Precision Temperature Control of Hot Rolled Steel Strips through Laminar Cooling Process Using an Improved Black Widow Algorithm-Based Control Model relying solely on the output rollers of a steel plant to dissipate most of the heat in hot-rolled steel strips is fundamentally insufficient to meet the requirements of the output steel strips. Therefore, laminar cooling is necessary for precise temperature control of hot-rolled steel strips. In this paper, we propose a laminar cooling control model based on an improved Black Widow algorithm to address the complex industrial characteristics of the laminar cooling process and overcome limitations in establishing laminar cooling models. This model enables precise control of water spray quantities based on actual operating conditions. Experimental results demonstrate that the improved Black Widow algorithm exhibits higher stability and superior optimization capabilities, enhancing temperature control performance in practical laminar cooling processes. © 2023 IEEE.

This research has developed the theoretical framework that outlines the application of blockchain and smart contracts for enhancing supply chain transparency. The framework here builds in the concept of decentralization and immutability of the blockchain technology to improve accountability, auditability and responsiveness within supply chains. The framework helps to acquire real-time visibility over different processes, control fraud, increase the accuracy of the data, and optimize several procedures as much as possible by implementing the mentioned smart contacts. When the framework is adopted, the various advantages include the efficiency gain in the processing of different transactions and the increased accuracy in the data handling capacity as well as enhanced compliance to the set standard regulatory compliances. Despite this, questions like scalability of the concept, compatibility issues and synergism of the players in the value web remain problematic. In a broader perspective, this study adds to the current literature on the integration of blockchain technology in managing supply chain and offers all-important pointers to the practising managers. © 2024 IEEE.

The stirring with a rotary motion is a highly automatic process in the industrial automation, especially in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries. The intense friction and collision between the stirring blade and raw materials (solid granules or liquids) can produce an obviously electrostatic charging effect, especially in dry environment. The unexpected discharging can ignite dust clouds. In this paper, we presented the real-time monitor methods for both charging strength and discharging event. Experiment results showed that the maximum potential of 20.61 kV was obtained at 9 cm from the bottom wall by the designed potential transfer measurement. The discharge leakage current of microseconds was detected across the designed high-speed current circuit while it was connected to the grounded wall of stirring drum. Those proposed sensing methods is capable of early prevention of electrostatic hazards in the field of automatic stirring process. © 2024 IEEE.

The article describes a method to solving a practical engineering problem related to the process of reading of random structures using an integrator that can capture only a certain number of point objects. Methods to solving this problem are described, based on creating of efficient software tools that use branched analytical manipulations on a computer in their work. One of the ways to solve this problem is the creation and use of a specialized system that performs an analytical calculation of the volume of polyhedra in n-dimensional space. The second way is integration method using calculations with two free parameters. A number of exact analytical formulas have been found that can be directly used in various fields related to probability theory, mathematical statistics, queuing theory and others. The work demonstrates it is necessary to use a large set of software and mathematical tools in solving many engineering problems. © 2024 IEEE.

In densely populated areas like Mumbai, the challenge of efficiently managing blood donations is critical. The gap between available donors and the urgent need for various blood types, especially in emergencies and for chronic conditions, necessitates a robust solution. Online Blood Bank Management System innovatively addresses this need, revolutionizing the blood donation and distribution process. The system enhances accessibility with a locality search feature, allowing donors to easily find and participate in nearby blood drives. It simplifies donor registration and donation management and includes educational resources. Hospitals and blood banks benefit from a dashboard for organizing donation events, monitoring blood stock, and managing blood group requests. The key contribution of this research paper is the Emergency Blood Request Donor Notification system, which allows hospitals to quickly alert potential donors in urgent situations. Furthermore, the integration of the Donor Retention Model, a machine learning tool, predicts the likelihood of donors becoming long-term, dedicated contributors. This model has demonstrated an impressive 78.30 % accuracy in identifying potential dedicated donors, crucial for patients requiring consistent blood supplies. © 2024 IEEE.

