Road congestion is the main cause for slower speed, long waiting time for the emergency vehicles. The project proposes a Smart Traffic Management System for ambulances to reduce road congestion, improve response time, and reduce waiting times. It uses modern communication, computation, and sensing technologies to minimize response time, travel time, and waiting time. The system uses Dijkstra's shortest path algorithm to calculate optimal routes based on real-time traffic conditions, road closures, and congestion, ensuring the ambulance is always on the most efficient route. The Smart Traffic Management System uses the YOLO deep learning algorithm to detect and track ambulances in real-time, enabling rapid and accurate vehicle recognition in complex traffic scenarios. Once detected, the system controls traffic signals along the ambulance's route, prioritizing green lights when approaching intersections. This intelligent traffic signal control balances the needs of the emergency vehicle with traffic flow, minimizing delays and improving response times. The system's combination of YOLO-based vehicle detection, Dijkstra path optimization, and intelligent traffic signal control makes it a valuable tool for modern urban emergency services, reducing ambulance response times. © 2024 IEEE.

Industrial automation is a developing technology that has a sustainable growth in the modern environment. The industrial automation has several benefits like the lesser involvement of employees in the industry operation, and maintains the process with accuracy and precision. The purpose of the industrial automation project equipped with PLC, minimizes the overall operational cost of the plant operation. Dyeing industry operates on different stages of tedious processes that certainly require factory automation for efficient plant operation. By implementing factory automation systems the one big problem statement of paying wages to the employees at the time of no order period is being eliminated. The PLC is a control unit where all the machinery from the dyeing industry is connected and monitored through IoT. This way of factory automation is implemented by developing a prototype model for automation and control mechanism for the textile dyeing process using PLC and IoT. Dyeing is a process, where the fabric is rolled up in the winch dyeing machine and the gradual transfer of dyes to the fabric under optimum temperature is performed. The major machineries involved in the dyeing process are the winch dyeing machine and the boiler. Winch dyeing machine have a rotating rod that spins when the motor is energized, the feed water and hot water is passed to the winch machine when the solenoid valve is actuated based on the preset value. The work in this paper deals with the process of automated the whole system using PLC. The level of the dyebath in the winch dyeing machine is actively monitored using the level sensor and the real time values are taken to the cloud. This automation benefits the dyeing Industry with precision, accuracy and real time monitoring of plant. © 2023 IEEE.

Reinforcement learning (RL) stands out as a promising method for developing better control strategies in robotic systems, particularly in tasks involving complex dynamics such as ball-balancing in automated manufacturing. In automated manufacturing processes, efficient control of robotic arms is crucial for maintaining precision and productivity. This paper presents the implementation of the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) algorithm for optimal control of a robotic arm in ball-balancing tasks. The efficacy of the proposed DDPG algorithm is demonstrated through comparison with the existing Soft Actor-Critic (SAC) algorithm. Through simulations, the results obtained from DDPG are analysed and contrasted with those from SAC. The smooth trajectory achieved with the DDPG algorithm showcases its ability to generate precise and consistent control commands, leading to stable and smooth motion of the robotic arm during ball balancing. This research contributes to advancing automation in manufacturing by presenting a robust RL framework for optimizing robotic arm control in complex tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

The retransmission timeout (RTO) algorithm predicts the packet transmission duration between end-to-end devices. The faulty RTO timeout occurrence in vehicular links tumbles timer predictions during delayed acknowledgment (ACK) due to impulsive round-trip time (RTT) delay. The modified timer projection RTO (MTP-RTO) implementation uses a novel approach incorporating dynamic weights and additional timer variables that significantly reduce faulty timeouts. The MTP-RTO forecasting algorithm outperforms contemporary RTO approaches in in-vehicle networks by achieving the best RTO-RTT deviation, improving transmission efficiency and latency performance. © 2024 IEEE.

Speech Recognition (SR), for all diverse languages, is still a big challenge. SR is predominantly used in telecommunication, medical documentation, car control, aviation, etc. SR involves breaking down an audio signal of spoken words into discrete units and then matching those units to words in a language model. The main target of SR is to attain healthier verbal communication amid humans and machines. Therefore, it is a good technology of the human-machine crossing point. The SR uses the Feature Extraction (FE) techniques for better accuracy. In this paper, various techniques for FE are discussed, and an overview is provided to assist in selecting the most suitable technique for achieving higher accuracy. The review highlights the importance of developing more accurate and robust SR systems to improve the user experience in various domains. Overall, it provides the manuscript deals with five different techniques, and among them, the Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) technique was found to exhibit a high level of accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

Objects are getting connected to the internet, forming what we call the Internet of Things (IoT) as technology is advancing day by day. This has made our lives easier in many ways, but it's also raised concerns about how secure these devices really are. In our research paper, we're looking into a specific problem with an IoT setup where someone could hack into LED lights that are supposed to be controlled by legitimate users. The system works with an ESP32 microcontroller and a simple web page that lets users turn the lights on and off easily. But, there are some big security holes in this setup that could let bad actors mess with the lights without permission. The work demonstrates the vulnerable of a typical IoT systems by simulation of attack using KALI LINUX and discuss the security challenges and issues for an IOT system. © 2024 IEEE.

Braille is the composition of dots representing the various alphabets which will enable the visually impaired to read. People with visual impairments cannot read or visualize in their daily lives, they deal with several issues, including dependency, communication, transportation, and societal stigma. The goal is to create a digital assistance tool that can transform sign language into text and speech, facilitating communication between the public and groups of people who are blind. Using the latest technology and the availability of an Embedded board with a built-in advanced feature that allows real-time computation of the images and application of AI, the proposed approach will convert the text in the images into braille to help the blind to read the information in real-time the information is transformed into textual content and sent to the braille device. The Braille documents can be printed on a reusable screen or a refreshable screen, this reduces the paper cost and allows more files to be available to disabled people stimulating learning. This research presents a method where the normal text and sign board can be scanned, and it will be processed to generate the braille equivalent file. These files are used by the digital supporting device to generate braille literature on a refreshable screen of Braille embossed dots segmentation for Braille document images. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

One of the most rapidly developing technologies that helps reduce the amount of work done by humans is known as 'home automation.' People who are looking for luxury and sophisticated home automation platforms are the target audience for some home automation systems. On the other hand, some systems are designed to be user-friendly for people who have special needs, such as the elderly and the disabled. Home automation and the use of applications that are controlled by voice are becoming more common as a result of advancements in technologies such as Google Assistance and Amazon Alexa. Now, we have developed our own version of this project, which is called 'Voice controlled Home automation Using Google Assistant.' The goal of this paper is to design a home automation board that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and that can be concealed within the AC power units that are mounted on our walls. We are able to control all of the gadgets that are linked to the board by giving it a simple voice command such as 'Okay, Google, turn on the lights.' This will cause the lights to turn on. Because of this paper, we are able to control our household appliances online, manually, and using a timer. © 2023 IEEE.
