This paper presents a method of designing and developing a practical and convenient 3D visual simulation software for the multi-agent system in simulating the cooperative control algorithms, in order to realize the visual simulation of the cooperative control algorithms for multi-agent systems. The design of this simulation software is divided into three parts: design of human-computer interaction, design of algorithm program, and design of 3D visual presentation. The software system is developed on the Qt development platform for design of graphical user interface and implementation of algorithm program, using OSG graphics library as the 3D rendering tool. Multiple examples of different cooperative control algorithms of typical multi-agent systems are executed on the software to verify feasibility and effectiveness, and some of the simulation results are presented in the paper. Practical application shows that the simulation software is helpful to the development of simulation research on the cooperative control algorithms for multi-agent systems.

The most efficient approach is to use the even geometric algebra in 3+1 spacetime dimensions, or equivalently complex quaternions, which are fast, compact, and robust, and straightforward to compose, interpolate, and spline. The worldwide demand for speed in applications challenges the deployment of compute-intensive algorithms at the power-constrained edge. Novel embedded devices such as the heterogeneous Vision Processing Units (VPUs) emerge as a promising solution for low-power embedded imaging/vision applications, as they accelerate computer vision algorithms and convolutional neural networks with only 1-2W. In this brief, we propose a development methodology for exploiting the full potential of the VPU heterogeneity and providing sufficient acceleration within their restricted power envelope. Based on this methodology, we demonstrate the development paradigm on the Myriad VPUs and report experimental results from the implementation of demanding image processing kernels.

This paper presents a new technique for the virtual reality (VR) visualization of complex volume images obtained from computer tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI) by combining three-dimensional (3D) mesh processing and software coding within the gaming engine. The method operates on real representations of human organs avoiding any structural approximations of the real physiological shape. In order to obtain realistic representation of the mesh model, geometrical and topological corrections are performed on the mesh surface with preserving real shape and geometric structure. Using mathematical intervention on the 3D model and mesh triangulation the second part of our algorithm ensures an automatic construction of new two-dimensional (2D) shapes that represent vector slices along any user chosen direction. The final result of our algorithm is developed software application that allows to user complete visual experience and perceptual exploration of real human organs through spatial manipulation of their 3D models. Thus our proposed method achieves a threefold effect: i) high definition VR representation of real models of human organs, ii) the real time generated slices of such a model along any directions, and iii) almost unlimited amount of training data for machine learning that is very useful in process of diagnosis. In addition, our developed application also offers significant benefits to educational process by ensuring interactive features and quality perceptual user experience.
