Human-computer Interaction (HRI) is crucial in robotics. This article introduces a new method for human-machine interaction on robotic arms using a drag teaching approach. By analyzing the kinematics and dynamics of the Xarm7 robotic arm, the method reduces positioning difficulties. The F/T sensor on the arm detects force and torque. Direct human guidance is matched with robot response in real-time to control the arm's position and direction. The research also records and reproduces motion trajectories using cubic interpolation for precision. A mechanical claw on the arm detects and compares sensor data to position and grasp objects. Experimental results show similar shapes between the dragging and reproduced trajectories, with reduced motion errors. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's world the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) will result in a transformation of characteristics of employment. Due to the Advancement in this sector which has enabled new forms of automation and increased efficiency, it will result in creating concerns about job displacement, inequality, and the potential loss of human jobs to machines. The study related to the effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on employment. It will result in highlighting the best possible advantages and obstacles linked to this advanced technology like artificial intelligence. This paper reviews the current research on the topic and shows findings from a survey of workers in other industries. According to the survey, we are successfully able to find employees who acknowledge the possible advantages of AI. However, they also express concerns regarding its effects on employment stability and its capability to worsen prevalent discrepancies. This paper concludes by promoting policy recommendations for addressing the problems associated with AI and ensuring that this technology is Adapted. © 2023 IEEE.

The purpose of the article is to make a SWOT analysis of the possibility of using generative algorithms in the education of students. During natural disasters, having access to realtime ground information is paramount for disaster response teams to act swiftly and efficiently. To provide immediate assistance, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) can be quickly deployed to assess the situation on the ground. This paper introduces a decentralized multi-UAV control algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning to perform the task of real-time data collection from the flooded region autonomously. The decentralized policy allows the UAVs to work independently without any central command and control unit. This relieves the rescue teams from deploying any manpower in managing a centralized control unit to handle the UAVs. In this paper, the objective of the multi-UAV system is to independently distribute themselves to collect critical ground information from the flooded areas. The task is time-sensitive as the UAVs have finite energy and human lives might be at risk. To address this, we propose a decentralized training and execution approach with opportunistic communication. This allows each UAV to make decisions based on local information while also intermittently communicating with other UAVs. To develop optimal control policies, we employ the water flow estimation algorithm called D8 which utilizes surface elevation information to generate directed exploration strategies. We conducted experiments on simulated flood environments inspired by real-world scenarios. Our proposed decentralized multi-UAV model called dec-DQNC8 was compared with other prevalent area coverage techniques from the literature. The results signify the impact of our proposed model as it outperformed other techniques during training and demonstrated optimal performance when evaluated over a test environment. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to solve the cooperative control problem of multiple battery storage units in a DC microgrid, this paper proposes a distributed secondary control strategy. The strategy includes dynamic load current allocation and bus voltage restoration. Firstly, a communication network among neighboring units is constructed at the communication layer to reduce the communication burden. A current correction controller and an average voltage recovery controller based on distributed model predictive control(DMPC) are designed at the secondary control layer. These controllers reduce the effect of line impedance on bus voltage restoration. Compared to existing consensus control strategies, our proposed strategy demonstrates superior performance in both transient characteristics and tracking error of bus voltage control. Meanwhile, simulation results show that the proposed control strategy can accurately share load current and recover the average bus voltage under various complex operating conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

