In this study, we investigate the mechanical properties of gold (Au) materials using molecular dynamics simulations. In this simulation, the nanoindentation process was performed to analyze the deformation defects and hardness properties of Au under different indentation velocities. The results suggest that the deformation behavior of the Au specimen was affected by different indentation velocities. These findings were confirmed by examining the load-displacement curve, which indicated elastic deformation through the appearance of a linear load-displacement relationship at low indentation velocities. In contrast, plastic deformation was identified by the presence of intensified serrations in the load-displacement curve at higher indentation velocities. Under such conditions, the hardness exhibited minimal variation when the indenter velocity increased from 5 mls to 10 mls. However, a significant increase in hardness was noted when the indentation velocity was further raised to 15 mls.

The turbine governor is one of the most important devices for the automatic and intelligent control of hydropower stations. As a key part of the hydraulic turbine governor, the structure and control mode of the electro-hydraulic servo system is crucial, which has a direct impact on the quality of the AC power output and is also related to the operational safety of the power station equipment. In this paper, a hydraulic turbine electro-hydraulic governor based on PLC using PID control algorithm is developed. A hydraulic servo system is established with a high-speed switching valve as the core. The system consists of two small diameter high-speed ball valves and a large diameter electromagnetic reversing valve as the control circuit, and the two high-speed switching valves are controlled by PLC outputting two PWM pulse signals respectively. A mathematical model of the hydraulic turbine speed control system is established and simulated in the Matlab SIMULINK environment. The static characteristics test under no-load condition and the follow-on system disturbance test are carried out in the laboratory to verify the control performance of the system under this operating condition.

This model takes into account all possible places of lightning strokes origin with regard of probability of lightning appearance with different currents and potentials. Adequacy of the model has been checked by comparison with the normalized experimental data. The simulating of a servo drive with symmetrical pulse width controlling is implemented by the ISMA platform. This task is classified as an event-continuous or hybrid system. Since the dynamic processes can be event-driven, the finite-state machine notation by D. Harel (statechart as formalism) is applied to build a mathematical model for the problem. The statechart with three states complying the Cauchy problem is designed, predicates for directed transitions, as well as states equations are defined. The original LISMA language, combining both block and textual coding, which allows to form compact models that correspond bijectively to statechart formalism used for event-driven continuous systems, is applied. A fragment of the LISMA language grammar for determining the states and transitions of hybrid systems is presented. The designed ISMA software is resolved by original explicit and semi-explicit numerical methods with the asymptotic algorithm for event detection, included to the ISMA library. computer experiments demonstrate good results with sufficient accuracy.
