An energy-efficient and multi-bit (4b) current-based analog compute in-memory (CIM) architecture is proposed in this paper. In current-based analog CIM schemes, multiplication and-accumulate (MAC) operation is performed on bitline, and resultant output is equivalent to bitline voltage drop $(\Delta \mathbf{V}_{\text{RBL}})$ . However, dependence of $\Delta \mathbf{V}_{\text{RBL}}$ on process, voltage and temperature (PVT) variations and analog non-idealities (ANIs), reduces the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of MAC and degrade the computation accuracy of MAC in analog CIM architecture. An analytical model of $\Delta \mathbf{V}_{\text{RBL}}$ to predict the computation accuracy of MAC in current-based analog CIM architecture through a single SPICE simulation is presented in this paper. The proposed model determines the dynamic range of analog input voltage $(\boldsymbol{V}_{a})$ on the bitline for linear MAC operation for a given technology node. This model also provides a design methodology to predict computation accuracy of MAC and optimize design parameters for current-based analog CIM architecture with the modelling error of 1.1% in SPICE simulations. The implementation of the proposed CIM architecture and model validation are done using a standard 65nm CMOS technology. The proposed architecture achieves $13\times$ energy-efficiency and $2.5\times$ reduction in latency for 4-b multiplication and accumulation (MAC) operation than state-of-the-art. The proposed CIM architecture achieves $13\times$ improvement in Figure of Merit (FoM).

In the research of bullet engraving comparison method at home and abroad, the traditional method is through visual observation by microscope, comparing line-Type engraving of two bullets to distinct whether the line match, which is inefficient and having big error. In this paper we proposed method based on moment invariant to identify the bullet engraving, which eliminate the actual measurement error (translation error and rotation error). Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) suffers from different malware attacks. Several traditional approaches are proposed for detecting fault nodes in WSN. It is necessary to redistribute the nodes and detect the fault nodes while modifying the WSN parameters. Faults can occur in the nodes interrupting the continuous communication process of the nodes in the WSN. The main reason for a fault is also the induction of the energy drain in a node to the maximum possible level, failure of links in communicating nodes due to bandwidth constraints, and attacks induced by the malicious nodes. To solve this problems, Extended Finite State Machine based Fault Tolerance (EFSM_FT) in the WSN is used to detect the fault sensor nodes in the WSN. In this approach, called the finite state machine (FSM), state prompted is modified while a set of situations are true. Every node can be absolutely to be faulty or not establishing on the sensor node states. Using sensor energy, drop rate, forward sensor rate, sensor obtained rate, bandwidth, and transmission delay, this method finds the node with the fault. As a result, this approach accurately detects the faulty nodes in the WSN. The simulation outcomes illustrate the proposed method has a better fault detection ratio and minimizes the false negative ratio in the WSN.

The traditional industrial production line uses vibration plate to solve the loading and sorting work of randomly stacked workpiece. However, for soft magnetic, ceramic sheet, and other materials with weak impact toughness, the use of vibration plate feeding will lead to the workpiece broken, crack, and other consequences. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency and reduce the damage rate, a structured optical camera is used to collect the 3D data of the scattered stacked workpiece and obtain the 3D point cloud data of the workpiece. Then, the collected 3D point cloud data is segmented to obtain the point cloud data of a single workpiece. Finally, the pre-established workpiece template is matched with the segmented point cloud data to obtain the 3D pose of the scattered stacked workpiece, which is convenient for the manipulator to grasp the workpiece with different postures. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Soft continuum robots offer unique properties that cannot be achieved using rigid linkage-based robotic bodies. Their dexterity and intrinsic compliance deliver the ability to navigate constrained environments and operate in unprecedented ways. Although the Jacobian velocity matrix based method is a widely used approach to solve inverse kinematics (IK) problems for traditional rigid robots, its draw-backs emerge while solving IK problems of continuum robots, such as high computational cost with no solution guarantees. Attempts to provide alternative solutions must overcome the computational complexity and vast functional workspace of continuum manipulator postures. Here, we propose a heuristic approach, the State Lattice based Inverse Kinematics Solver (SLInKi), which uses concepts originally developed for solving path-finding problems to solve the IK problem of a soft continuum robot. This algorithm is intuitive, runs in real time, and combines the strengths of two algorithms in a unique package that surpasses existing methods in adjustability and efficiency. Several simulation case studies and real robot experiments demonstrate that the proposed approach is flexible, computationally efficient, and highly accurate compared to the state of the art.

