Photo-Acoustic Microscopy (PAM) is an imaging technique that is used in medical imaging. It is centred on the effects in which the sound waves follow the light absorption in an object, referred to as the photo-Acoustic effect. In various other imaging modalities, image reconstruction is a strenuous task when compared with photo-Acoustic microscopy images. Image reconstruction is simple in the case of PAM images. For medical imaging, various artifacts and noise may arise. It is crucial to perform image reconstruction before retrieving the original images. The prime technical challenge associated with photo-acoustic microscopy images (PAM) is the imperative requital between spatial definition and visualization speed. In this paper, researcher suggest a novel implementation of deep learning concept to perform image enhancement in reconstructed PAM images. Aiming to perform the task, researcher choose the Fully Dense U-net (FD U-net) model, which gives the best result, and also used wave-let based image de-noising technique and median filtering, which is one of the most powerful tools for image enhancement. To perform so, we need certain under-sampled images, so to acquire the under-sampled images, researcher synthetically down-sampled the fully-sampled PAM images in order to perform image reconstruction. It supports us in performing both training and testing our model under various imaging constraints. It improves the quality of the images, so it can be used for medical diagnosis. Another important aspect of the wavelet-based denoising techniques is their lower computational complexity. Researcher proposed a novel statistic-based Blind/Reference-less Image Spatial Quality Evaluator (BRISQUE), which is an image quality assessment method. Thus, by using BRISQUE, the quality of the image can be determined. The overall results and analysis collectively show the sturdy performance of our proposed work to reconstruct PAM images. We present an automated and efficient approach for retrieving high-quality CAD models of objects and their poses in a scene captured by a moving RGB-D camera. We first investigate various objective functions to measure similarity between a candidate CAD object model and the available data, and the best objective function appears to be a ”render-and-compare” method comparing depth and mask rendering. We thus introduce a fast-search method that approximates an exhaustive search based on this objective function for simultaneously retrieving the object category, a CAD model, and the pose of an object given an approximate 3D bounding box. This method involves a search tree that organizes the CAD models and object properties including object category and pose for fast retrieval and an algorithm inspired by Monte Carlo Tree Search, that efficiently searches this tree. We show that this method retrieves CAD models that fit the real objects very well, with a speed-up factor of 10$\times$ to 120$\times$ compared to exhaustive search. We used our method to automatically retrieve CAD models for objects in the ScanNet dataset; our annotations are available at https://***/stefanainetter/SCANnotateDataset.

Web technology has gone through quite significant evolution since the past three decades-from relatively rudimentary static pages to rather sophisticated and framework-based web applications able to carry out computation and logical tasks, besides handling advanced graphics with ease. All this has been big enough for new directions computer devices take from simple, traditional desktops and laptops into smart mobile devices that are tablets and smartphones. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are the basic languages of the web, and over time, they have adapted to newer form factors by including media queries, allowing responsive web pages adaptive to different screen sizes. Then, with the appearance of React, web development was revolutionized in the sense that developers were able to create lightweight yet powerful application-based interfaces. However, with the dawn of AR and VR comes a new frontier in web designing and requires changed paradigms. Websites today not only need to be designed to work on classic desktops and handheld devices but are instead built considering experiences in AR/VR. In the field of augmented reality and virtual reality, virtual reality is taking a transforming role, and websites should be strategically designed to cope with this changing technological scenario. Our project is particularly aligned to deal with this aspect and integrate the perspectives of augmented reality and virtual reality in web design so that these immersive and interactive features are not lost in the experience of the user.

Dynamic NeRFs have recently been used for 3D talking portrait synthesis, but challenges remain in improving efficiency and effectiveness. We introduce R2-Talker, an efficient and effective framework for real-time talking head synthesis. Using multi-resolution hash grids, we losslessly encode facial landmarks as conditional features, aligning the structure with facial expression movement. We also propose progressive multilayer conditioning for effective conditional feature fusion. Compared to state-of-the-art works, our approach has superior visual quality and accuracy, and is computationally efficient.

To address the challenge of effectively evaluating ISAR image similarity under multi-precision fusion processing, this paper proposes a Fine-Grained Weighted Entropy (FGWE)-based image similarity evaluation method. This approach fully considers the subtle structural features in radar images by assigning different entropy weights to various regions, thereby emphasizing the differences of the important structural information and then reflecting accurately the similarity between images. Experimental results demonstrate that, compared with traditional methods, when FGWE was used to evaluate radar images, it showed a greater sensitivity to structural feature differences, and more accurately trapped the image information loss which derived from multi-precision processing. The mentioned FGWE reveals great potential in the field of radar image precision evaluation.

