The retransmission timeout (RTO) algorithm predicts the packet transmission duration between end-to-end devices. The faulty RTO timeout occurrence in vehicular links tumbles timer predictions during delayed acknowledgment (ACK) due to impulsive round-trip time (RTT) delay. The modified timer projection RTO (MTP-RTO) implementation uses a novel approach incorporating dynamic weights and additional timer variables that significantly reduce faulty timeouts. The MTP-RTO forecasting algorithm outperforms contemporary RTO approaches in in-vehicle networks by achieving the best RTO-RTT deviation, improving transmission efficiency and latency performance. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, switched competitive neural networks (SCNNs) are studied. Different from the previous work, this study uses the intermittent control strategy for the first time to synchronize SCNNs in a fixed time. Secondly, using the theory of fixed-time (FXT) under intermittent control and some scaling techniques, some FXT synchronization criterion of SCNNs are established. Furthermore, the channel matrix is introduced to consider the case of communication constraints. Finally, the correctness and effectiveness of the theory are illustrated by numerical examples. © 2023 IEEE.

Speech Recognition (SR), for all diverse languages, is still a big challenge. SR is predominantly used in telecommunication, medical documentation, car control, aviation, etc. SR involves breaking down an audio signal of spoken words into discrete units and then matching those units to words in a language model. The main target of SR is to attain healthier verbal communication amid humans and machines. Therefore, it is a good technology of the human-machine crossing point. The SR uses the Feature Extraction (FE) techniques for better accuracy. In this paper, various techniques for FE are discussed, and an overview is provided to assist in selecting the most suitable technique for achieving higher accuracy. The review highlights the importance of developing more accurate and robust SR systems to improve the user experience in various domains. Overall, it provides the manuscript deals with five different techniques, and among them, the Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) technique was found to exhibit a high level of accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

Objects are getting connected to the internet, forming what we call the Internet of Things (IoT) as technology is advancing day by day. This has made our lives easier in many ways, but it's also raised concerns about how secure these devices really are. In our research paper, we're looking into a specific problem with an IoT setup where someone could hack into LED lights that are supposed to be controlled by legitimate users. The system works with an ESP32 microcontroller and a simple web page that lets users turn the lights on and off easily. But, there are some big security holes in this setup that could let bad actors mess with the lights without permission. The work demonstrates the vulnerable of a typical IoT systems by simulation of attack using KALI LINUX and discuss the security challenges and issues for an IOT system. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the most rapidly developing technologies that helps reduce the amount of work done by humans is known as 'home automation.' People who are looking for luxury and sophisticated home automation platforms are the target audience for some home automation systems. On the other hand, some systems are designed to be user-friendly for people who have special needs, such as the elderly and the disabled. Home automation and the use of applications that are controlled by voice are becoming more common as a result of advancements in technologies such as Google Assistance and Amazon Alexa. Now, we have developed our own version of this project, which is called 'Voice controlled Home automation Using Google Assistant.' The goal of this paper is to design a home automation board that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and that can be concealed within the AC power units that are mounted on our walls. We are able to control all of the gadgets that are linked to the board by giving it a simple voice command such as 'Okay, Google, turn on the lights.' This will cause the lights to turn on. Because of this paper, we are able to control our household appliances online, manually, and using a timer. © 2023 IEEE.

Traditional networking designs are struggling to keep up with the needs of contemporary applications and consumers as networking technologies advance. The emergence of software-defined networking (SDN) as a viable technique to address these issues is encouraging. By dividing the network's control plane and data plane, allowing for programmable control of network resources, and supporting network virtualization, SDN allows for more adaptable and efficient network administration. Software-defined networking (SDN) is the subject of the study, which aims to describe its advantages and disadvantages, as well as its architecture, methodology, essential technologies (OpenFlow, network virtualization, SD-WAN), and other relevant topics. Both Google's deployment of SDN in its data centre networks and TMNA's deployment of SD-WAN are discussed in the article as real-world examples of successful SDN deployments. This research study also includes case studies of successful SDN deployments at individual firms, offering in-depth examination of the advantages and disadvantages of putting SDN into practice in the real world. The document also includes suggestions and best practices for deploying and managing SDN, as well as methods for addressing the issues that might arise during implementation. In the end, the article finds that software-defined networking is a promising technology with the potential to revolutionize network infrastructure by making it possible to administer networks in a way that is both more adaptive and more secure. However, in order to reap the advantages of SDN, deployment must be carefully planned and executed, and businesses must be willing to invest in new hardware and software. © 2023 IEEE.

