Firstly, this paper briefly introduces UHF RFID technology, and then analyzes the domestic and foreign background of UHF RFID technology, the research progress, the existing problems and the development trend. Secondly, aiming at practical application, we design a set of small and low power consumption UHF RFID portable reader system. Hardware design is the design of the lower computer, including STM32F103ZET6, the RFID module of AS3992, the power supply, the display of 1L13941, the wireless module of ESP8266, the memory card and the key module. The software design includes the server system program design, the mobile application (APP) system program design, the lower computer system program design and the improvement of collision prevention algorithm. Finally, the test and analysis are carried out.

DARPA Robotics Challenge left not only technologydevelopment in the humanoid field but also increase of the attention on humanoids and the motivation to become a humanoid developer to people. However, the reality is not so simple. To develop a humanoid which has enough DOF and performance, it costs too much and most people in the world cannot own one. In this research, we propose the LoE (League of Everybody) to improve this situation. The LoE is an internet based open software development architecture especially for humanoid. It provides people with a real humanoid and people are able to treat the robot as if they are actually owning it. A humanoid provided by the LoE is time-shared by people through the LoE and people develop software for the robot to challenge the given target task from the LoE. This scheme is able to satisfy both the people who are interested in humanoids and the humanoid technology field. In this paper, the early results of the LoE and current improvements to overcome the problems found from the beta tests are shown and described.

In this paper we describe the design and evaluation of a passive lower limb assistive exoskeleton based on omnidirectional rehabilitation vehicle. According to the leg dynamics during assisted walking, we optimize the design parameters to make the lower limb obtain the most positive energy. We employ MACCEPA (mechanically adjustable compliance and controllable equilibrium position actuator) in design which generates the constant torque in knee joint. Experiments were performed on injured people and their results verify the system effect in reducing physical power.

Next generation educational services must identify and support dynamic semantic mappings to support semantic interoperability, This study introduces a distributed e-education services system based on the service oriented architecture. The Service Oriented Architecture facilitates the development of such systems by supporting modular design, application integration and interoperation, and software reuse. With open standards, such as XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI, the Service Oriented Architecture supports interoperability between services operating on different platforms and between applications implemented in different programming languages. In this paper we describe a distributed e-education services system that uses the Service Oriented Architecture as a basis for designing, implementing, deploying, invoking and managing educational services.
