The in-vehicle emergency call system has the ability to decrease the waiting time for assistance following a car crash, resulting in a decreased fatality rate for road accidents. According to domestic and international regulations, it is necessary for the system to undergo comprehensive testing to ensure its reliability prior to being utilized in vehicles. The whole vehicle triggering characteristics serve as the final evaluation in the certification process, requiring strict testing and verification to guarantee the technology's maturity and dependability. This paper presents a vehicle-level test system designed to meet vehicle-level test requirements. The system was tested from four perspectives, including in-vehicle system (IVS) triggering characteristics, minimum set of data (MSD) correctness, positioning accuracy, and voice call quality. The experimental results indicate that the testing system effectively tests the whole vehicle triggering characteristics of the in-vehicle emergency call system, thereby confirming its efficacy. The testing system can offer a budget-friendly and productive emergency call (eCall) certification testing solution to automobile companies. Additionally, it can provide substantial technical and data support for the creation of mandatory standards in China. Consequently, it promotes the expansion of related domains in China. © 2023 IEEE.

The Hydro-Environmental Autonomous Cleaning System (HEACS) addresses the critical issue of water pollution by autonomously collecting waste from water bodies and monitoring water quality. This system integrates a conveyor belt mechanism powered by DC motors for efficient waste collection, including oil spills. Water quality is maintained using Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensors, which trigger the injection of purifying chemicals like 777 Bioconcentrate, chlorine dioxide, Copper Sulphate, or Aluminium Sulphate when necessary. Collected garbage weight is measured using load sensors, with real-time data displayed on an LCD connected to an Arduino Uno. Autonomous navigation and operation are managed via Rx/Tx modules, ensuring effective performance in various environmental conditions. HEACS offers a comprehensive solution for water pollution control, combining automation, effective waste management, and environmental monitoring to protect aquatic ecosystems. © 2025 IEEE.

We propose and implement a task planning system that integrates a series of validated robotic instructions, deep learning models, and demonstration cases, into a larger structure using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) which is commonly used in engineering project management. By organizing these small-scale solutions in a sequence based on temporal and resource dependencies, we use simulations and evaluation functions to select the optimal structure as the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). These SOPs are then used to train a generative AI, enabling it to mimic human experts in generating high-level structures according to real-world needs and perform minor parameter generalizations to address issues involving temporal dependencies, spatial relationships, and resource allocation. The generated high-level structures are gradually transformed into low-level operations to execute actual tasks. The system records the execution results for automatic or manual analysis, and the feedback is used to continuously improve the generative AI's output. Our work lays the foundation for further research on the innovative application of combining generative AI with WBS data in robotic task planning. https://***/NOMIzy/LLM-Project. © 2024 IEEE.

In navigating robots through intricate three- dimensional (3D) unknown terrains, traditional methods often require complex control and sensing systems to perceive and counteract the environment, treating them largely as 'obstacles'. Contrasting these conventional approaches, our study posits a novel perspective, viewing the environment as an 'assistant'. Building on this notion, we introduce a centipede-inspired robot with implicit control. Crucially, this robot dynamically adjusts its body stiffness, maximizing the beneficial influences of the environment for navigation. Using this distinctive strategy as our foundation, we carried out simulation experiments in the CoppeliaSim environment. Preliminary findings underscore that, by leveraging the stiffness adjustments, the proposed method achieves efficient navigation with simple controls, eliminating the need for intricate obstacle detection or path planning. © 2023 IEEE.

