Artificial intelligence-based applications are integrated in the human resource management of firms for managing people within the region as well as international organisations. In the past years the growth of AI based applications proliferates the function of HR M that triggers to exciting new stream to study the effect of AI adoption on business level and individual outcomes. It evaluates the AI enabled HRM practises. The technology examines the firms with problem solving, decision making and utilisation of resources and opportunities for employees. The growing interest on AI based technologies for HRM for diffusion of innovation in large multinational enterprises. AI has the capability for reduction of administrative burden experienced by the HR Professional that allows them for precise decision making based on the data patterns. Adoption of artificial intelligence helps in effective employee management and decision making. So that employee of HR management can overcome the challenges. Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) has been acknowledged as a pivotal enabling technology for the sixth-generation (6G) wireless communication systems as it can manipulate wireless propagation environment via controllable signal reflection. Given the intricacy of the communication environment and the non-convex nature of hybrid beamforming sum rate maximization, there are challenges in the processing of traditional methods. By interacting with the environment, deep reinforcement learning (DRL) can effectively acquire the optimal beamforming strategy. Its end-to-end learning style, strong adaptability and real-time performance make it ideal for dealing with the complexity and real-time requirements of communication systems. Using deep reinforcement learning can improve system performance and enhance its adaptability. DRL merges the powerful representation learning capabilities of deep neural networks (DNN) with the decision optimization abilities of reinforcement learning (RL). This amalgamation empowers computer systems to acquire decision-making skills through interaction with the environment, with the aim of maximizing a certain reward signal. In this paper, by learning the knowledge of DRL, combining Long short-term memory (LSTM) and deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG) algorithm, the optimization problem jointly designed by transmit beamforming matrix at the base station(BS) and the phase shift matrix at the IRS is studied for multiple input single output (MISO) systems. The simulation outcomes underscore the robustness of the LSTM-DDPG algorithm in both maximizing the achievable sum rate and runtime efficiency. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Temporal knowledge graph (TKG) reasoning has become a hot topic due to its great value in many practical tasks. The key to TKG reasoning is modeling the structural information and evolutional patterns of the TKGs. While great efforts have been devoted to TKG reasoning, the structural and evolutional characteristics of real-world networks have not been considered. In the aspect of structure, real-world networks usually exhibit clear community structure and scale-free (long-tailed distribution) properties. In the aspect of evolution, the impact of an event decays with the time elapsing. In this paper, we propose a novel TKG reasoning model called Hawkes process-based Evolutional Representation Learning network (HERLN), which learns structural information and evolutional patterns of a TKG simultaneously, considering the characteristics of real-world networks: community structure, scale-free and temporal decaying. First, we find communities in the input TKG to make the encoding get more similar intra-community embeddings. Second, we design a Hawkes process-based relational graph convolutional network to cope with the event impact-decaying phenomenon. Third, we design a conditional decoding method to alleviate biases towards frequent entities caused by long-tailed distribution. Experimental results show that HERLN achieves significant improvements over the state-of-the-art models. © 2025 Association for Computational Linguistics.