Acquiring and utilizing medical imaging data presents challenges such as difficulties in data collection and privacy protection. While generative models offer promising solutions for medical data synthesis, their effectiveness in clin-ical settings is often limited by potential generation bias. This necessitates a systematic analysis to ensure reliable applications across diverse clinical scenarios. To tackle this issue, we employ a visual analysis method to convey generation bias in medical images through distribution comparison. We first employ an intuitive visualization to display bias in generative models during medical data synthesis. Then, we conduct a detailed analysis of the distributional difference between generated and original data to extract posterior knowledge of bias. Our experimental results on two medical datasets demonstrate that this analysis method facilitates bias pattern comparison across models and helps identify potential factors that impact the quality of generated data.

Recent advances in full-head reconstruction have been obtained by optimizing a neural field through differentiable surface or volume rendering to represent a single scene. While these techniques achieve an unprecedented accuracy, they take several minutes, or even hours, due to the expensive optimization process required. In this work, we introduce InstantAvatar, a method that recovers full-head avatars from few images (down to just one) in a few seconds on commodity hardware. In order to speed up the reconstruction process, we propose a system that combines, for the first time, a voxel-grid neural field representation with a surface renderer. Notably, a naive combination of these two techniques leads to unstable optimizations that do not converge to valid solutions. In order to overcome this limitation, we present a novel statistical model that learns a prior distribution over 3D head signed distance functions using a voxel-grid based architecture. The use of this prior model, in combination with other design choices, results into a system that achieves 3D head reconstructions with comparable accuracy as the state-of-the-art with a 100 $\times$ speed-up.

A treemap is a visualization that has been specifically designed to facilitate the exploration of tree-structured data and, more general, hierarchically structured data. The family of visualization techniques that use a visual metaphor for parent-child relationships based "on the property of containment" (Johnson, 1993) is commonly referred to as treemaps. However, as the number of variations of treemaps grows, it becomes increasingly important to distinguish clearly between techniques and their specific characteristics. This paper proposes to discern between Space-filling Treemap T-S, Containment Treemap T-C, Implicit Edge Representation Tree T-IE, and Mapped Tree T-MT for classification of hierarchy visualization techniques and highlights their respective properties. This taxonomy is created as a hyponymy, i.e., its classes have an is-a relationship to one another: T-S subset of T-C subset of T-IE subset of T-MT. With this proposal, we intend to stimulate a discussion on a more unambiguous classification of treemaps and, furthermore, broaden what is understood by the concept of treemap itself.

We present a method that simultaneously addresses the tasks of dynamic scene novel-view synthesis and six degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) tracking of all dense scene elements. We follow an analysis-by-synthesis framework, inspired by recent work that models scenes as a collection of 3D Gaussians which are optimized to reconstruct input images via differentiable rendering. To model dynamic scenes, we allow Gaussians to move and rotate over time while enforcing that they have persistent color, opacity, and size. By regularizing Gaussians’ motion and rotation with local-rigidity constraints, we show that our Dynamic 3D Gaussians correctly model the same area of physical space over time, including the rotation of that space. Dense 6-DOF tracking and dynamic reconstruction emerges naturally from persistent dynamic view synthesis, without requiring any correspondence or flow as input. We demonstrate a large number of downstream applications enabled by our representation, including first-person view synthesis, dynamic compositional scene synthesis, and 4D video editing. 1 1 1. Thermography is an innovative technique that creates a heatmap of different portions of the human body by using infrared (IR) radiation where color scales vary for various temperature regions. This work's scope aims to extend thermal imaging applications with machine learning algorithms in conjunction with Azure API services to analyze thermal images and return a preliminary diagnosis. The project consists of generating heatmaps for better visualization results, analyzing them through image processing techniques, and feeding the information to Azure’s Custom Vision API to detect anomalies and classify health conditions and finally producing a proper report. This research allows individuals and healthcare professionals to have a quick, non-invasive diagnostic tool that empowers health monitoring and preventive care. It combines the capabilities of contemporary technologies with uses directed toward health practice, leading to inimical patient outcomes and true practices.
