In clinical practice, an electrocardiogram (ECG), which analyzes the electrical activity of the human heart, is a common cardiovascular diagnostic test. The ECG data can be stored and diagnosed effectively. However, precise positioning of the ECG electrodes is necessary for a reliable ECG tracing. This has an impact on how ECG monitors are used to check on patients at home. On the other hand, the Phonocardiogram (PCG) is a standard method for quantifying the properties of heart sounds in order to monitor and assess cardiac activity. With the advancement of wearable sensors, it is now simpler to record the heart's sound. We proposed a deep learning approach to translating PCG signals to ECG waveforms. This technique can be utilized to monitor cardiovascular disease in consumer wearable device development. The proposed method is evaluated on a benchmark dataset of normal and anormal cardiac data. Experimental results show that our proposed approach is reasonable and effective. The generated ECG outputs can achieve a high accuracy, and the root mean squared error (RMSE) is 0.053. © 2023 IEEE.

The technology of ion-plasma coating is a continuous process that can be divided into three strictly consecutive stages. Compliance with the strict regulations of the technological process directly affects the quality of the finished product and the absence of defective products. Installation of ion-plasma spraying can operate almost automatically. However, some processes require an operator: loading and unloading a tool, selecting a recipe to work with, and setting up a plant. The automation system must implement a number of control algorithms that are simple from the point of view of software implementation on modern microprocessors. More significant is the possibility of modifications and adaptation of the developed software. In this case, it is necessary to have a computer and develop a human-machine interface to interact with the operator. Previously developed interfaces do not meet the requirements. This is explained by the fact that the task of developing an interface was considered separately from the task of developing an automatic control system. If automated control is implemented in such interfaces, then, as a rule, only with the help of algorithms for implementing sequential execution of operations according to specified conditions. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

As a result of the steadily increasing market share of battery-electric vehicles, the demands on the battery system in terms of range and fast-charging capability are becoming tougher in order to meet customer needs. Depending on the design of the cell and the electrodes in particular, the lithium-ion cell can be optimized in terms of its energy and power density, but the two parameters are generally in conflict. This paper therefore addresses the influence of electrode thickness, porosity, and porosity-layered electrodes on fast-charging capability and energy density. For this purpose, a three-dimensional electrical and thermal model is implemented, which is parameterized and validated based on a high-energy cylindrical cell (NMC 811 - Graphite-Si). To simulate the electrical behavior, a half-cell Equivalent Circuit Model is used. Starting from the reference cell, different electrode structures are investigated in terms of their fast-charging capability and energy density with the objective of finding an optimal combination of energy and power density. © 2023 IEEE.

The traditional bearingless motor system controlled by two three-phase inverters has a high cost and volume. In this paper, the nine-switch converter is applied to the bearingless motor control system, which can control the torque winding and suspension winding of the bearingless motor at the same time to save three MOSFETs. This paper proposes a nine-switch inverter SVPWM method to reduce switching loss. This method is no longer limited to only considering the action sequence of voltage vectors but reduces the switching number from selecting voltage vectors. The optimal nine-switch inverter basic voltage vector selection principle is determined by comparing the switching times of each sector combination with different voltage vector combinations. Finally, the simulation results verify the effectiveness of this method. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This research identifies diseases in peach leaves using federated learning and a convolutional neural network (CNN) model. In light of the growing precision agricultural industry and the need for data privacy, federated learning offers a dependable method for training models on distributed data sources without centralizing the data. In this study, a set of 6,012 images representing five different types of peach leaf diseases were used. Four other clients with varying amounts of data were employed to train the CNN model;the values ranged from 90.72% to 95.43%, 89.05% to 94.86%, 91.55% to 93.82%, and 96% to 98%, respectively. The global performance metrics computed via federated averaging consistently showed a high accuracy of 97% for every client. This illustrates how well local models may be combined to produce a reliable and broadly applicable global model. Additionally, across all classes. Averaging 93.10%, 92.80%, 92.10%, and 93.20% throughout three standards. The research also illustrates how well CNN models recognize and classify complex patterns associated with various peach leaf diseases, diverse and intricate agricultural datasets, more intricate CNN architectures and federated learning algorithms - including the combination of transfer learning techniques - may be explored in future studies. © 2023 IEEE.

