This paper investigates the distributed containment control problem for a class of multi-agent systems containing uncertainties and external disturbances. We propose an embedded control structure consisting of two modules to address this issue. In module I, a containment control signal generator with prescribed-time convergence is constructed by combining prescribed-time control and containment control, and its output signal is capable of achieving the desired containment control objective. In Module II, the output of the signal generator serves as the reference trajectory for the actual agent. In order to estimate the nonlinear term and disturbances in the system, an extended state observer is combined, and then prescribed-time feedback anti-disturbance tracking controllers are designed for the agents to track the corresponding outputs of the signal generator. The two-layer control framework allows the multi-agent systems to attain the objective of prescribed-time containment control. In contrast to previous studies, the proposed distributed containment control algorithm can prevent the real agents from being impacted by the convoluted communication network and has remarkable anti-disturbance qualities. The designed controller's effectiveness is confirmed through numerical simulations. © 2024 IEEE.

From 2027 to 2030, Sixth Generation (6G) wireless communication systems are expected to be launched to revolutionize human and machine interaction with ultra fast data transmission speeds and low, or virtually zero latency communication. In this paper, we investigate the transformative potential of 6G networks enabled by AI, and describe key 6G network technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and sub miiitter wave technology. In addition to being able to exceed 5G Maximum Throughput (MT), 6G is forecast to enable advanced applications including holographic communications, XR (extended reality), and ubiquitous M2M (machine to machine) interaction. Although significant obstacles remain with respect to security, energy efficiency, and spectrum management. In this paper, 5G development existing gaps are identified, and a comprehensive AI driven framework for resource allocation, latency reduction, and spectrum utilization optimization is proposed for 6G systems. This study further explores the position of edge computing, IoT integration, and AI powered network security protocols. Finally, we demonstrate real world applications, such as smart healthcare, autonomous vehicles, and space communications, discussing privacy and sustainability aspects of 6G technology. © 2025 IEEE.

GPU-aware collective communication has become a major bottle-neck for modern computing platforms as GPU computing power rapidly rises. A traditional approach is to directly integrate lossy compression into GPU-aware collectives, which can lead to serious performance issues such as underutilized GPU devices and uncontrolled data distortion. In order to address these issues, in this paper, we propose gZCCL, a first-ever general framework that designs and optimizes GPU-aware, compression-enabled collectives with an accuracy-aware design to control error propagation. To validate our framework, we evaluate the performance on up to 512 NVIDIA A100 GPUs with real-world applications and datasets. Experimental results demonstrate that our gZCCL-accelerated collectives, including both collective computation (Allreduce) and collective data movement (Scatter), can outperform NCCL as well as Cray MPI by up to 4.5x and 28.7x, respectively. Furthermore, our accuracy evaluation with an image-stacking application confirms the high reconstructed data quality of our accuracy-aware framework.

Fifth generation wireless (5G) technology includes a range of service categories, notably ultra-reliable low-latency communications (uRLLCs). uRLLCs use cases are distinguished by their exceptional reliability in delivering packets quickly. However, fulfilling the stringent low latency demands of uRLLC applications poses a significant challenge for 5G networks. Traditional central cloud-based architectures struggle to achieve these tight requirements, necessitating creative latency optimisation methods. Therefore, Edge computing emerges as a viable paradigm, with the potential to bring computational resources closer to end users and applications to achieve end-to-end latency of around 10 milliseconds (ms). In this paper, we propose an efficient architecture for minimising latency in 5G networks by moving the user plane function (UPF) to the network edge closer to the users, leveraging the control and user plane separation (CUPS) strategy. In addition, this paper further proposes the software-defined networking (SDN) based backhaul. Leveraging SDN in the backhaul network of 5G deployments allows operators to create dynamic, scalable, and efficient networks capable of serving a diverse variety of services and applications with varying performance needs. The experiment results from the 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) compliant 5G testbed prove that the proposed architecture optimises the latency by 60%. Average throughput is also improved by approximately 40%.

