The paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the integration of Cloud AI in real-time fraud detection, highlighting significant advancements and practical applications. Collaborative Robots are one of the main drivers of Industry 4.0, which started as a vision focusing on industrial production. It addresses several challenges in the current manufacturing industry such as performing repetitive work and requiring highly skilled workers. The goal of the research is to be able to simulate a pick and place environment with electronic cards using a YuMi cobot and mobile platforms in Coppeliasim. The mobile robot is responsible for transporting the electronic cards to the target location through path planning implemented using the OMPL plug-in. After arriving at the target location, YuMi will then perform the pick and place task from vertically stacked cards through inverse kinematics. Use cases were considered on the chosen mobile platform and robotic arms to determine the capabilities and limitations of the hardware involved. In addition, the total power consumption was obtained for energy assessment when the setup is performed in a real-world setting. For this particular setup, the fourth joint starting from the base consumed the most power and is therefore the primary target for optimization. © 2024 IEEE.

This research article presents the architecture and implementation of an autonomous vehicle which is capable of following a particular lane and also avoiding obstacles. By incorporating different types of sensors, including infrared sensors for line detection and an ultrasonic sensor for distance measurement, the vehicle navigates its movement effectively. This mechanism consists of an Arduino based microcontroller which processes sensor inputs to execute movement commands, such as forward, turn left, and turn right. A servo motor is employed to periodically scan the surroundings for obstacles, allowing the vehicle to adapt its path in real-time. The system integrates motor drivers to control the vehicle's motion, ensuring precise maneuverability. Experimental results demonstrate the vehicle's ability to follow a designated path while efficiently avoiding obstacles, showcasing its potential applications in robotics and automation fields. This project emphasizes the importance of sensor integration and control algorithms in developing autonomous vehicle systems. © 2025 IEEE.

Robotic process automation (RPA) has emerged as one of the most lucrative technologies for automating business processes, replacing manual tasks, and freeing up employees for more productive work. Experimental research on RPA tools with respect to the usability dimension is largely unexplored in existing studies. Understanding user experience and tool effectiveness is vital to utilize RPA. The objective of this article is an experimental comparison of two RPA software's: UiPath and Power Automate. The comparison was done with a use case from logistic. It involves daily car part pickups that require invoice creation and subsequent sharing via email. The results of the study will give insights into usability and pave the way for enhanced RPA tool utilization across industries. The article can encourage more companies to adopt RPA by demonstrating tangible benefits and practical applications, thereby driving innovation and efficiency in business processes. © 2024 IEEE.

Currently, cybercrimes are a serious threat to computer networks. Researchers have come to view Network Intrusion Detection Systems as a critical defensive component and have worked to develop new methods to detect hostile network activity. However, unknown attacks are difficult to detect on a zero-day basis. Previous studies addressed detection or identification techniques using binary classifications of attacks. In this paper, we introduce a system for the detection and identification of network intrusions that combines the strengths of the misuse and anomaly detection techniques. Our approach integrates a Gaussian Mixture Model, identify attacks resembling normal distributions enhances early detection capability, for anomaly detection at zero day and supervised models for identification of known attacks. After that, we evaluated our system using the CICIDS2017 and CICIDS2018 datasets, focusing on unsupervised learning for initial attack detection and supervised learning for multiclass classification. Our empirical findings highlight superior performance in terms of accuracy and F1 score, underscoring the effectiveness of our proposed system. © 2024 IEEE.

At present, in the simultaneous localization and map construction (SLAM) algorithm, the more mature technology is the map construction in the static environment. However, there are currently moving objects in most environments, which will affect the accuracy and integrity of slam mapping. In this paper, we propose an improved vision SLAM based on ORB-SLAM2 that adds an independent parallel target detection thread to effectively filter low dynamic objects in the scene. Finally, we conduct an experimental evaluation using the TUM dataset, and the results show that our algorithm has a great improvement over ORB-SLAM2 in positioning accuracy and running time. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents the design and implementation of a home automation system that employs the MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) protocol, with AWS serving as the MQTT broker. The system is built using a NodeMCU microcontroller, interfacing with two analog sensors, one digital sensor, and three different actuators. An analog multiplexer (MUX) is employed to manage multiple analog inputs, while WiFi connectivity ensures seamless communication with the cloud. The user interface (UI) allows real-time monitoring and control of home parameters, including room temperature, lighting conditions, and door access events logged via RFID. This implementation demonstrates an efficient and scalable approach to home automation, leveraging cloud-based MQTT for reliable message delivery and enhanced user interaction. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapid development of high-speed railway technology, ensuring its operational safety has become an important issue. In particular, real-time monitoring of the high-speed railway pantograph network system is of great significance for preventing failures and reducing accidents. This research aims to improve the intelligent detection performance of high-speed railway pantograph network status through the improved YOLO algorithm. Research methods include the use of deep learning technology and image processing technology, focusing on improving the YOLO algorithm to enhance its detection accuracy in complex environments, especially its ability to identify small targets and its adaptability to dynamic environments. It is expected that through these improvements, more accurate and efficient status monitoring of high-speed railway pantographs will be achieved, thereby improving the safe operation level of high-speed railways. © 2024 IEEE.

The research emphasizes the creation of a powerful and efficient system for the automaticextraction of contact information from physical calling cards through computer vision and information extraction techniques. This is achieved by integrating Tesseract Optical Character Recognition (OCR) with the YOLO (You Only Look Once) object detection algorithm, which acts as a dynamic combination for text and relevant elements identification and digitization from calling cards. The developed system uses client-server architecture to enable communication and data processing seamlessly. The server handles computationally intensive tasks such as object detection, OCR processing, and data validation while the client side has an interactive user interface that enables easy uploading of images and retrieval of structured contact information. The optimizations include this: YOLO is customized for detecting particular card elements (name, phone number, email) and enhancing the capabilities of Tesseract OCR to improve effectiveness for text extraction from varied card formats or fonts in the system. It is designed to be scalable and efficient, processing large datasets without affecting accuracy. This approach not only eases the digitization of calling card details into databases but also goes a long way in contributing to the domains of computer vision, object detection, and mechanized information extraction. It extends the scope to broad applications in automated data entry, customer relationship management (CRM), and digital archival. It takes forward for AI-driven sustaining technologies the integration of these techniques into practical solutions by overcoming the challenges of data extraction from real-world images. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to create spaces that are secure, cozy, energy-efficient, and visually beautiful, smart buildings are becoming more and more sophisticated cyber-physical systems. However, as functional complexity, financial concerns, and market demands increase, traditional design methodologies are becoming less effective. Current framework's plan and activity have been totally changed by the presentation of automated smart building, which ensures expanded security, better inhabitant solace, and energy effectiveness. With an emphasis on MATLAB-based reproductions, this study offers a careful assessment of the plan interaction and improvement procedures for computerizing savvy structures. The study delineates how MATLAB makes it simpler to depict, reproduce, and investigate savvy building frameworks with certainty. Through the mix of numerous advancements, like sensors, regulators, and correspondence conventions, the research shows the turn of events and check of a mechanized smart building framework. The intelligent building's building automation system prioritizes a humanized interface and uses a combination of mechanical, electrical, and fire control systems, access control systems, and parking management systems to give building occupants a convenient and comfortable place to live and work. The discoveries show prominent additions in functional viability, natural adaptability, and energy utilization. The conventional heuristic and ad hoc design paradigms are becoming ineffective and inadequate for the future due to cost, the requirement to handle growing functional complexity, adaptability, supply chain fragmentation, and time-to-market pressure. © 2025 IEEE.