Hybrid systems are dynamical systems of both continuous and discrete nature and constitute an important field of control systems theory and engineering. On the other hand, intelligent data processing has become one of the most critical devices of modern computer based systems as these systems operate in environments featuring increasing uncertainty and unpredictability. While these two approaches set completely different objectives, modern cyber-physical systems, taken as variants of hybrid systems, seem to constitute a field of increasing interest for applying intelligent techniques. Moreover, the examples of, not so recent, intelligent control systems are suggestive for considering a study on getting intelligent techniques close to hybrid systems. In this paper we present the experimental investigation we undertook in this direction. More specifically, we present and discuss the experiments carried out using Acumen a hybrid systems modeling and simulation environment. Without urging towards setting and solving questions of conceptual order we tried to figure out whether it is possible to represent intelligent behavior using a tool for modeling dynamical systems focusing on the study of its ability to permit the representation of both continuous and discrete intelligent techniques, namely, Reinforcement Learning and Hopfield neural networks. The results obtained are indicative of the problems related to the specific computational context and are useful in deriving conclusions concerning the functionality that needs to be provided by such modeling and simulation environments, in order to allow for the coexistence of hybrid systems and intelligent techniques.

Cube Satellites (CubeSats) are nanosatellites that are used for knowledge and educational purposes. One of the most important subsystems in CubeSat is the Electrical Power System (EPS), whereas the electrical power is necessary for a CubeSat to operated and functioned properly. The EPS consists of solar cells, voltage converters, batteries, sensors monitoring, and protection circuits. It is responsible for providing a stable power to the other CubeSat subsystems, such as the ADCS, OBC and payload subsystems. This paper describes the design and implementation of the EPS of ISRASAT1 cube satellite, using Matlab and Simulink. The design has provided a secure power source, taking into account the requirements needed for charging the batteries of satellite with power received from the solar cells. EPS regulates the battery voltage to the required bus voltage, and protects CubeSat subsystems from over-currents that may lead to device *** result we obtained the request voltage and current from (EPS) © 2021 IEEE.

The rapid expansion of loT-based sensor networks has necessitated the development of efficient edge analytics frameworks to process vast amounts of data in real time while minimizing computational overhead. Deep learning-powered edge computing has emerged as a transformative approach, enhancing data processing capabilities at the network edge while addressing constraints related to latency, bandwidth, and energy consumption. This study introduces a novel algorithm, Lightweight AI Model Compression for Energy-Efficient IoT Edge Devices (LiteEdgeAI), designed to optimize deep learning models for resource-constrained edge environments. The proposed method employs quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation techniques to achieve significant reductions in model size and computational complexity while maintaining high inference accuracy. To validate the efficiency of LiteEdgeAI, a comparative simulation analysis was conducted against existing state-of-the-art algorithms using key performance metrics such prediction accuracy, energy efficiency and computational complexity. Experimental results demonstrated that LiteEdgeAI outperformed baseline models. The findings highlight the potential of LiteEdgeAI in enabling scalable, low-power, and real-time edge intelligence for IoT-based sensor networks.

With the growing adoption of blockchain technology, security concerns have come to the forefront. Distributed denialof-service (DDoS) attacks targeting blockchain mining pools have become particularly prominent. Such attacks could threaten the stability of blockchain systems and have a significant impact on mining pool revenues. The existing research primarily focuses on preventing DDoS attacks by utilizing machine learning for detection. However, the detection methods do not allow the mining pool to adjust its strategy to maximize the mining benefits. To solve these issues, this paper proposes a dynamic game modeling strategy. We consider the impact of factors such as attack and defense costs on the rewards of the game. Specifically, we construct an evolutionary game model to describe the interactions between the attacking and defending pools. The MATLAB simulation experiment results indicate that under the given parameter conditions, attacking mining pool choose not to attack when network conditions are poor. And attacking mining pool choose to attack when network conditions are favorable. Under better network conditions, when the cost of defense is lower, the attacking mining pool and defending mining pool engage in a cyclical game around a certain point.

Cyber Physical Systems is a generic concept of a new technological phase based on Intelligent Manufacturing Systems and evolved within Industry 4.0. Using information technologies they form the new ways of modern economic activities. An important direction in the creation and enlargement of Cyber Physical Systems is the development of methods and technologies for its modeling and simulation. The article describes as CybPhys project that was started under Erasmus+ program solves this problem by establishing an education of specialists in complience with labor market needs and cooperation with the professional associations, High-Tech companies and research institutions of Europe, Belarus and Ukraine.
