In this paper, the software implementation of a 4-axis Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Aram (SCARA) for the determination of various possible sets of joint variable vectors to reach the goal is presented. This MATLAB code implements the inverse kinematics of a SCARA robot to generate and simulate a linear trajectory in three-dimensional space. The SCARA robot's parameters, including link lengths and end-effector dimensions, are defined, and a trajectory is generated by specifying desired points in the XYZ space. Inverse kinematics calculations are performed to determine the corresponding joint angles for each point in the trajectory. The code also includes optional forward kinematics to validate the results by computing the end-effector position. The trajectory is visualized through a three-dimensional plot. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

This paper provides a new solution of unmanned ship control with unmeasurable yaw angle in complex communication environments. A new adaptive output feedback controller is designed in this paper to ensure that the position error converges to zero asymptotically and meets the prescribed performance requirement. It is revealed that the designed control law can make sure that the tracking deviation convergence is not affected by the yaw angle estimated error. A simulation example is designed and completed to demonstrate the validity of the proposed controller.

Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the emerging technologies that play a central role in developing Industry 4.0. IoT has significant potential to revolutionize various industries by integrating connected devices, allowing for improved efficiency and automation. However, the widespread adoption of wearable IoT devices has also increased security concerns, particularly regarding personal data and privacy. Ensuring security for highly resource-constrained IoT devices, such as wearable devices, is paramount for our safety. Due to the device-level constraints and highly limited resources of IoT devices, traditional cyber privacy and security solutions are unsuitable for many IoT applications and systems. The concept of Blockchain, which forms the foundation of distributed ledger and cryptocurrency, is a potential candidate for enhancing the communication security of IoT. We propose PacketChain, a Blockchain-inspired method for ensuring packet transmission security for highly constrained wearable IoT devices. The proposed PacketChain method provides an additional security mechanism complementing the current cryptographic approaches and solutions used by IoT devices. PacketChain provides an application layer solution where one packet's hash value is included in the subsequent packet, thereby, creating a chain of packets. Using PacketChain, many attacks can be quickly detected and avoided. PacketChain is designed at low complexity and overhead, and highly resource- constrained wearable IoT devices can use it. We implement the PacketChain solution and experimentally found its suitability in IoT applications. PacketChain can avoid or reduce the impact of several cyber attacks, such as packet drop, packet fake, TCP header hijack, and packet replay attacks which are major types of man-in-the-middle attacks. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a novel approach for landing an autonomous quadcopter using reinforcement learning (RL) in the AirSim simulation environment running on Unreal Engine. The complicated dynamics and unpredictability of quadcopter landing procedures make them difficult to execute and frequently reduce the efficacy of conventional control techniques. In order to overcome these difficulties, the suggested RL model interacts with an incredibly lifelike simulation to learn the best landing techniques, which faithfully replicates physical principles. Impressing with notable improvements in landing precision and resilience in many scenarios, this model holds potential to improve unmanned aerial vehicle operations. By utilizing reinforcement learning within a practical simulation setting, this study advances the creation of more effective and flexible autonomous landing systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), potentially leading to benefits in practical uses. ©2024 IEEE.

Nowadays, Home automation has acquired a significant attention due to its potential to enhance convenience and efficiency in managing household systems. This paper presents a novel method to home automation utilizing the MQTT protocol, with a system is implemented using three ESP32 nodes and a Node- Red server is running on a Raspberry Pi, enabling users to control from Raspberry Pi as well as client terminals. The proposed system enables the users to control and monitor home appliances remotely from anywhere. By using the lightweight MQTT protocol, the system provides the real-time communication between the nodes and the server, ensure responsive control and data monitoring. The implementation of ESP32 nodes provides the flexibility and scalability, while Node-RED provides the user friendly interface for system management. Experimental results show the system effectiveness for maintaining reliable connectivity between nodes and server, also providing actionable insights into appliance usage. This work highlights the potential of MQTT-based home automation systems to provide enhanced control and monitoring capabilities in modern smart homes. © 2024 IEEE.

The Hive Destruction Protocol (HDP) introduces a cutting-edge automated border defense system that enhances security operations through advanced human recognition using YOLO, precise GPS tracking, and coordinated drone responses. Soldiers are equipped with camera-integrated spectacles that facilitate the rapid identification of enemy targets via visual cues and hand gestures. Upon confirming a target, the system transmits accurate GPS coordinates in real time to autonomous drones, which are deployed to neutralize threats from multiple angles, creating confusion and minimizing detection risk. To ensure reliability and real-time processing in dynamic environments, HDP employs optimized communication protocols for secure data exchange between ground personnel and drones, allowing for seamless coordination among multiple units, each capable of independently engaging identified threats based on shared GPS data. The integration of machine learning algorithms improves the system even more flexible to changing field conditions, improving detection accuracy and robustness under various environmental constraints. Overall, the Hive Destruction Protocol represents a forward-thinking solution for border defense, leveraging artificial intelligence and automation to provide proactive and responsive capabilities in critical security applications. © 2025 IEEE.

