart traffic monitoring and controlling framework has been proposed that can perform fast information communication and their concerning actions. In the said model, under a VANET (Vehicular Ad-hoc Network) scenario, the proposed Traffic management paradigm implements a smart signaling system along with optimal path finding algorithm to control congestion to regularly unify the traffic flow by avoiding the congestion at the smart township zones. The intelligent-agriculture control system is implemented under the precondition of ecological data analysis. The control system of the intelligent agriculture is composed of five parts, including the hardware parts, the local control terminal, the programmable terminal, server and the remote-control terminal. Among them, the hardware part is designed the shape structure, the controlled equipment and all kinds of environmental sensors are installed in the internal. The local terminal is in the core of STC12 series single chip microcomputer. It can implement the independent-operation system. The programmable terminal is PC control program written in C Sharp, it has realized the computer-controlled system. The server uses the PHP WebSocket framework services, implements the user controlling and data forwarding. The remote-control terminal is the Web front terminal, including HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript. The core is the WebSocket that realizes the real-time communication of the server. The intelligent agricultural control system uses B/S and C/S architecture. It can support the local monitoring and the multi-platform remote monitoring. It has two kinds of manual and automatic control modes and can be more flexible to monitor environment and control system according to the need. © 2018 Association for Computing Machinery.

Distribution transformers are one of the most important equipment in power system network. As large number of distribution transformers distributed over a wide area in power electric system, the preventive diagnosis and maintenance of these transformers have become more and more essential in recent time in order to improve the reliability of electric power systems. Most of the distribution transformers in field actually fail due to leakages in transformer oil, overloading, sudden rise in temperature and lack of timely maintenance. To overcome such problem proper monitoring of distribution transformer health status from remote end is necessary. This paper presents the techniques used for monitoring the health status of distribution transformer from remote end. The intelligent condition monitoring system is developed using single board computer and data acquisition system which senses different parameters and communicated to the remote end using internet facility. The health status and economical aspect of distribution transformer with intelligent condition monitoring system which provides necessary information about operating condition for analysis. The performance of intelligent condition monitoring system is tested on specially designed 15 kVA distribution transformer in the laboratory. Distribution transformers with intelligent condition monitoring system can be provided for maintenance as and when required. © 2018 IEEE.

Wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) is arc welding-based additive manufacture which is providing a major opportunity for the aerospace industry to reduce buy-to-fly ratios from 20:1 with forging and machining to 5:1 with WAAM. The WAAM method can build a wide range of near net shapes from a variety of high-grade (metallic) materials at high deposition speeds without the need for costly moulds. However, current WAAM methods and technologies are unable to produce parts reliably and with consistent structural material properties and required dimensional accuracy. This is due to the complexity of the process and the lack of process control strategies. This article makes a brief review on monitoring methods that have been used in WAAM or similar processes. The authors then identify the requirements for a WAAM monitoring system based on the common attributes of the process. Finally, a novel multi-sensor framework is realised which monitors the system voltage/current, part profile and environmental oxygen level. The authors provide a new signal process technique to acquire accurate voltage and current signal without random noises thereby significantly improving the quality of WAAM manufacturing.

In the intelligent buildings more and more features are dependent on the proper operation of equipment powered by electricity. Possible damage to these devices is very detrimental to the functioning of the building and must be repaired or replaced immediately. In many cases a failure prevents the building from being used. Possible equipment failures, however, can be predicted from the analysis of how they operate. monitoring and analysis of power parameters of individual electrical devices allow to distinguish characteristic parameters of each electrical receiver. Any departure from stable working conditions may be recorded by a neuronal monitoring and evaluation system. The mechanism for such an analysis is the implementation of an adaptive prediction algorithm using artificial neural networks. This method allows adaptation of the decision mechanism to the current working conditions of controlled devices. The measured parameters are the measurements of physical quantities that illustrate the operation of the device. For example, for air handling and ventilation units, this is the electricity consumed. The advantage of power analysis is the identification of common faults and corresponding deformations of power supply parameters. Based on the previously prepared pattern, neural networks identify component damage or predict the predicted critical failure time of the component or control subsystem using MWF. Early forecasting of the failure situation contributes significantly to the comfort and security of intelligent building users.
