The paper presents an algorithm for designing liquid small thrust rocket engine, the process of which consists of five aggregated stages with feedback. Three stages of the algorithm provide engineering support for design, and two stages - the actual engine design. A distinctive feature of the proposed approach is a deep study of the main technical solutions at the stage of engineering analysis and interaction with the created knowledge (data) base, which accelerates the process and provides enhanced design quality. The using multifunctional graphic package Siemens NX allows to obtain the final product -rocket engine and a set of design documentation in a fairly short time;the engine design does not require a long experimental development.

3D model checking is a critical issue for nuclear power plants design. This paper introduces the development of The Intelligent Checking System for Nuclear Power Plant 3D Model. Modern computertechnology is applied to the system to update the traditional manual 3D model checking process. The system is driven by the checking rules repository and contains two running modes: the intelligent mode can be used by designer to check 3D model in real-time, and the normal mode can be used by checker to check 3D model in the checking process. The software codes were written by AVEVA Programmable Macro Language (PML) and Microsoft. Net framework C#. This work not only makes checking process become standardized and automated but also makes the checking result become more reliable.

The article deals with the image crack analysis issues in pavement management systems based on the computer vision technology. The development of pavement management systems is necessary to predict the long-term performance of roads and prioritize maintenance policies. An algorithm for detecting cracks in pavement images is proposed. The algorithm includes the following steps: enhancing the image contrast;the operation of the morphological opening;image conversion to halftone;Bottom-hat transform;threshold conversion;image cleaning from noise by opening operation;the operation of connecting potentially fractured cracks;search for the edges of cracks;crack edges classification;visualization of the found cracks edges. The article also describes the implementation of the proposed algorithm in the form of experimental automated system software. This software is developed in the C ++ using the computer vision library OpenCV and operates on the Jetson TX2 modular supercomputers hardware platform. The results of studies of the proposed approach are given.