Combating wildfires is an inherently perilous occupation, presenting firefighters with numerous risks. One critical responsibility of firefighters is to monitor the progression of fire borders and identify areas prone to further spread. Insufficient understanding of fire spread often results in accidents. The utilization of an air-ground heterogeneous multiple agent system (HMAS), comprising Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Uncrewed Ground Vehicles (UGVs), for wildfire surveillance holds immense potential as it can replace humans in hazardous fire tracking tasks, leading to a significant reduction in operational expenses. In this article, we propose a finite-time fault-tolerant elliptical formation control algorithm for an air-ground HMAS, assigned to collaboratively monitor the spreading of wildfires in an elliptical pattern. During the fire monitoring mission, the HMAS encounters communication link and actuator faults. The control algorithm incorporates a High-Order Super-Twist Observer (HOSTO) to estimate the multi-source disturbances, including actuator faults and external disturbances, as well as the Nonlinear Fractional-Order Terminal Sliding Mode (NFTSM) method, featuring a novel sliding surface with an exponential variable. The proposed control algorithm ensures that all agents actively monitor the elliptical wildfire, and the cooperative tracking error converges to zero within a finite time. Comparative simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. © 2024 IEEE.

This research examined the impact of deep learning on healthcare visuals. Deep learning methods provide healthcare professionals with tools such as neural networks for classification, information, and expertise. This article reviews various clinical imaging tools and advanced techniques for collecting clinical science information. The Classification Neural Network in ultrasound imaging learns the characteristics of anatomy using a large dataset of images from actual tumor cases. CNN-based algorithms can be applied to intrinsic bias and photographic equipment for capturing visuals. The results of this research can influence the region-bias model using hepatic ultrasound scans in various fields. In this study the datasets were developed using producer and year on production of ultrasonic imaging devices. The dataset was split that parts for the evaluation, with the machine learning trained on the data created based on the number of machine learning procedures used. We analyze the study's results using both inside and outside domain data, highlighting the discrepancy between the two. Our analysis revealed that combining related mitigation strategies outperforms classification. If traditional methods prove insufficient, a new approach for reducing machine discrepancies in the framework is necessary for successful use of outside domain data. © 2024 IEEE.

In addition to the shortage in data as well as the low quality of MRI images, one of the most difficult tasks in contemporary medical imaging is the diagnosis of tumors in brain. This work presents a new approach to enhance diagnostic accuracy using sophisticated preprocessing techniques. Combining BRATS 2023 and Cheng et al. datasets to apply cutting-edge deep learning preprocessing methods with Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), specifically DCGAN, Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE), and gamma correction, it aims to significantly improve the quality of MRI images. As a result, updated data should be generated with greater precision and detail, making it possible to identify tumor-affected areas with greater accuracy. Thorough assessment, demonstrated by metrics such as Accuracy (0.98), Specificity (0.99), Sensitivity (0.99), AUC (0.65), Dice Coefficient (0.67), and Precision (0.71), highlights possible advancements in brain tumor identification and treatment, thereby highlighting the effectiveness of the suggested approach. © 2024 IEEE.

Many farmers already started using the Greenhouse Farming and Smart Irrigation System. The Sri Lankan agriculture sector is comparatively underdeveloped in using technological inputs for farming activities. In this project, we have built an irrigation system based on WSN technology and IoT technology. An efficient drip irrigation system is being developed here that can automatically manage the flow of water to plants based on the soil moisture level in the field. This smart irrigation system is equipped with IoT-based communication capabilities that allow the remote user to remotely monitor field parameters such as soil moisture levels, temperature, and humidity, as well as manage water supply in an automated or manual mode. Furthermore, the project includes temperature/humidity sensors, and soil moisture sensors that allow a remote user to monitor these parameters over the Internet and control water distribution in two different fields based on them. These parameters obtained from the field are stored in real time in a remote database. Through the proposed smart irrigation scheme, it will be possible to monitor the level of elements like temperature and humidity which lead to disease outbreaks in the field. A practical, efficient, and useful way to irrigate farmers' crops. © 2024 IEEE.
