Irreversible vision loss, generally insidious in start and lacking apparent symptoms, is usually attributed to glaucoma. Detecting glaucoma in its early stages is crucial since it may reduce disease progression. Conventional diagnostic approaches, depending on manual assessments, are notably prone to mistakes. Hence, automated glaucoma analysis acquires vital relevance for precise and prompt detection. Moreover, medical picture databases frequently display asymmetries, creating a problem. To solve these challenges, this paper presents a unique framework employing generative adversarial networks (GANs) to generate images, thus addressing dataset imbalances. Specifically., in the context of fundus images, standard approaches like image-to-image translation are applied to build synthetic fundus images and associated vascular networks, attempting to boost overall image quality and capture finer details. Gaussian filtering is originally done to pre-process the raw dataset, eliminating unwanted noise. Subsequently, GANs are applied for dataset balancing, providing synthetic images that boost classification accuracy. Optic cup segmentation is conducted using the Enhanced Level Set Algorithm. Finally, Pretrained MobileNetV2 permits accurate classification of glaucomatous images into normal and pathological categories. Experimental results illustrate the efficacy of our suggested framework, obtaining an accuracy of 98.9%, exceeding existing techniques. © 2024 IEEE.

In aerospace systems, B+ trees are typically used for data management and indexing. However, traditional B+ trees have issues with data reliability and slower indexing speeds when handling massive data volumes. To address these issues, an improved B+ tree structure is proposed. This improvement involves a custom memory pool to manage the creation and deletion of tree nodes and employs a dynamic optimization algorithm to reduce the height of the B+ tree. Additionally, an automatic snapshot and logging system is introduced to ensure the recoverability of the B+ tree in case of system failures, enhancing its performance and reliability in complex environments. Comparative experiments indicate that the improved B+ tree achieves a 14.02% increase in efficiency for node insertion operations, a 27.39% speed improvement in searching for specific keys, and reduced memory consumption due to the dynamic optimization algorithm, demonstrating significant advantages in memory-constrained aerospace systems. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This work, a new kernel affine projection algorithm called q-Rényi kernel-affine-projection-maximum correntropy-criterion (qKAPMCC) is proposed. The qKAPMCC algorithm is different from the traditional kernel affine projection algorithm: the cost-function for learning algorithm is derived by the correntropy-criterion, and the q-Rényi kernel function replaces the Gaussian kernel in RKHS. The qKAPCC have an outperformance in the NCE under the impulse-noise. Simulation in different non-Gaussian noise environments express high performance of the proposed qKAPMCC algorithm compared to other kernel adaptive filters. © 2023 IEEE.

As an essential part of the new power system, high-voltage DC transmission is the mainstay of China's future energy structure development. However, the operational control problems of the DC transmission system are one of the most important reasons for the current stability and reliability of the system. The coordination of the sending and the receiving ends and the DC system helps to improve the efficiency and operational flexibility of the operating system. Therefore, this paper proposes a method to simulate the transient analysis of the operation of an UHVDC transmission system. Firstly, the operating principle of UHVDC transmission is analyzed, and the harmonic current characteristics of the commutator valve, taking into account the effect of phase change, are discussed. The rectifier side is controlled by a constant current and constant minimum α angle, while the inverter side is controlled by a constant current and constant γ angle, and a trigger angle pulse control circuit is established. Finally, the simulation results show that the fluctuation of the trigger angle α within a certain range does not affect the DC output voltage characteristics;however, as the value of the pulse trigger current increases, the amplitude of the DC current has to increase, and when it increases to 1.5 times the standard value, it basically does not change. © 2023 IEEE.

The traction system plays an important role in high-speed trains. Once a fault occurs, it will endanger the safety of the entire high-speed train. To overcome the problems of the current data-driven fault diagnosis (FD) method, this paper proposes a traction system FD method based on an invertible neural network (INN). A data-based model of traction systems is obtained via multiple reversibly coupled blocks. The generalized kernel representation is acquired by INN, which improves the FD performance of systems. Finally, to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, four types of faults are considered on the experimental simulation platform. Delivering a good quality product is the prime requirement for software development process in which the quality aspects include consistency, reproducibility, environment dependency, etc. wherein execution time is a decisive factor for grading any software. automation plays a crucial role in reducing time, effort, cost and manual errors to ensure high quality results by surpassing human errors. Most of the software automation tools currently being used are based on virtual machines. One of such prominently used tools is Jenkins. However it suffers from configuration time, execution time, complex user interface, cronjob triggering and host environment dependency. A docker based automation system (Dockomation) has been proposed to address the outset issues. The proposed system has been implemented in python and tested in the real time environment. The comparative assessment with Jenkins in terms of configuration time, execution time, etc. shows that Dockomation outperforms Jenkins. © 2023 IEEE.

High-end equipment is manufactured using a "main manufacturer-supplier" mode. The supply-demand relationship of high-end equipment involves benefit conflicts among the customer, the main manufacturer, and multiple suppliers, so transaction decisions become very complicated. Traditional optimisation methods are inadequate at revealing the interactions among multiple stakeholders. In this study, based on the transaction process of high-end equipment manufacturing, two correlated Stackelberg game models, namely, "main manufacturer-customer" and "main manufacturer-supplier," are constructed and their Nash equilibria are solved to maximize the profit of each stakeholder. The effects of various parameters on the decision variables of each stakeholder are analyzed through numerical simulation.

The construction industry has been faced with the problems of low labor productivity, labor shortage and high worker safety risk for a long time. However, building automation and robot technology bring new opportunities to solve these problems. After more than 40 years of development, the field of building automation and robot has accumulated a lot of research results, but it has not been widely used in practical engineering. Among them, high-rise buildings are large in quantity, wide in scope, complex in function, higher in engineering efficiency, quality and safety requirements, is an important direction of building automation and robot development. This study describes the development status of highrise building automation and robot in a multi-directional way, which lays a theoretical foundation for the subsequent research. It clearly puts forward the priority development direction of high-rise building automation and robot, identifies the key factors of success, and provides important reference for relevant participants to grasp the key points and breakthrough the key, which is conducive to promoting the commercialization and practical application of the research results. Based on the research of robot prototype system, a more efficient and safe new method is provided for the safety inspection of glass curtain wall of high-rise buildings. This paper considers a coordinated global shipment matching problem in which a global operator receives shipment requests from shippers and three local operators provide local transport services in different geographical areas. While local operators make local matching decisions, the global operator combines the matched local services into itineraries to provide integrated transport for shipments. To handle the interconnecting constraints between different operators, a Lagrangian relaxation heuristic approach is developed. Under the proposed approach, the original problem is decomposed into local operator-related subproblems. These subproblems are optimized iteratively under local constraints as well as under the incentives imposed by the global operator to meet interconnecting constraints. The experiment results show that with the proposed approach, global transport planning that requires coordination among different operators to achieve a common goal can be realized.