Everyone who has an app that can access the block chain can get their hands on the data. There are blocks for each new piece of data that come in. A chronological chain of data is formed when a block is filled with data and chained to the previous block. Smart things are protected from cyber-attacks thanks to the IoT's technology's transparency and virtual incorruptibility. The block chain may be used to enable secure connectivity between IoT devices by storing data in transactions and confirming those transactions with nodes. The Internet of Things (IOT) has helped industrial automation reach new heights. We can improve the security and privacy by adding block chain to it. © 2022 IEEE.

Gesture recognition is still actively researched in non-contact human-computer interaction (HCI), where the Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) algorithm is commonly employed. However, the computation load of traditional DTW algorithms during the matching phase presents a challenge for gesture recognition, especially when the number of reference gestures in the template library increases. In order to solve this problem, a Constraints-based Dynamic Time Warping (CDTW) method is proposed in this paper, including Global-Path Constraint, First-Frame Constraint, and Feature-Vector Constraint. These three constraints are expected to limit the region of the warping path, exclude several reference gestures from the template library, and reduce computation load directly with reduced elements of the feature vector. To verify the proposed CDTW method, Microsoft Kinect-based comparative experiments with the traditional DTW method have been carried out. Experimental results show that our CDTW method boosts the efficiency of gesture recognition with a 17% decrease in recognition time and a 3% increase in average recognition accuracy, compared to the traditional DTW algorithm. © 2023 ACM.

In this paper, a coaxial twin rotor unmanned helicopter is taken as the research object to study the anti disturbance problem during the homing approach and landing phases of unmanned aerial vehicles. In order to improve the anti disturbance performance of coaxial helicopters against external disturbances, an active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) is selected to design the attitude control law for coaxial helicopters in the marine landing environment. An improved particle swarm optimization algorithm was designed to optimize the parameters of the active disturbance rejection control law. The simulation results show that the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm can significantly improve the parameter tuning speed and accuracy;The auto disturbance rejection control law with optimized parameters has good dynamic response and robustness in strong interference environments. © 2024 The Authors.

A Comprehensive Examination of Cloud-Enabled Frameworks for Power Management Systems: Current State, Challenges, and Forward-Looking Guidance in Big Data Analytics' examines cloud-enabled power management system frameworks in depth. This article provides a thorough evaluation of cloud-enabled power management system frameworks. This article examines the present state of power management systems from a range of perspectives. It emphasizes the importance of shifting away from traditional, locally focused methodologies and toward big data analytics-driven, cloud-based solutions. In this study, we look at the wide-ranging implications that cloud-enabled frameworks have had on a variety of sectors, including smart grids and data centers. It is hard to exaggerate the significance of these frameworks in handling the exponential expansion of data while also improving efficiency, scalability, and adaptability. This research acknowledges the relevance of data security and privacy, the necessity for interoperability and standardization in this rapidly expanding environment, and the difficulty in managing the huge volumes of data created by contemporary energy systems. This is achieved while stressing the numerous benefits of cloud-hosted data centers and intelligent grids. The paper also underlines how advantageous cloud-based data centers and smart grids are to their respective users. The essay proposes potential solutions to these difficulties in the form of future recommendations. © 2023 IEEE.

Li-ion batteries are extensively utilized in energy storage and automotive fields due to their high energy density, long lifespan, and low cost advantages. However, thermal runaway caused by internal short circuits in Li-ion battery cells occasionally happens. Early internal short circuit detection and warning are crucial for ensuring the safe and stable operation of lithium-ion battery systems. Accurate battery fault diagnosis techniques play a significant role in both theoretical research and practical applications of battery cells. In this paper, a voltage correlation coefficient and extended Kalman filter-based method for early internal short circuit (ISC) detection and quantitative diagnosis of lithium-ion battery cells is proposed. Firstly, the voltage correlation coefficient between different cells within the battery pack is used to identify normal cells and short-circuited cells. Then, Thevenin models are established separately for normal and short-circuited cells, and model parameters are estimated based on the forgetting factor recursive least square (FFRLS). The extended Kalman filter (EKF) is utilized to conduct the estimation of the state of charge (SOC) for both normal and faulty cells, and the short circuit resistance is quantified by calculating the SOC difference. This allows for quantifying the severity of the fault. The proposed method is applied to battery packs with different degrees of faults, and its effectiveness is demonstrated. © 2023 IEEE.