In the contemporary healthcare landscape, various intelligent automated approaches are revolutionizing healthcare tasks. Learning concepts are pivotal for activities like comprehending acquired data and monitoring patient behavior. Amid patient-centric concerns, addressing data heterogeneity, extraction, and prediction challenges is crucial. To enhance patient monitoring using care indicators like cost and stay length, we propose an AI and IoT-integrated automated approach, while tackling heterogeneity. Employing certain rules for data extraction to form a distinct representation, our model integrates pre-treatment information and employs a modified Combined Random Forest, LSTM, and BiLSTM algorithm for predictive posttreatment monitoring. This framework, synergizing AI, IoT, and advanced neural networks, facilitates real-time health monitoring, especially focusing on breast cancer patients. Embracing pre-treatment, in-treatment, and post-treatment phases, our model aims for accurate diagnosis, improved cost-efficiency, and extended stays. The evaluation underscores scalability, reliability enhancement, and validates the framework's efficacy in transforming healthcare practices. © 2024 IEEE.

The Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is a structured process that guides the development of software projects, encompassing phases from planning to deployment. Traditionally, the SDLC has relied on manual input, making it prone to delays, errors, and inefficiencies. With the recent advancements in Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, it is now feasible to automate substantial portions of the SDLC. This paper presents a novel approach to automating the SDLC using LLMs and the Langchain framework, aiming to streamline the entire software development process. By au-tomating key phases, including project planning, requirements gathering, code generation, testing, and deployment, this research explores how AI can minimize human intervention and accelerate software development timelines. The paper also discusses the potential advantages of AI-driven SDLC automation, such as improved efficiency, consistency, and scalability, while addressing challenges related to its integration. The proposed approach offers a glimpse into the future of software engineering, where AI plays a central role in transforming how software is developed and delivered. © 2024 IEEE.

The influence of automation in the agriculture and construction industry plays a vital role in the development of the economic backbone of any country. The factors such as power, torque and speed are efficiently controlled by automation devices using Internet of things (IoT). The heavy vehicles are the multi-faced application carrier which is been used in construction, agriculture, mining and other heavy-duty fields. This research focuses on developing a IoT integrated sensor-based obstacle detection system for programmed autonomous heavy vehicles which will improve safety in both on-road and off-road construction. The automation process consists of two main categories: Observing the environment and recognizing the activities. The environment in our case is both highways and rural roads. An intelligent- camera is utilised to capture the activities from the captured video and process the data. A LiDAR sensor performs the obstacle detection process using laser reflection technology and an ultrasonic sensor is used to process the vibration and sound produced by the obstacle or upcoming vehicles. These three sensors are integrated with a controller-based device to be powered by the power distribution system in the programmed autonomous heavy vehicle. © 2023 IEEE.

The field of cryptography is experiencing a new growth as a result of various homomorphic encryption techniques. It allows the user to run calculations directly on the encrypted text. The evolution of the homomorphic encryption scheme has not happened in one night, it took years of hard work by researchers. The paper studies various classical homomorphic encryption algorithms that served as a milestone in the journey of achieving a fully homomorphic encryption cryptographic model. The chronological survey of classical homomorphic encryption model is presented. A comparative analysis is done to analyze the homomorphic properties and ciphertext expansion ratio. The study has been done to clearly explain many classical homomorphic encryptions and their algorithms, making it simple for new researchers to comprehend the development of homomorphic encryption from the very first encryption algorithm, the RSA algorithm. It may help the latest researchers in the field of cryptography, to understand homomorphic encryption in-depth and its evolution. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper first analyzes the current state and characteristics of green product RandD in manufacturing industry, then uses surveys, interviews and other methods to determine the preliminary important risk factors. After the Delphi method is used to determine the risk evaluation index, R-AHP method is used to construct the risk index system of green product RandD and calculate the weight. Finally, based on the findings, the risk response scheme and safeguard measures are proposed, which has certain reference value for green product RandD projects in the manufacturing industry. © 2023 IEEE.
