Students by offering an interactive, multi-sensory journey with virtual reality (VR). Such immersive experiences aim to engross students to the extent that they feel an integral part of the educational narrative rather than mere spectators of facts. These settings frequently employ virtual reality technology to foster a vivid and engaging learning atmosphere. This paper delves into using these immersive spaces with VR for teaching science threshold concepts and their effectiveness in stimulating student engagement through emotional resonance. The emotional bond fostered by such environments may boost student involvement in studying threshold concepts. The research surveyed forty-seven students across two ninth-grade classes, gathering data through open and closed-ended survey questions. Feedback from the students suggests that immersive virtual learning spaces are an effective pedagogical tool, potentially deepening their emotional engagement and enhancing their educational experience.

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of optimizing the hierarchical structure of a multicommodity communication network with discrete flows when changing its important parameters, such as the capacity of network arcs in transport blocks and the size of the transport block for transportation of the discrete small-lot cargo or of the data transmission in a digital communication network. The network has three levels of hierarchy - a backbone, a zonal and an internal and four types of nodes - backbone nodes of the first, second and third types, forming the backbone and zonal levels of the network, and nodes of the fourth type, which subordinate to each backbone node and forming the internal levels of the network. Types of nodes differ from each other in terms of functionality. The main task of the study is to establish how the structure of the backbone network changes (the number and location of backbone nodes of the first, second, and third types), the flow processing and distribution scheme, and the technical and economic indicators of the network's functioning for different values of its parameters. The principles of organization of sorting and distribution of flows in a three-level network and its mathematical model are given. A mathematical model of the optimization problem of the backbone network structure and flow sorting and distribution scheme is formulated. computer modeling of the problem on a network containing 10 nodes at the specified change in the both parameters is carried out.

Concerns related to the veracity and originality of the content on social networks are at an ongoing rise. Considerable work has been done on information spreading, and tools have been built, while approaches with provenance-based analysis are rare. We are of the opinion that provenance-based analysis and visualization tools can make (mis-)information spreading analysis more efficient. Thus, we study provenance, and present a provenance pipeline for data analytics, where users are able to interact with multiple network analysis modules through a graphical user interface, and describe a proof-of-concept system. Although provenance visualization can suffice in capturing all the necessary metadata, integration with other network visualization modules suited to the same data enhanced our results analysis and conclusions. Having designed distinct provenance models, we captured and analysed lineage of information on community dynamics. We tested our proposed prototype with a real-world dataset comprising of more than 10 million filtered tweets, focused on COVID-19 vaccinations, and conducted an analysis on community dynamics with networkscience metrics and NLP.