Mosaic Virus is highly responsible for the crop loss, especially the pepper, which is considered part of food crop, an essential aspect of world's agriculture. This work aims at automating the classification of disease severity level-related the Pepper Leaf Mosaic Virus Disease threshold through vision transformer (ViT) model to ensure a critical job. The classification of the severity is more often accompanied by a fairly significant amount of workload and arbitrariness, resulting in equipment innovation in most of the locations. The work applies ViT-based approaches with sufficient precision to appropriately classify a dataset, which contains 10,800 meticulously selected photographs. The present model obtained a commendable average accuracy of 97.25%, which shows that the model was able to detect even smaller differences between the classes of severity. The operational criteria that include the tale of the precision, recall, and F1-score highlight the model's ability to minimize to Feggsor false Positives with its ability to discriminate cases of viruses at different levels of the spectrum. The more advanced comparison charts made hand methodologies stand at the pinnacle in plant pathology studies. This study is not only beneficial in terms of illuminating the understanding about the Pepper Leaf Mosaic Virus but also gives farmers and researchers a transformative tool that could change the way disease control methods are used. Technologies AI that power ViT model are helping the agriculture industries throughout the world to implement sustainability and resiliency of the systems by providing responses in the right time and place in addressing viral infections. © 2024 IEEE.

To meet the growing economy and environmental protection requirements of desulfurization, developed a set of operation and monitoring platform of intelligent desulfurization. The platform is developed based on Python, use the MVC architecture as the software architecture of the platform, and use MySQL to manage data. The platform communicates real-time data with the desulfurization equipment through the Modbus Tep communication protocol and the TDI communication interface. The visualization development of the platform is based on PyQt and Web configuration software, using PyQt to design the GUI of platform software and use Web configuration software to carry out intelligent analysis of data, the communication between the frontend and backend is through the WebSocket communication protocol. The platform integrates funcitions such as user management, real-time monitoring, energy consumption intelligent analysis, desulfurization intelligent optimization and database management. The platform is developed based on Python,compared with other programming languages, the rich standard library and third-party library can effectively and quickly help us solve most of the problems encountered in the development, so as to meet the requirements of intelligence, economy and environmental protection of intelligent desulfurization. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper analysis the Cascade multilevel inverters (CMI) are superior to other multilevel inverter configurations in STATCOM applications owing to their distinguishing features, such as structural flexibility and control design feasibility in the service of lower device losses and high value of AC output voltage waveform improve. Voltage output stabilization and pf correction in case of common connection are two exceedingly difficulties that might lead to the system's dominance. This study presents the system's general control architecture and details how the 9-level CMI might be used as STATCOM to perform reactive power compensation and dc network voltage equalization. The superiority of the system under varying loads and fault circumstances has been confirmed by computer modelling. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper investigates the distributed adaptive dynamic event-based consensus problem for a class of linear multiagent systems (MASs) affected by time-varying multiplicative faults. A distributed adaptive dynamic event-triggered control is designed to realize that asymptotic consensus can be achieved in the presence of actuation faults while excluding the Zeno behavior. A novel adaptive dynamic event-triggering mechanism (ADETM) is introduced to regulate the intermittent communication between neighboring agents. The adaptive techniques are introduced to determine the estimated value of the unknown actuator fault and the coupling weight. The new event-triggering function incorporates internal dynamic variables and adaptive parameters to adjust event-triggering conditions, reducing the frequency of triggering events and conserving communication resources. The nature of the proposed protocol is that it is fully distributed, which means the controller operates without requiring global communication graph information. Local state estimation is utilized in the event-triggered protocol, eliminating the need for continuous communication in control law updates and event detection. Finally, a simulation example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents an approach to increase the field service ability of home appliances by integrating advanced diagnostic capabilities into the Appliance control Unit (ACU). Traditional maintenance practices often face challenges like complexity of appliance system, unable to identify exact root cause, access to components individually and simply identifying and rectifying faults in home appliances, leading to increased prolonged downtime and increased service cost and customer dissatisfaction. To address these issues, this paper proposes the integration of current sensing and voltage sensing circuit within the feedback loop of the ACU, enabling real- time monitoring of electrical parameters during operation. So that it will make it easier for service engineers to identify the correct component of malfunctioning and their data. ACU interprets these sensor circuit data to diagnose various operational irregularities, including motor strain, pump blockages, and voltage fluctuations, short circuit, and open circuit. The data obtained from the current and voltage sensing circuit is fed into the microcontroller. Subsequently, establishing a connection with the service module through the wire port connector, a connection with phone through bluetooth, facilitating seamless communication between devices. The validity of the proposed method was verified by analyzing the simulation and experimental results. © 2024 IEEE.
