Several applications adapt the smart technologies to the existing versions to make the application more comfortable to its consumers, in which the technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and so on. The adaptation of such technologies provides a huge support to the organizations and individuals to attain the commercial and non-commercial needs in good manner. The logic of Internet of Things provides a great support to automate the organizations, industries and even a residential buildings in proper way using such powerful technology advancements as well as it provides a way to the users to operate and monitor the respective place in global perception without any range restrictions. In this paper, the logic of Internet of Things is applied to the industrial automation needs and attain the benefits from that in correct manner. This is done with the abilities of Artificial Intelligence as well and the proposed logic is named as Artificial Intelligence Assisted Network Paradigm (AIANP). The proposed AIANP provides a huge support to automation industry to control and monitor the industrial environment without any security lackings and delay by means of associating the AI logic in its approach. This is achieved by means of associating the internet enabled services to the industry to operate the machineries accordingly. In literature lots of IoT based automation approaches are available but all are strucked up with certain limitations and lackings, so that a new approach is required to resolve the issues over conventional automation technologies. This paper provides a robust industrial automation abilities to the users to control and monitor the industry in proper way using proposed Artificial Intelligence Assisted Network Paradigm. And the resulting section provides the proper proof for the proposed approach efficiency and security effectiveness in graphical manner. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper proposes a scalable DAQ system using a 12-bit DAC, Op-Amp, and I/O expander connected to an ESP32 via Ethernet. Prioritizing its precision and amplified voltage control, component selection considering DAC linearity (INL, DNL) and rail-to-rail operation. Proteus simulations aided design, and hardware followed datasheets. Challenges in DAC selection highlight the importance of rigorous evaluation. This work offers a method for scalable DAQs with integrated functionalities, paving the way for intelligent applications. In conclusion, the evaluation confirms excellent DAC linearity, ensuring accurate voltage control for each digital input. © 2024 IEEE.

Using CNN and GAN improves road safety, says study. Modern machine learning techniques for mobile crowdsourcing may identify driver fatigue early. Our convolutional neural network (CNN) model detects drivers' fatigue using facial expressions, head movements, and other visual clues. Mobile devices and high-resolution cameras make the system straightforward to install in automobiles. GAN (Generative Advisal Network) handles unequal and limited training data. Creating realistic, synthetic weary driver photos improves the dataset and helps CNN learn from different driving scenarios and face features. Our edge-based computing distinguishes it. In mobile crowdsourcing with unpredictable internet connections, processing data locally on users' smartphones minimizes latency and bandwidth. The edge-based solution processes sensitive data locally on the device rather than sending it to servers, increasing user privacy. Extensive testing showed our system diagnosed driver weariness better than others. GAN-generated data increased model performance in under-represented training datasets. The study shows how to merge CNN and GAN in edge computing with 98.4% accuracy and driver fatigue monitoring. We found important implications for mobile crowdsourcing and intelligent transportation system development. © 2024 IEEE.

With the development of economy and the continuous progress of science and technology, people are increasingly pursuing a highly safe and comfortable living environment and intelligent and diversified information services. Smart home system is generally based on old and new houses, and through a series of wireless wired communication technology, network integration technology and automation application technology, a family management system composed of environmental data collection, terminal control of household appliances, security alarm and other related aspects is established, thus providing a highly integrated and comfortable home living space. In line with this trend, we designed DCA-3000 smart home system, which is suitable for the middle and high-end market. This system can realize the functions of home-based security and remote meter reading. However, the Zigbee communication module, a data acquisition sub-node, adopted at that time, has high power consumption and no sleep function, so it is difficult to supply power with batteries for a long time. On the basis of analysis and design, a temperature acquisition subsystem of smart home wireless network based on ZigBee technology is implemented. Through the implementation of the subsystem and relevant experimental tests, the feasibility of the overall scheme design of the smart home system in this paper is verified. Time delay estimation using fixed-time terminal sliding mode control (TDEFxSMC) for unknown nonlinear systems with uncertainty and external disturbances is presented in this study. Firstly, the notion of fixed-time terminal sliding mode control (FxSMC) is outlined and thoroughly examined. Using the FxSMC scheme, nonsingular fixed-time control, non-chatter control inputs, and high performance tracking positions have been achieved. To estimate the unknown dynamics, proposed method incorporates a TDE scheme. The Lyapunov theorem is applied to find whether the proposed system can achieve its stability in a fixed-time. The effectiveness of the suggested method is evaluated and demonstrated by presenting the results of the proposed method implemented to the nonlinear robot dynamics. © 2024 IEEE.