This study paper explores the critical topic of formal verification of smart contracts in distributed ledger technology (DLT) systems. Smart contracts, self-executing code running on blockchain platforms, have gained widespread adoption in various industries due to their automation and transparency benefits. However, the decentralized and immutable nature of DLT raises concerns regarding smart contract security, leading to vulnerabilities and potential exploits. Formal verification methods offer a systematic approach to analyze smart contracts for correctness and safety. This paper provides an overview of smart contracts, DLT, and the importance of formal verification. It reviews various formal verification techniques and presents state-of-The-Art tools and frameworks. The paper concludes with discussions on challenges, future research opportunities, and the role of formal verification in enhancing DLT-based applications' security and usability. © 2023 IEEE.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder that significantly impacts the respiratory and digestive systems, requiring early detection and precise management to improve patient outcomes. This research study presents a machine learning model designed to predict the presence, severity, and potential treatments for Cystic Fibrosis using genetic data. By leveraging collaborative filtering techniques, our model not only identifies individuals at risk but also enables personalized treatment plans based on genetic predispositions. The proposed model aims to revolutionize Cystic Fibrosis diagnosis and management by automating the screening process on a mass scale. This automation facilitates the identification of demographic areas and genetic populations with a higher susceptibility to Cystic Fibrosis, enabling targeted interventions. Through large-scale genetic data analysis, our approach ensures that at-risk populations receive timely and appropriate care, ultimately improving the quality of life for Cystic Fibrosis patients. The findings suggest that the implementation of this predictive model in clinical settings can lead to earlier and accurate diagnoses, personalized treatment plans, and significant advancements in Cystic Fibrosis care. The implications of this research extend beyond Cystic Fibrosis, offering a framework for applying machine learning in the diagnosis and treatment of other genetic disorders. © 2024 IEEE.

With an estimated 236,000 fatalities each year and 7% of injury-related deaths worldwide, drowning is still a major global concern. In light of drone technology, this study presents a drowning detection system that makes use of IoT and AI/ML. Although drowning events can happen to anyone, our strategy concentrates on vision-based techniques because of their inherent benefits, which include their non-intrusive nature and real-time monitoring capabilities. Our focus on vision-based solutions arises from the limitations of traditional wearable systems, which include their dependence on life buoys and insufficient infrastructure. Our technology provides an aerial perspective of drowning incidents through a wireless drone network. By merging RGB and IR vision, it improves detection accuracy across a range of light, weather, and water conditions. We use edge computing to maximize efficiency and deploy machine learning models, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), on drone microprocessors to enable real-time drowning detection. Furthermore, we use LoRa to create a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) to enable better drone cooperation and communication. In summary, this work introduces a drone-based drowning detection system that makes use of IoT and AI/ML. Our solution intends to improve public safety, reduce drowning incidents, and maybe save lives by addressing the shortcomings of current approaches and embracing fresh methodologies. © 2024 IEEE.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a term that refers to computers’ ability to move or do something. The goal of Joy Buolamwini, a computer scientist, is to make society more accountable and equitable through the use of technology. She had to start Algorithmic Justice League. This implies that AI is having a significant impact on the labor market as most tasks traditionally performed by humans such as reasoning and decision-making are now being done by machines. AI has been largely responsible for replacing human labour with automation in back-office operations and bringing about rapid change especially in routine based low skilled jobs. Its increasing productivity leads people to worry about losing their jobs. Identity theft is an increasing problem with grave implications for both individuals and financial institutions. Hence, banks must be adaptive given the sophistication of fraudsters. Buolamwini also stresses how important it is not to lose sight of our humanity in the face of technological progress. Monetary losses are among consequences resulting from identity theft. ©2024 IEEE.

The growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) sector has ushered in an unprecedented era of connectedness, enabling a profusion of applications ranging from smart homes to industrial automation. Researchers predict that by 2030, there will be about 50 billion IoT devices and gadgets globally, completely changing how we interact with our environment. However, because these interconnected systems are vulnerable to many cyber attacks, the rise of IoT devices has also raised worries about data security and privacy. This paper investigates the potential of cryptographic approaches to mitigate IoT data security issues. It proposes an all-encompassing framework to protect IoT data from various threats and vulnerabilities. The framework leverages the robustness of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) as the primary data encryption technology. Additionally, it integrates ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) in conjunction with Elliptic Curve Cryptography to enable fine-grained access control, ensuring that only authorized entities can access specific IoT data. Furthermore, to fortify the encryption process, the framework implements a secret sharing method for the encryption key, distributing the key across multiple entities, reducing the risk of a single point of failure. The suggested framework seeks to improve the security posture of IoT systems by integrating these cryptographic algorithms and guaranteeing the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of data in IoT contexts. ©2024 IEEE.
