An end-to-end fiber-based network has the potential to offer multi-gigabit fixed access to end users. However, a fiber network’s biggest hurdle is delivering that fiber access to the end user. Especially in places where fiber is non-existent, it can be time-consuming and costly to deploy, resulting in Operators experiencing a long delay in realizing a return on their *** work investigates transmission data from fixed broadband wireless access in the mmWave band in 5G. With the increasing interest in this domain, it is worth investigating the transmission characteristic of the data and utilizing the same to build more sophisticated capabilities. Existing datasets for the mmWave band are detailed but generated from simulated environments. In this work, we introduce a dataset built from the collection of real-world transmission data from fixed broadband wireless access in mmWave band device(RWM6050). The goal of this data is to enable self-configuration capability based on transmission characteristics. Towards this goal, we present an online machine learning-based approach that can classify transmission characteristics with real-time training. We also present two more advanced temporal models for more accurate classifications. We demonstrate that it is possible to detect the transmission angle and distance directly from the analysis of transmission data with very high accuracy. We achieved up to 99% accuracy on the combined classification task. Finally, we outline some interesting future research scopes based on the collected data.

The significance of digital twins in mechanical and plant engineering companies is becoming increasingly important in the course of Industry 4.0 as a cyber-physical system. Digital twins represent a real object in virtual space. The properties of the real object are simulated using structural and behavior models, so that the digital twin represents a spitting image of the real object in virtual space. The structural models and behavioral models are created by modeling the digital twin in different modeling and simulation domains. A common form of the digital twin in mechanical and plant engineering is a digital twin, which is based on a kinematic multibody simulation. The kinematic digital twin can be coupled with industrial controllers and is often used for the virtual commissioning of plants/machines. These digital twins usually represent the kinematic behavior of the plan/machine in an idealized way and neglect the physically determined system dynamics. By extending the digital twin by the generation of state variables of a multiphysical dynamic simulation and the use of these state variables by industrial programmable logic controller (PLCs), advantages arise in the use of the digital twin with respect to virtual commissioning, fault analysis, condition monitoring and simulative optimization of machines and plants. Thus, it is necessary to complement the kinematic digital twin by a multiphysical dynamic simulation and to connect this extended model of the digital twin to PLCs.

The complex structure of interplanetary magnetic fields and their variability, due to solar activity, make it necessary to compute the Cosmic Ray (CR) modulation with numerical simulations. COde for a Speedy Monte Carlo (MC) Involving Cuda Architecture (COSMICA) is a MC code, solving backward-in-time the system of Stochastic Differential Equations (SDE) equivalent to the Parker Transport Equation (PTE). The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) parallelization of COSMICA code is a game changer in this field because it reduces the computational time of a standard simulation from the order of hundred of minutes to few of them. Furthermore, the code is capable of distributing the computations on clusters of machines with multiple GPUs, opening the way for scaling. In COSMICA we implemented the synchronous broadcasting of memory access for evolving variable samples, the rounding of virtual particle set numbers, to fulfil the GPU blocks, and the exploitation of shared memory to free registers. Furthermore, we compactify the mathematical computations and pass to the lighter momentum formulation of SDE. The first porting of the code on GPU architecture brings it to a speed-up of 40 X. The successful optimizations bring 1.5X speed-up.

Intelligent driving systems can be used to mitigate congestion through simple actions, thus improving many socioeconomic factors such as commute time and gas costs. However, these systems assume precise control over autonomous vehicle fleets, and are hence limited in practice as they fail to account for uncertainty in human behavior. Piecewise Constant (PC) Policies address these issues by structurally modeling the likeness of human driving to reduce traffic congestion in dense scenarios to provide action advice to be followed by human drivers. However, PC policies assume that all drivers behave similarly. To this end, we develop a co-operative advisory system based on PC policies with a novel driver trait conditioned Personalized Residual Policy, PeRP. PeRP advises drivers to behave in ways that mitigate traffic congestion. We first infer the driver's intrinsic traits on how they follow instructions in an unsupervised manner with a variational autoencoder. Then, a policy conditioned on the inferred trait adapts the action of the PC policy to provide the driver with a personalized recommendation. Our system is trained in simulation with novel driver modeling of instruction adherence. We show that our approach successfully mitigates congestion while adapting to different driver behaviors, with 4 to 22% improvement in average speed over baselines. 1

Sports can enhance our physical functions. In order to standardize sports actions and improve people’s sports level, this article makes a quantitative research on the characteristics of sports training actions by using computer technology. In this article, based on IEC algorithm, a sports training action recognition model is constructed. This model is used to obtain the outline of sports action and realize the segmentation of sports action. Then, the characteristics of athletes’ movements are extracted and analyzed, and the wrong movements are identified, so as to optimize the sports training movements. The experimental results show that the error of this model on the test set is low; At the same time, the classification accuracy of the model on the data set can reach 94.88%. Compared with the comparison model, the error and classification accuracy of this model are improved, and this result also verifies the reliability and superiority of this model. It is feasible to apply this model to sports training action recognition, and it can provide some technical support for sports training action recognition. Improve the effect and safety of physical training; It provides scientific basis and action examples for physical education teaching and scientific training.

The article describes the features of modeling dynamic systems adapted to real production processes. An approach to solving problems using the numerical and analytical method of modeling rigid dynamic systems is described. The algorithm of this approach is based on the following procedures: recording the original system of differential equations in the form of state variables, determining the characteristic polynomial of the system, finding its roots, and determining the solution of the original system of differential equations in the analytical form under typical input effects. The analytical view of the solution allows you: to keep track of all components (both fast and slow), which is especially important when modeling hard systems;the ability to obtain a solution with the accuracy of a computer bit grid for any time, as well as complete algorithmic independence from the solution at the previous point;the lack of iteration, the ability to pre-evaluate the nature of the transition process by the type of roots. The solutions for all possible types of roots are considered (Simple roots, Multiple roots, Complex-conjugate roots). For typical input effects, analytical expressions are given and the areas of application of the proposed approach in modeling complex technical systems in specific engineering tasks are considered. The method is implemented as a software package written in the Pascal algorithmic language for a personal computer of the IBM PC type. Acoustic monitoring of rare and elusive bird species presents significant challenges due to the complexity of environmental noise and the variability in bird vocalizations. This study proposes a novel deep learning framework, BioAudio VisionNet (BAVNet), specifically designed for the acoustic identification and monitoring of the Himalayan Monal and other rare bird species. The performance of the proposed algorithm was evaluated against three established algorithms: Support Vector Machines with Acoustic Features (SVM-AF), Audio Spectrogram Transformer (ASF), and Deep Belief Networks (DBN). simulation experiments were conducted using metrics such as accuracy versus the number of epochs, processing time versus accuracy, and spectrogram classification accuracy versus spectrogram resolution. The results demonstrated that BAVNet achieved a notable improvement in classification accuracy, computational efficiency, and adaptability to varying spectrogram resolutions when compared to existing methods. These findings highlight the potential of BAVNet for real-time biodiversity monitoring in challenging environments. Future work can explore the integration of additional contextual data, such as environmental factors, to further enhance system performance.