This work introduces a feed forward controller for load frequency regulation in multi-area interconnected power system in order to overcome the sluggish performance of feedback control methods. In case of the feedback control approach, the control action is taken after disturbances occur, whereas in the feed forward control approach, the control action is taken before disturbances occurred in the output. Initially, a two-area interconnected power system with thermal generators is simulated with conventional controllers and the performances are compared with the proposed feed forward controller. The system's performances are also compared by tuning the controller with different popular optimization techniques and the recent artificial hummingbird algorithm. The superior optimization algorithm is applied to tune the proposed controller sensitivity analysis, and the responses were reported to be satisfactory. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently, space-air-ground integrated network (SAGIN) has garnered considerable interest from both academia and industry due to its broad-coverage and high-reliability features collaborated by low earth orbit (LEO) satellites, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and ground devices. In the meantime, the integration of SAGIN with other emerging communication technologies is promising for research and applications. Mobile edge computing (MEC) enables the resource limited devices, i.e., the Internet of things (IoTs) devices, to offload their data packet to the data processing center for computing. In this paper, a space-air-ground integrated MEC network is studied, where the UAV and satellite are capable for providing computing services to IoT devices. All IoT devices could split their data packet for local computing and offloading. The IoT devices can communicate with the UAV by active mode and/or passive mode through backscatter communication. The utility efficiency maximization problem that jointly considers the data volume, time latency, and energy consumption is formulated. As the problem is nonconvex and can not be addressed by conventional methods, a deep reinforcement learning based method is proposed to acquire the data offloading policy. Numerous numerical results confirm the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method compared to other benchmark methods. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper examines the relationship between the performance of Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controllers and their update frequency, using the Pololu 3pi+ 32U4 robot as a testbed. Through a series of experiments conducted across a frequency range of 2 to 500 Hz,a non-linear correlation is identified where both high and low update frequencies negatively impact control performance. The findings indicate that an optimal frequency range of 40 to 120 Hz significantly enhances the PID controller's ability to achieve target tracking with minimal overshoot and reduced setting time. This study highlights the importance of update frequency as a critical, yet often overlooked, parameter in the design and implementation of PID control systems [1] [9], providing insights for future research and practical applications in robotics and automation. © 2024 IEEE.

The advancement of Quantum information and quantum computing has led to an increase in algorithms and new methods to exploit quantum computers in various domains, such as breaking cryptography, Quantum Machine learning, Quantum Eigensolvers for materials modeling etc. One such way of control-ling quantum computers has led to the inception and emergence of Quantum Image Processing and Quantum Steganography. Steganography has been widely used for secure communication in the past. With the evolution of quantum computing, the exploitation of qubits for image-based steganography has gained attention from academics, government, and military stakeholders alike to improve their respective secure communication channels. This paper aims to discuss a preliminary application of Quantum Steganography using IBM's open source software development kit Qiskit [9] in the Quantum Era. © 2024 IEEE.

By 2025 all the existing vehicles will be completely replaced by Electric Vehicles(EV) globally. Every year automotive industry introduces EVs with new features. An onboard charger with bidirectional capability makes EVs an energy storage unit. Vehicle-to-grid operation(V2G) of an EV is a promising solution for load frequency control problems. In this work Model Predictive control(MPC) based V2G operation is proposed. In the proposed work a three-phase Active Front End(AFE) converter(AC-DC converter) with bidirectional capability is used for designing an Onboard charger. Here the optimal discrete operation of the AFE converter is based on finding desired switching states using the MPC. By using the proposed method the power converter will maintain unity power factor, sinusoidal input current, and low voltage ripple. Simulations are done using Matlab/Simulink and the results prove the efficacy of the proposed technique. © 2023 IEEE.