Products are typically mass produced in industries. Anytime mass production is involved, it presents a number of difficulties, including problems with efficiency, costs, and time consumption. automation has been used by numerous industries as a solution to these issues. A system that checks the finished goods for flaws at the end of the production line is necessary to preserve the quality of the items. To deal with the aforementioned issues, the majority sectors of industries have started using automated systems employing image-based processing technique. An image-based processing system is one of the major components in industrial automation production operations which has high rate of effectiveness due to the availability of modernized digital cameras and various communication interfaces. Manufacturers place the highest attention on ensuring quality. Component identification during manufacturing flow must be possible with machines that can use computer vision effectively. The design of home automation systems is getting more challenging as more and more people adopt new technologies. There is still a significant amount of work to be done before end users will have full control over the monitoring and programming capabilities of their own houses. There may be a need for a self-sufficient and scalable household system that is able to support a diverse collection of appliances, tools, and pieces of technology. This article demonstrates how apps for the Android operating system may be used to control and monitor home appliances from a distant location. Those who are unable to move without the use of a wheelchair would benefit tremendously from this. The practical goal of this research is to build an android home automation system that is capable of existing in both virtual and real environments. Orders are sent from an Android phone to a nodeMCU for all of the home appliances to function properly. The key purposes of this system are the control of the lighting and fans, as well as the detection of smoke in the case that there is a fire. We also compare the proposed design with the existing models and fund that this is much cheaper with no compromise in the features of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology towards information and intelligence, unmanned war mode is gradually becoming the new trend of future war development. In the unmanned system architecture, USV is an important cross domain node of air, ground, sea and submarine stereoscopic unmanned combat system, and has become the focus of research in various countries in recent years. Firstly, this paper introduces the domestic and foreign research status of USV system;Then, the composition and logic architecture of a multi-mission payload USV system proposed in this paper are introduced in detail;Finally, the sea experiment is conducted for the satellite navigation failure environment and sonar underwater target detection. The experimental results show that the positioning error can be kept below 0.138% for the satellite navigation failure environment(Using GPS positioning data on the evaluation system as the true value), and the false alarm rate can be reduced by 9.3% in the joint detection of underwater targets with forward looking and side scanning sonar. © 2023 IEEE.

With the development of deep learning and image recognition technologies, these methods have found widespread applications across various fields. However, the annotation of industrial application-specific data, such as steel scrap images, remains challenging due to the unordered nature of the images, which often requires domain experts to perform the annotation. To address this, we propose a feature learning method for unordered images based on hybrid convolutional networks. Utilizing a preprocessed steel scrap dataset, we employ a cascaded convolutional network to capture deep correlation features within such unordered images while enhancing their fine-grained structures. A self-supervised approach is used to train the encoder, which is subsequently fine-tuned using a minimal set of labeled samples to complete the classification and annotation of steel scrap. Experimental results on four different categories of steel scrap annotation demonstrate that the proposed method achieves accuracies of 60.47%, 61.24%, 23.45%, 62.46%, respectively, verifying the effectiveness of the method. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Python offers a lot of potential as an automation tool for the Architecture, engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with opportunities to enhance decision-making, accelerate innovation, and simplify operations. The AEC industry challenges issues with efficiency, innovation, and sustainable development in the current data-driven world. automation has proven a potent cure, revolutionizing many aspects of business. Python provides potential to enhance operational efficiency by minimizing AEC operations, enhancing decision-making, and exploiting its extensive libraries and flexibility. This research examines the adoption of automation technologies in the AEC industry, including computer-aided design (CAD), building information modelling (BIM), robotics, and machine learning, through a review of the literature, guidelines, and criteria that are assessed according to their effect. It exposes the deficiencies and problems, such as the lack of software system compatibility. Due to its versatility, considerable community support, and potential for connection with existing software systems, Python presents as a feasible automation solution. The findings reinforce the significance of continuing research and application in this sector by demonstrating the benefits of Python automation in encouraging collaboration, innovation, and a data-driven future for the AEC industry. © 2023 IEEE.

Counterfeit educational diplomas are a prevalent issue, stemming from the large number of graduates and a lack of efficient anti-forgery measures. Traditional document certification and verification processes are time-consuming. The proposed solution is a blockchain-based digital document system, which enhances security and transparency. This system converts paper documents into electronic files, calculates their hash values, and stores them in a blockchain, making forgery less likely. By identifying security themes and addressing gaps in the current blockchain verification, the system creates QR codes and inquiry codes for attaching to paper documents, enabling easy verification via mobile scanning or website inquiries. This addresses the pressing issue of counterfeit documents. This article describes a blockchain technology algorithm for validating digital certificates. As the number of university and higher education students and graduates continues to grow each year, there is a need to easily validate graduation certificates. In this paper, we intend two financial models in which the price of services is balanced between graduates and employers as the main actors of services. Students demand cheap and easily verifiable certificates, and employers demand fast and reliable proof of their degrees. The issue of fake credentials is a big one. Getting a fake education certificate in India is not that difficult. Companies that hire thousands of freshmen spend a lot of money verifying applicants' educational credentials and qualifications. © 2024 IEEE.
