In the world of software development nowadays, many applications are available on both Android and iOS platforms. Each app solves a unique problem statement with a better solution and idea. In this modern era, apps are available to fulfill and understand the user's needs. In the same way nowadays, there are many laundry service platforms available in towns and rural areas, it is generally more likely to be found in multi-store residential or university buildings where there is usually a lot of cost or dorm. The general issue with the existing laundry applications is that users face many issues while booking the service. These existing laundry applications are not intuitive and user-friendly for the users while using the app. Students have certain communication issues with the service provider when using the laundry facilities at institutions located in different states or locations, and this gives a thumbs down to the laundry service provider for being unreliable. From this project, we hope to build a well- interactive, user-friendly, and secured laundry application for Android and iOS applications that helps users easily book their services and communicate easily with the service providers. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

This article presents an innovative approach to airborne remote terminals, addressing limitations of traditional systems through a software and hardware solution enabling flexible system architecture and functional decoupling. The proposed solution aims to overcome challenges such as tightly coupled computing resources, inflexible bus topologies, and hindered cross-platform reuse. The focus lies on power line carrier (PLC) communication technology, utilizing aircraft power lines for data transmission to reduce weight and complexity. Extensive research was conducted on signal modulation and carrier coupling techniques tailored for airborne terminals, with the selection of the most suitable technical route based on thorough analysis. A system simulation model was developed to validate the chosen approach, allowing performance evaluation in a simulated environment. While the article provides a comprehensive overview, detailed analysis of factors like power supply characteristics, signal propagation, noise, interference, and operational conditions' impact on communication systems remains pending. Nevertheless, the established model enables further optimization and evaluation by researchers to refine modulation and coupling techniques and enhance overall system performance before hardware implementation and testing. © The Institution of Engineering & Technology 2024.

Cloud computing adoption has increased dramatically over the past few years, making the protection of sensitive data on the cloud a major concern. In this paper network security is presented as an effective way to ensure the security of data on the cloud using methods like encryption, access control, and DLP. The method concentrates on the security of the network infrastructure, and also the internal cloud environment security controls. This methodology combines internal and external security measures to provide an overall protection of data housed in the cloud. Conclusions The work is mainly intended to increase the understanding of the need for network security and shielding data in the cloud, and someways to enhance data security in the cloud for businesses and organizations. © 2024 IEEE.

This research work introduces an innovative system for information display in various settings using e-ink displays. The proposed system aims to replace traditional paper based displays with electronic ink technology, offering numerous advantages including cost savings, environmental sustainability, real-time updates, and improved readability. By leveraging the flexibility and customization options of e-ink displays, the proposed system enables dynamic and interactive information dissemination. Implementation of the system spans across public transportation, healthcare facilities, retail, education, hospitality, museums, public spaces, corporate environments, and outdoor advertising. The integration of e-ink displays revolutionizes information display by providing instant updates, reducing printing costs and waste, and enhancing communication efficiency. The proposed systems contribute to more sustainable and user-friendly approach to information dissemination, offering improved accessibility, storage efficiency, durability, and integration with modern technologies. Overall, the idea presents a novel solution for replacing traditional paper-based displays with e-ink technology, revolutionizing the way information is displayed and communicated in various contexts.

A control device for electric monorail transport vehicles based on Si1000 has been developed to improve the reliability and safety of the entire vehicle operation. This control device includes two parts: manual remote control and onboard control, which can achieve remote wireless control of the start stop, direction, and running speed of electric monorail transport vehicles. The communication distance and speed control of Si1000 were tested by simulating the terrain of mountain orchards. The test results show that the Si1000 wireless communication module can achieve a communication success rate of 100% within a communication distance of 500 meters, and can effectively control the running direction and speed of monorail transport vehicles. © 2023 SPIE.