Braille is the composition of dots representing the various alphabets which will enable the visually impaired to read. People with visual impairments cannot read or visualize in their daily lives, they deal with several issues, including dependency, communication, transportation, and societal stigma. The goal is to create a digital assistance tool that can transform sign language into text and speech, facilitating communication between the public and groups of people who are blind. Using the latest technology and the availability of an Embedded board with a built-in advanced feature that allows real-time computation of the images and application of AI, the proposed approach will convert the text in the images into braille to help the blind to read the information in real-time the information is transformed into textual content and sent to the braille device. The Braille documents can be printed on a reusable screen or a refreshable screen, this reduces the paper cost and allows more files to be available to disabled people stimulating learning. This research presents a method where the normal text and sign board can be scanned, and it will be processed to generate the braille equivalent file. These files are used by the digital supporting device to generate braille literature on a refreshable screen of Braille embossed dots segmentation for Braille document images. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

A greenhouse regulates both indoor and outdoor characteristics to create a controlled environment that fosters ideal circumstances for plant development. This research presents a comprehensive remote monitoring system for greenhouses that is intended to identify and control important environmental factors. The system uses a variety of sensors to measure air pressure, soil moisture, pH, temperature, humidity, light, and carbon dioxide levels indoors. Rainfall and other outdoor factors, such as wind direction and speed, are also tracked. Sensors such as the DHT11 for temperature and humidity, the LM393 for light, the MG811 for carbon dioxide, the LM293 for soil moisture, the ES-PH-NOI-TR-l for soil pH, the IC-RK120-03 for wind speed and direction, and the ACS72981 for precipitation are all used by the greenhouse remote monitoring system. At predetermined places, these sensors continuously assess particular environmental parameters. They then use machine learning algorithms to send measurement data to the control platform. The system sends a signal to the controller of the associated sensor when it detects a change in value. This enables prompt modifications to be made using terminal valves (such as water valves, heating, droppers, and spray irrigation). Applications in agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry make use of the Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled greenhouse remote monitoring system, which offers vital information and makes real-time modifications for the proper growth of ecological crops possible. The system ensures scientific monitoring and management while automating supervision. Based on parameters like accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, fl-score, recall, and precision in relation to current techniques, a performance analysis of the suggested system is carried out. The goal of this research is to further greenhouse technology by providing a dependable and effective method for managing and cultivating plants in controlled conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

Robot structure plays a vital role in handling different terrains. TankBot is a rugged design that uses sensors for navigation through sloppy surfaces. In this work, the Gyro sensor provides information to the robot pose and propagates to the target point through the environment. TankBot needs to handle obstacles for wheel safety by collision detection avoidance mechanism. It is equipped with a cliff sensor for collision detection and an ultrasonic sensor for static obstacle avoidance. The robot is in a start position in the workspace, and it proceeds to the target point without collision using various controllers through gyro reference. controller performance comparison shows that PID controller performance is 13.3% better in handling obstacle environments and 8% faster in handling sloppy surfaces. The robot performance is validated using LEGO Mindstorm EV3 as TankBot design. © 2024 IEEE.

The Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a device switching get up automatically between the power source main source and a certain secondary source. When a failure in the primary power system automatic transfer switch change to a secondary power source. Automatic Transfer Switch can also operate more long-term standby power systems, such as local diesel generators to power electrical devices until interested power is restored. Cloud computing has the potential to greatly improve automation in industrial monitoring by providing access to scalable computing resources and data storage. With cloud computing industrial automation systems can process and analyze large amounts of data in real-time enabling better decision-making. Using cloud computing for automation can also help reduce costs as it eliminates the need for expensive on-premises hardware and allows for a pay-as-you-go model. The using of cloud computing in industrial automation can lead to increased efficiency, and productivity. In this study, an ATS was designed and implemented through cloud computing using the AutoCAD program and microcontroller (ESP-wroom-32) element in order to be provide higher speed in controlling the switching of power sources for long distances, and to providing data analysis and making important decisions. In industrial stations, the process of controlling the circuit breakers of transformers and generators is done manually. Therefore, this system was designed and implemented to provide ease of control of these circuit breakers through the cloud, as well as reduce maintenance costs and protect operators from the danger of direct switching in circuit breakers. © 2023 IEEE.