Critical Infrastructure (CI) refers to the essential areas made up of public, private, and business sectors for the security of a country's development, such as electricity, water, health, education, etc. where information technologies (ITs) and operational technologies (OTs) enable automation services of CI. Currently, blockchain is being experimented in various CI sectors and any CI sector accumulates the data of millions of people in a country or nation from which big data is being generated. Big data connections are seen with large-scale blockchain networks because as the size of the blockchain network increases, so does the amount of connected data. Typically, the blockchain does not support asynchronous and simultaneous processes that indicate multiple block compilation does not allow at the same time for the blockchain systems. That is why high energy consumption, high bandwidth dependency, long-time computation, high mining process, and system slowness issues are seen on large-scale blockchain networks where big data is also connected. However, Hashgraph is an alternative distributed ledger technology (DLT) to blockchain and is also considered a consensus method that supports Asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance (ABFT) as well as simultaneous process. Moreover, Hashgraph does not need mining and network node verification processes which saves bandwidth. In this research, we proposed a Hashgraph-enabled blockchain model for reducing the above issues and illustrated the adoption of IT-enabled OT to support CI. Legal firms face mounting pressure to adapt to technology-induced transformations in the corporate landscape. To address this challenge, we propose a strategic approach centered on a customized Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud model tailored to the specific needs of small-scale legal enterprises. This approach offers compelling advantages, including scalability, modularity, cost-efficiency, enhanced availability, reduced hardware expenses, and strengthened security measures. Leveraging diverse cloud computing resources, the proposed solution facilitates real-time collaboration, communication, and data administration within legal organizations. It incorporates automated functionalities for generating, negotiating, and executing legal contracts, documents, and templates, along with streamlined mechanisms for storing and retrieving contract-related documents. To ensure data confidentiality and security, the system employs advanced tools such as the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm and Amazon Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB) to protect Personal Identifiable Information (PII). This project represents a convergence of visionary concepts and tangible execution, seamlessly integrating microservices, robust security features, and cloud-based deployment. By addressing the inherent requirements of legal technology in corporate entities, fostering user confidence, and embracing the benefits of cloud technology, this project holds significant long-term implications for the adoption of cloud-based management systems by legal firms. Empirical evidence supports the growing need for legal entities to collaborate with law firms that fully leverage technology. Text-based person retrieval primarily aims to retrieve the images of target persons represented by a given text query. In this task, how to effectively align images and text globally and locally is an important challenge. At the same time, since multiple modalities are involved, reducing the differences between different modalities is also an important challenge. Existing work has focused more on reconstructing an image rather than the semantic consistency between the image and text modalities. Therefore, we introduce the Cross-Modal Mask and Detail Alignment (CMDA) framework to address these challenges. Under this framework, our proposed Cross-Modal Mask Alignment module (CMA) semantically aligns features generated by supplementing randomly masked image/text with another modality text/image. Additionally, to narrow the gap between the image and text modalities, we designed the Cross-Modal Detail Alignment module (CDA), which establishes connections between images and texts and facilitates interactions between these two different modalities. Experimental results show that our model exhibits outstanding performance across multiple public datasets, i.e., CUHK-PEDES, ICFG-PEDES, and RSTPReID. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Hyperspectral imagery is a faraway sensing fact that gives one-of-a-kind spectral reflectance measurements across the electromagnetic spectrum. This form of imagery has various uses for monitoring the environment and tracking flora, wooded area cowl, and urban increase. However, successful analysis of hyperspectral imagery requires correct item-orientated classification, which may be challenging and time-consuming to acquire with traditional methods. This paper affords a choice tree-based method to the object-oriented type of hyperspectral imagery. In recent years, prompt-based learning has achieved some success in various natural language tasks. In text classification tasks, the construction of prompt templates and label mapping have a significant impact on the results. Therefore, many methods for constructing label mappings have emerged, such as manual and automatic construction. However, manual label construction is time-consuming, expensive, and has low scalability, while automatic label construction requires a large number of samples and other limitations. Therefore, we have explored a automatic label mapping method that only requires one sample. On the basis of only requiring one sample, we achieved good experimental results. In this paper, we propose an effective one-shot method for automatically constructing label mapping, ALaM. Our method is based on statistical algorithms and label semantic information for one to many label mapping. Our experiments demonstrate that ALaM achieves competitive performance on the GLUE benchmark without human effort or external resources. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

The 15-minute city concept is a measure of the quality of urban life based on proximity, sustainability, and sociality. This study proposes a geospatial framework for calculating the 15-minute city index (FMCI) aimed to measure the accessibility of its residents to six social functions, which include living, working, supplying, caring, learning, and enjoying. Quezon City, Philippines, was chosen for its urban characteristics that aligned with this vision and served as the study area. To account for pedestrian needs, age-based weights were assigned to the social functions, and service areas were mapped using a uniform walking speed. FMCI values were calculated based on weighted social functions and barangay population distribution by age group. Results revealed that 39% of Quezon City’s barangays achieved a perfect FMCI score of one, indicating access to all six functions within a 15-minute walk. Positive spatial autocorrelation indicated the clustering of barangays with similar FMCI values, with hot spots in the southern and cold spots in the northern parts of the city. These findings offer insights for policymakers in improving urban life quality. The adaptable FMCI framework can be applied to other urban areas to assess service accessibility, considering residents' needs. © 2025 by SCITEPRESS - science and technology Publications, Lda.
