Replacing military aircraft with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) offers advantages such as reducing costs and risks associated with conventional military aircraft. To defend against enemy UAV attacks, anti-drone systems are used. While most technologies focus on drone detection, this paper proposes a process of tracking targets using arbitrary UAV to enhance camera data quality or directly engage and neutralize targets. The system comprises drone detection, movement prediction, and chasing. Devices such as radar are used to detect drones, and they provide Time-Space-Position Information (TSPI) using suitable data formats. Using Machine Learning (ML) techniques make it feasible to predict an object's future location, represented with equations. Utilizing trained machine learning models, the Auto-pilot Application Programming Interface (API) of the drone is employed to track based on the predicted results. Through experiments, the feasibility of predicting an object's future location using various ML techniques has been confirmed. Furthermore, verification has been conducted to establish the attainability of implementing the Auto-pilot API through the utilization of DJI's API. © 2023 ICROS.

The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the evolution of electronic grids, smart neighborhoods, and innovative concepts has empowered decision-makers with data utilization and enhanced automation across various domains. To mitigate potential risks, it is imperative to bolster the security features of IoT devices before their integration into broader platforms. This exploration expected to devise an extensive methodology, comprising of seven phases, for executing solidifying tasks to lessen the assault surface. Utilizing the Favored Detailing Materials for Orderly Examinations and meta-investigation strategies, we led a broad writing audit. By taking on a system that tends to security components at every one of the three degrees of IoT plan, we figured out a suggested approach for assessing the security level of an IoT item. To survey the assault surface, a fitted gamble lattice well defined for IoT was created. The widespread deployment of intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) devices brings strict latency demands on complex workload patterns such as workflows. In such scenarios, tremendous data is generated and processed in accordance with specific service chains. Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) has proven its feasibility in reducing the traffic in the core network and relieving cloud datacenters of fragmented computational demands. However, existing solutions to multi-workflow scheduling and offloading in MEC are still limited due to the fact that they usually make task dispatching decisions prior to real execution, making it difficult to cope with the dynamicity of the environment and the mobility of users. To address this challenge, we developed a novel computation offloading strategy by synthesizing a Harris Hawks Optimization-based particle filter trajectory prediction algorithm for forecasting future user locations, a clustering-based multi-workflow merging algorithm for identifying redundant tasks and a Lyapunov optimization-based DQN algorithm for yielding computation offloading schedules. Simulation results clearly show that method beats traditional ones across multiple performance metrics. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Currently timed defrost and on-demand defrost are the two main defrosting methods in the refrigeration industry. As one of the on-demand defrosting methods, the use of image recognition technology for on-demand defrosting of cold storage heat exchangers is considered to be an efficient and easy-to-operate control method. However, for different operating environments in cold storage refrigeration systems, the recognition accuracy of the heat exchanger defrosting state is greatly reduced by the existing digital image processing techniques. For this reason, a method for recognizing the evaporator frost state using a gray scale covariance matrix combined with a multilayer limit learning machine (GLCM-ML-EML) is proposed. Using the laboratory environment, a large number of pictures of cold storage evaporator frosting under different operating environments were taken. And the frost pictures were categorized into three categories (no frost, light frost, and heavy frost). The experimental results show that in ternary classification, the recognition accuracy is up to 98.84% based on the gray-scale covariance matrix with multilayer limit learning machine. The recognition accuracy is improved by 6.77% compared to the traditional CNN model. It shows that this technique has high recognition accuracy and has good application prospects in the field of cold storage defrost control. © 2024 IEEE.

Man-made consciousness means to lessen our physical association with electronic devices. Using voice, body language, and other techniques, this technology is currently being developed to enhance our natural interactions with gadgets. Because they enable us to carry out our day-to-day responsibilities with straightforward commands, virtual personal assistants (VPAs) are rapidly gaining popularity. Virtual personal assistants (VPAs) based on various use cases have been developed by numerous multinational corporations, including intelligent devices like Echodot and Alexa. These virtual assistants are having a drawback of security and data theft, So here IntelliNeo, The intelligent personal assistant is designed in such a way that it addresses the security aspects and also allow us to customize our Virtual Personal Assistant (VPA) based on our needs. The methodology of building IntelliNeo involves Voice Acknowledgment, Text Processing, and the added advantage of active background noise cancellation makes our assistant stand out from the competition. Ultimately the purpose of IntelliNeo is to effortlessly automate the daily tasks of its user. Industry executives in the Architecture, engineering, and Construction (AEC) business have deliberately escalated the need for precise, unambiguous, and intuitive knowledge. Industry 4.0 is of paramount importance towards the formation of a virtual logistics system in AEC that facilitates automation in manufacturing operations and acts as a link between distinct stakeholders and construction initiatives. Immersive Virtual and Augmented Reality (VAR) technologies are rolling out in many entertainment and scientific areas as consumer-based Head-Mounted Displays (HMDs) become more ubiquitous. Furthermore, VAR innovations have great practical utility in the AEC industry due to improvements in Building Information Modeling (BIM). Although the AEC business has been reluctant to adopt VAR innovations in comparison to certain other sectors, mainly due to a paucity of reliable research contrasting the rise in benefits versus the unit price of deployment. This study aims to explore the dynamics of the industry in VAR technology adoption and addresses AEC strategic initiatives. Due to the exponential growth of digital data the need for security and authenticity plays an important role in various applications. Hence an effective method is required to protect the data, one such method is Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-256). The SHA-256 is a strong and secure algorithm providing authenticity and digital signature. Though SHA-256 has security, reliability and strong collision resistance features, it is vulnerable to Algebraic Fault Analysis (AFA) and Differential Fault Analysis (DFA) attacks. It also requires longer processing time for hash generation. In order to overcome the above mentioned drawbacks, this study proposes a method called Enhanced Secure Hash Algorithm (ESHA-256) with less computation time and more security. The proposed ESHA-256 has 32 rounds and modified compression function for hash generation. In this method, initially the 64 word vectors are reduced into 32 by applying XOR with adjacent word vectors and the resulting 32 word vectors are given as an input to all the rounds. The compression function is modified by incorporating the first 32-bit fractional segment of cube root of initial 64 primes as two parts. The experimental results of proposed ESHA-256 produces the hash with minimum time which is 53% less when compared existing SHA-256 and also highly resistance to AFA and DFA attacks. © 2023 IEEE.

The digital twin model can be constructed in cyberspace that is fully equivalent to the physical entity, and it can enable designers to explore and optimize new designs based on existing CAD models during the design phase. This requires the ability to accurately retrieve similar assembly models from the existing library. However, in designing single and small-batch products like tools or fixtures, it's challenging to find assembly models with similar structures. A solution is to use digital scanning devices to capture point clouds of the physical product and reverse-engineer a digital model in cyberspace. By comparing the point cloud data with the existing assembly models, designers can find parts or components with similar shapes and improve their design efficiency. This paper proposes a method for retrieving CAD assembly models based on geometric similarity by comparing the shape descriptor derived from the point cloud of the product with the existing models. An experimental study was conducted based on a mixture of public model datasets and local designs. The experimental results showed high accuracy in retrieving partial or whole assembly models based on geometric similarity. © 2023 IEEE.