Clock Synchronization and Timestamping of Data on Acquisition at the Wellsite: Guidelines and Recommendations

Due to the nature of drilling operations, there are several companies collecting data at the rig. The data acquisition system of each com-pany applies its own timestamp to the data. Subsequent aggregation of data (for example, in a data repository) relies on synchronized timestamps applied to the different data sources to correctly collate the data. Unfortunately, synchronized timestamping is rarely achieved. In this paper, we document the different sources of errors in timestamping of data and provide guidelines to help mitigate some of these causes. There are many reasons for the unsynchronized timestamping of data from different sources. It can be as simple as clock synchronization at the rig;each data-providing or-producing company has an independent clock. It can also be due to where the timestamp is applied, for example, at the data source or on data reception. Additionally, it can be due to how the timestamp is applied-at the start of the sampling interval, the midpoint, or the end. Some of the communication methods used at the wellsite, such as mud pulse telemetry that is used to transmit downhole measurements to the surface, have a high, nonstationary latency and the actual acquisition time may vary significantly from the received time. Not correcting the reception time for the transmission delay can result in erroneous timestamping of downhole-acquired *** of derived data (data computed from two or more sources) is problematic if the data sources are *** of clocks within the data acquisition network is therefore extremely important. The resolution of time synchronization depends on purpose;motion control of the rig equipment (for example, the hoist) demands high-resolution timekeeping. This paper seeks to go further and use clustering, hypothesis testing as well as attribute independence analysis to delve deeper into the world development indicators such as birth rate, infant mortality, business taxes rates etc., in a bid to pinpoint key relationships in the underlying socio-economic environment of the world today. Regional classifications, based on socio- economic development indicators, show that there are groupings of countries with similar development characteristics and this makes it easier to review, and analyze regional disparities. Hypothesis testing allows us to determine if there is indeed a correlation, such as between the business tax rates and Gross domestic product [GDP] growth or spending on health care and life expectancy. Also, the interdependence and the extent of the impact of these factors may be determined by identifying how precisely each component correlates with the others. And comparative analysis of these indicators were performed using the clustering techniques such as K means, hierarchical clustering, Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise [DBSCAN] and Spectral. The silhouette score for the clusters using K means and Hierarchical clustering shows up better analysis of the development status of the countries based on the world development features. © 2024 IEEE.

The general control system of bamboo splitting machine is controlled by Programmable Logic controller (PLC), which is one of the most expensive devices in industrial automation control system. For some small enterprises or occasions with limited budget, the cost may become a limiting factor. Moreover, the technical threshold is high. Programming and debugging of PLC require professional technical personnel, and a relatively solid theoretical foundation of automation control is needed. Therefore, for some enterprises with lower technical levels, the use and maintenance may pose certain difficulties. To solve this problem, we have designed a set of bamboo splitting machine control system based on STM32 and touch screen. In the selection of HMI hardware, we choose a 2K touch screen with support for ten-point touch on the notebook computer, and equipped with a 64-bit processor chip i5-1135G7 based on the Intel core as the core processor. In terms of touch interface design, we introduce the comprehensive design of database technology and HMI interaction technology. In terms of HMI software interface programming, we adopt the method of object-oriented programming to achieve data communication transmission with the touch screen, upper computer and equipment. Through the Modbus-crc16 communication protocol, direct communication between STM32 and computer touch screen hardware is achieved. After debugging, the system runs stably with fast response speed and wide applicability. It reduces the reliance on traditional HMI hardware and speeds up the product development cycle. The design can achieve the desired display and control effects in the bamboo splitting machine system, providing a new way for the development of the bamboo splitting machine control system. © 2024 IEEE.

Automated guided vehicles and autonomous mobile robots will be a key technology in the factories of the future. They supply the necessary flexibility for smart factories which produce individualized products with lot sizes down to one. With the increased number of tasks for automated guided vehicles, the requirements for their wireless communication systems become more demanding and current solutions won't be sufficient anymore. To efficiently develop, configure and setup communication systems, the knowledge about what type of information is communicated and what are the characteristics of the information communicated is necessary. This work identifies most relevant types of information in an automated guided vehicle system based on a set of use-cases. For each identified information type, an estimate for the communication properties (payload size, cycle-time and latency) is given. The information types are then classified into traffic types for further use to design a wireless communication system.
